I had a wonderful experience at Fattoria di Maiano with my teen age daughter. The place is wonderful. Wonderful view over the Tuscany hills. 10 min away from Florence. Very practical. In the summer, Fiesole is more fresh, there is a breeze . The salt swimming pool is fabulous ! And the breakfast are amazin ! The best breakfast i ever had ! All the products comes from the farm or local producers from Fiesole ! Local yogurth, local fresh fruits, homemade jams, homemade cakes, homemade orange juices, fabulous italian coffee. And THE BEST croissants i ever tasted in my life !!! I had a wonderful experience at Fattaria di Maiano. People who work there are absolutely adorable ! 💙 grazie mile per tutto !

It was so Wonderful experience that i came back ! Excellent location (10 min away from Florence center by car). Beautiful landscape. Beautiful view over the hills of Toscany. Excellent breakfast with only organic food, local products, homemade jams, homemade cakes, fresh orange juice, delicious coffee. If you are a family, it is a perfect place for your family summer holidays : there are animals like donkeys, … in the beautiful parc of the farm. Fattoria di Maiano is a fabulous place !

The breakfast was excellent. Fresh and homemade. You really got the feeling that it came directly from the farm. The lunches were great too. The staff was helpful and communicative. The pool was a good size and very clean. I really enjoyed my stay.
I think they outdoor space could have been better furnished and decorated, so that you could relax there comfortably. The room was good an comfortable, but I would have preferred a better view.

Breakfast was simple but good quality and friendly staff. Location was good (close to Florence, but still quiet). Lunch/dinner was good.
Some of the restaurant recommendations from the hotel were below our expectations. Lots of mosquitos in the rooms (mosquito nets on the windows would be a good idea).
4.0
location, pool, forest trek and property yard including the farm animal experience
Food was very basic considering the charges and the restaurant was closed on some days for dinner. this is a issue considering that the property is out of the city

We had to leave early morning, but the stuff was very kind and brought us breakfast to go the night before. I even got a pack of gf bread as I'm celiac.

The location, pool and excellent food! Staff was kind and patient - accommodating every request I made (taxi etc) Also this place has great history, great vibes and genuine care for people, land and animals. I can’t wait to return ❣️❣️❣️
The pool hours and ground hours are limited.

This place was GORGEOUS. It felt like you’re miles away from the city but it was only 10 mins from the heart of Florence. We took a stroll through the grounds and bumped into beautiful buildings and castles. Loved to see all the animals. Rooms were very clean and nice. Breakfast and dinner and lunch served on site with a beautiful view.
We loved everything about this property

Pool was great, the animals in the garden, but breakfast was ordinary.
Breakfast

The location was great and unexpected. We had hoped to bus into Florence, but this, we learnt, was not not a good option. The views over Florence were stunning. The restaurant was perfect with this picturesque view. There were other restaurants in the versatility to chose from.. our room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our car was safely parked nearby.
Breakfast was not perfect but adequate.

The pool and the stunning view on the hills surrouning Florence. Worth to stay here.
The farm and the animals (donkey, gooses, bees, cattle, peacocks ...).
Also the food is good and fresh / the breakfast and its room.
Well it is Agritourismo - so animals are to be considered. Also the smell of pigs on the terrace of the restaurant?
The relative fresh reanovated rooms miss some decoration and start to get rotten (areas of the wallpaint fall off) the PU foam for glueing-in the doors is not removed outside the door (room no 5 bath)
There is a road with traffic under the window.
The "botanic garden" is nice try, not more.

We had a couple of questions regarding our early check out and they replied our calls/text when we were on our way to our next destination.
The view from our room was to the parking spot, the breakfast was very pour and we basically felt like if someone rent us an apartment without any service included.
We won’t recommend this property you won’t get the vibe of the Tuscany there.

Comfortable, quiet, helpful and friendly staff. You get free access to the botanical garden that is part of the property (more like a farm though). Nice to just walk around and see the city from above. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was excellent.
Towels in the bathroom were not the best, felt like the same material you get with a napkin at a restaurant. The restaurant is only open for dinner Thursday through Saturday. Depending on what direction you're coming from, you may be driving through very narrow streets that is shared by both directions of traffic, so be careful. Overall, i still give it 10 points since it was still a great place to stay.

Staff always kind and helpful.
Great food at decent prices.
Farm life 15 minutes by car from central Florence
Crowded during weekends but this only means it's also popular among locals.

beautiful property next to Fiesole, which is still few minutes drive from Florence. Amazing salt water pool and view of the valley. Breakfast was delicious and all products were made in house. Even the ham!

The location is a short ride from Florence but you truly feel you are in another place. The countryside is gorgeous and there are nice restaurants close to the hotel. Lots of walking trails and sites to see. Breakfast is continental but generous.

It's a beautiful farm setting, really great for kids and the highlight was definitely the pool area, with its amazing views.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and did their best to make us feel comfortable and welcome.
We also enjoyed the fact that the room was cleaned every day and we always had fresh towels, not just for the bathroom but also the pool area.
Unfortunately, due to the heat and rains before we arrived we were literally eaten by 'zanzare' - even during the day by the pool side and we couldn't open the windows, because there are no screens to keep them out. That might be something to point out to clients beforehand and perhaps invest in.
And the road was very rough and bumpy in parts on the way in which was a bit irritating since we had a rented car and were worried about damage to the chassis.
We also had a room looking out onto a construction site, not the most pleasant view, but the pool side made up for that.
The wasp invasion at breakfast was resolved as we were kindly accepted in the other breakfast area close to the reception since our breakfast was served in a corridor area leading out onto the construction site swarming with wasps.
We were obviously aware that such an agricultural setting would mean 'enjoying nature' with all its creatures, but I think clients would appreciate a few measures to keep such irritations in check.
However, I'm pleased to say that the very friendly staff always had an open ear and did their best to remedy the little nuisances.

different buildings, some flats are quite far away from the restaurant, pool etc.
