amazing facilities and staff
remote and quite expensive for food
3.5 / 5.0
good and friendly service, should be a good place for summer, many activities available
most of the facilities were closed off season (we went in April), which wasn’t mentioned on Booking (only one restaurant open), there was no heating in the hotel and it was very cold (we were provided a portable heater for the room, but the rest of the facilities were uncomfortably cold), very expensive drinks for their quality, a lot of construction/works ongoing in the hotel and in the area around

everything: villa, place, employees so kind, beach, facilities… spa all perfect !
price of beers 12€ is way too much in comparison to the rest (food)

An incredible location.
Staff very helpful.
Food excellent throughout.
We were not warned about significant construction work on the property, and either side of the property which started well before 8am.
We were woken up by housekeeping repeatedly throughout the stay even when the do not disturb was in place.
There were several nights where 50% of the on-resort dining options were closed for loud private parties running until gone 1am which was bad for sleep!

The location is amazing.
The food and drink prices were extortionate for varying quality. Cocktails were 23-26 euros which is ridiculous. And the different restaurants varied in quality which was disappointing.

picture perfect beachfront location. 4 restaurants that we tried were really good. staff were amazing, so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us, especially Betul, who went above and beyond.
pool area leaves a lot to be desired. one night there was very loud music playing in one of the restaurants which didn’t switch off until midnight. we never got a heads up that this would be the case - a note in our room would have been appreciated to explain.

the staff are fantastic, love the personal concierge whatsapp group. everything just a text away. beaches lovely and clean, all the daily activities/classes on offer and exceptional spa/gym
could have more choice at restaurants, menu's felt v similar. and you are quite isolated which is kind of the point of a retreat, but the boat transfer is one a day each way to the busier port area 40mins away. prices the same as south of france or southern italy, premium european destinations

beautiful property and facilities
after a while, felt quite isolated.
5.0 / 5.0
The guest relations were excellent and the variety of beaches and facilities like the gym and spa provided space so it never felt busy even when at capacity.
All the prices on menus, spa, water sports etc were in Euros but the bills and invoices were presented on Turkish lira. Very frustrating trying to check the amounts by converting currency. It was also unclear whether all children's food and drink were complementary.

Very high end and quality place with great service.
1- more signs to find the hotel
2- some type of AC underneath of rooms causing noise in the night
3.5 / 5.0
Beautiful location, impressive and elegant architecture. Several beautiful beaches and pools to choose from. Staff was generally friendly and helpful. Great massages at the spa. Love the focus on sustainability.
- Poor sound isolation; we could hear the faintest sniff in the hallway from our room (and also loud conversations at 1AM).
- Food was mostly good but not 5 stars/worthy of what they charge.
- There was nowhere near the bathroom sink to hang a towel (?!)
- The blinds in the bathroom don’t fully block out the sun, which shines into the bedroom. The only way to solve this is to close the noisy sliding door to the bathroom, which is disruptive if you need the bathroom at night.
- We ran out of sunblock during our stay (our fault). But to charge 55eur(!!) for a *small tube* is extortionate. Sunblock is a matter of basic safety. That sunblock retails for 12 euros elsewhere. At that price you are holding your guests safety hostage. The person at the spa said it was the only option at the resort, not mentioning the shop we later learned about selling sunblock for <10eur. I know 55eur is nothing to many guests staying here, but for those like us where this hotel is a special splurge, to put a necessity at that price is frankly gross.
- Breakfast was our biggest disappointment. Totally disorganized. On our first day nobody asked us if we knew how breakfast worked so we had to figure it out (we were asked on our 2nd day though). A host would seat us, but then we’d need to flag someone down to give us cutlery/take our drink order. It seemed like nobody “owned” a given seating area, which meant it was easy to get overlooked (perhaps staff assumed someone else already was helping us). One morning, somebody else took our table while we were getting food (we got tired of waiting for cutlery). We assumed staff would track who they had already seated where. There were more than enough staff to cover the tables - these problems could be solved with a more efficient system to manage responsibilities.

Beautiful location. Great staff
Stupidly expensive food and drink. 13euros for a tiny glass of wine. Cheapest bottle of wine 55E

The hotel is uniquely beautifully designed. Everything is right down to the smallest detail. The landscape is extremely beautiful and the small bays are wonderful for swimming.
We found the food overpriced compared to the quality and rather poor variety.

Location was superb. Staff was all amazing and so friendly. The manager Atahan took great care of us and made sure we were happy and comfortable. Burak from the concierge office went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. He arranged a day trip from the resort to Bodrum for us and we loved it, especially the dinner at Melengeç! Spa and massage therapy was amazing. One of the best spa experiences I have ever had. Food was sooo good and fresh and healthy. We absolutely loved the selection at the breakfast buffet and the beach restaurant also served us a superb dinner on the beach. The walkway was amazing and weather was perfect. I would recommend this resort to anyone and hope to go back to it soon.
The pillows were not comfortable. The coffee machine needs replacement I think; it’s too old and was dripping my coffee. I didnt like the shampoo and lotion.

Everything was perfect. Room was super comfortable and clean. Views are amazing from the room. Food is incredible, the SPA is a great experience. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and kind, especially our concierge Maryna.
Unfortunately, some areas of the men’s SPA were closed because of technical issues.

Stunning property in an incredible location. The staff is magnificent and the hotel is full of incredible facilities- it had by far the best gym I have seen at any hotel anywhere, a magnificent spa and endless outdoor activities to engage in.
The hotel does not inform guests while booking that a considerable amount of their facilities start to shut down from October for the winter. There was only ONE restaurant open for the duration of our stay and so we got VERY bored of the food. The food quality is ok but ridiculously overpriced for what you get (more so than at most hotels of this calibre). Only 1 of their 4/5 beaches was officially open. The closure also meant that the resort was somewhat understaffed (especially the beach and restaurant) which is unacceptable for the prices they charge.

Reflecting my last stay at Six Senses Kaplankaya, I’d like to express my gratitude for this amazing time spent over there. It is very impressive how every single member of the team is keen to contribute to adding value to your journey, this experienced in several occasions during my stay. You feel the staff commitment to their Brand values and it feels like it’s authentic and the hospitality you do experience goes far beyond what you may expect or may have experienced in the past.
The onboarding/check-in process with Ahmer (Front Office Manager) & Marina (Guest Relations) who welcome you friendly, pro-actively answering your questions and letting you feel welcome from the first minute on, taking ownership in the first moment of your encounter within the location. They have been generous from day 1 to day 7, daily asking how to support, inspiring pro-actively for new experiences. You will tell me it’s their job, fine, but it was done in such a polite/customer oriented way, not too intrusive, choosing the right timings, just great. When you consider the volume of guests this resort is able to welcome, waouh!
The hardware is well done, modern furniture, decent and very cosy, the beds are the best in class. I enjoyed also the silence of the location, it is really a peaceful retreat.
Great food, very good quality, mainly bio and aligned with Six Senses values and commitment.
The Gym is huge with several spaces depending on the training type you’re used too, you have everything you need to keep the shape, even a ping-pong room, a basketball room, a squash room, a Yoga space and again amazing and kind people keeping the location clean and/or supporting you if needed like Hans at the gym, always available und humble.
The SPA is the biggest one in Europe, they offer a quantity of treatments that are just amazing, here also the team is stunning, kind and very well trained.

This hotel is truly special.
First of all it is definitely a hidden gem, due to it’s location, it is not super popular, but this is indeed what makes it unique. Kaplankaya as a whole, is a great area to explore
Sea is brilliant, with sand. Very easy to access for even babies, kids etc. There are two beaches, you can enjoy whichever you wish to, and also there are some wild beaches with no service but still super nice to with your towel and beverages
Hotel has amazing restaurants such as Mezze by the Sea. Also you can check other very cool options in Kaplankaya area, such as Saloncuma which is located in very beautiful Clubhouse area, or Anhinga which is a beach pop-up restaurant, super fine dining.
Pools are very nice for swimming and rest
Spa is the best ever! Very very very beautiful, I don’t have enough words. Same for daily yoga and meditation classes and teachers
Staff is very nice. Breakfast buffet is beautiful and a la cart menu is creative. Maybe they can increase their pastry and sweet options for breakfast
Every single detail was amazing here.
Art galery was super cool. Views are amazing. Rooms are nice!
Nothing really. Only bad side is food pricing is in EUR. No need for that. TRY would be better for a hotel in Turkey.

We stayed in the rooms in the main building which was very convenient in terms of the accessibility of the spa, restaurant, reception everything was located on different floors of the same building.
We also enjoyed the accessibility of the beach. We were pleasantly surprised that it was just 5 minutes walk from the main building. Also the beach itself is very nice. In late September the water was cooling but still not cold and air temperature was close to 30, so it was very comfortable.
We also enjoyed the huge area of the hotel, its multiple beaches and small restaurants by the beaches. It gives the opportunity for guests to choose, spread so we never had this feeling of overcrowding. Enough space for everyone.
Also I have to admit that all of the staff members were extremely helpful and nice.
Unfortunately, the breakfast choices were very limited. We wish there were more fruits and berries as well as some porridge or soup or maybe an option of full English breakfast… but yeah, the breakfasts didn’t impress us at all.
Generally, the food we had for dinner at the main restaurant or Meze by the Sea restaurant was average, of a very limited choice and quite expensive. For example, at the Meze by the Sea one dorado fish cost us 70€, which we found to be quite expensive. Also since the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere there is no really nice places to go for dinner nearby. So, you don’t have a choice… I have attached the dinner menu of the main restaurant.

Food served is good but bar and drinks are below average and pricey.

The facility is new, modern and well designed. All rooms has a view. Sunset views are beautiful.
Several beautiful beaches in a short distance. Buggy service is prompt. The sea is much calmer and nicer in the mornings.
Walking/hiking and cycling trails are available by the coast. Go in the morning. Facilities like spa, gym, wellness are of a high quality.
Good Breakfast! Go before 9am for a better service.
Overall food is not very satisfying. Sage restaurant is average. Mezze has some good vibes with live music. Salon cuma is ok. Anhinga has a great set up and view but the options were limited.
