Very nice flat and great location

Location and general flat was very nice.

The bed mattress was old, they tried to make up for it with a mattress topper and the pillows didn't provide any support for sleeping.

Exceptional

The host was very helpful, from us arriving early to wifi issue, they were very responsive. Very spacious apartment with great shower. Comfy beds as well. The area feels safe. Shops and tourist attractions are all within walking distance

the flat had bread, jam, biscuits, milk water etc on arrival, was not expecting this - pleasant surprise.

Cozy and cute!

- Clean - Safe - Good location near the station - Balcony - Smart TV - Nicely decorated and well maintained - Sweet touch with the goodies in the fridge (juice, milk , cookies )

Clean & tidy Apartment

The flat was good with reasonable provisions.

The mattresses were too soft for us. Also, the tv in the rooms were too small.

relaxing, convenient and would definitely visit again!

in a great location, staff were very accommodating with regards to early check in and late check out, super clean and modern and got a little welcome pack with bread, jam, tea, coffee, milk etc which as a nice little bonus.

just be mindful of parking - there is some on site but not enough which we didn’t find out till after we’d booked so had to park at an NCP one round the corner. was a stone’s throw away so location wasn’t too far but just in case it’s one of the reasons you book the property. the apartments also get very hot!! all the rooms have underfloor heating but is very powerful so we turned it off when we got in and the apartment still stayed warm warm throughout the day.

Stunning apartment in great location

Beautiful apartment. Extremely convenient location. Very well-stocked kitchen. Greeted upon arrival by a very kind and helpful host. Were allowed an early check-in and late chech-out which helped us out a huge amount.

The pillows were too soft for our liking.

The customer service team was top notch and professional.

Booking dates were 18th – 20th. I was reallocated to an apartment at a different location on the 17th, however as the email I received was a standard template message which didn’t explicitly say this, and the email header only said ‘change of apartment’, not that the apartment would now also be at a different location. I originally booked the Vesta apartment, which was close to the rail station. I only realised the new property the Citystay reallocated me was very far away from the one I booked originally when I was on the taxi heading to the apartment on the day. Luca from the Guest Services team was very professional and helpful, and kept his calm and helped me to relocate to another apartment (The Dales) that was closer to the rail station whist dealing with my frustration on the phone and also kindly offered a box of chocolate as compensation. The Dales apartment was lovely but unfortunately was without hot water and the property management team was not able to fix it during the weekend. I had to move to another apartment (Midsummer Mews). The customer service team was top notch and professional. I sincerely hope my next stay with Citystay will be more stable so that I could enjoy the apartment properly.

Bad customer service

Lovely flat!

We have been left without hot water over our 3 night stay at Christmas. No one answered our messages, no information, no communication, no help! Very disappointed!

Spacious and clean apartment

We love the spacious and clean apartment. The welcome hamper containing mini jars of jam, butter, cookies, chocolates, milk, juice was a nice addition. Location was quiet and convenient. The apartment had everything we need for a very comfortable 2 night stay in Cambridge!

Although not a deal-breaker, the apartment could've used with a bit of extra touches like rugs in the bedroom and the odd occasional furniture to make it a bit more comfortable, warm and cozy.

Cambridge is a beautiful city to visit anything time of the year and if we were to visit again we would definitely stay

Beds really comfortable. Facilities really good. Loved the shower and toiletries. Welcome pack was a lovely touch.

The only problem we had was we weren’t given a additional key fob to use the lift from the car park. Our host was new and didn’t realise. Had to walk up the ramp from the car park.
