Beautiful landscaping including wonderful swimming pool at perfect temperature, lovely artistic buildings, warm gracious helpful staff. We especially appreciated the services of Cecy who very patient and attentive to our needs.
Somewhat noisy because we happened to be there during a major celebration at a nearby church. But I cannot deny that the church celebrations were also a splendid part of visiting Mexico.

The place is an oasis, celestial, wonderful people at your service, super comfortable and inviting room, great pool and truly the best food in town.
I can't think of a thing except perhaps it's not the best vista in town. But it's a close enough walk to town, down and back up a hill, that it's all cool.

Quinta Ciela is a truly remarkable experience. Beautiful quiet grounds only blocks from the town center, a striking common space (with huge living room, eating areas, etc.) It feels like a true home - not a temporary lodging - thoughtfully filled with beautiful art, with quiet spaces for simply sitting and enjoying the day. The beds and pillows are super comfortable and you feel like you are taking a truly luxury vacation. Our 3-night stay there was the highlight of our trip that included Tepotlan, Malinalco, and Taxco, and the place encourages one to lay back, relax and enjoy. The owner, Esperanza, is a wonderful host that helps you appreciate the beautiful history of the place where you are staying. She and her staff were always ready to go out of the way to help. We'd love to take friends there for another vacation just so they could enjoy as well.
Everything was great.

The location of the hotel is splendid. You could look at those Malinalco cliffs clearly from your room, providing you get the room with a landscape view. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The hotel also has a spacious lawn, perfect if you´re bringing your pet along.
Please understand that the concept of the hotel is a "quiet weekend getaway". Hence, you will not find too many facilities inside the room. The internet is stable all around the hotel though.

The pool is kept at an steady 25C
My room was very spacious
The garden is truly amazing
Our co-host, Carla, was wonderful and accommodating to our needs
The toiletries in the room were fantastic
I witnessed a couple occasions where the owner reprimanded a couple members of the staff in public. I don’t think that’s right.
There’s no tv in the room (I don’t mind not having tv but at £100 per night, tv & a kettle in the room should be a must)
I paid for a “mountain view room”. There was not such a thing. The mountain view was outstanding but from the pool.

Its a beautiful old traditionally mexican house! They built a small building next to it where they have a few rooms for the hotel guests.
They have people in the kitchen all day cooking traditional and home cooked meals. Its beautiful and traditional and the property is great!
The curtains don’t close completely, you can hear people in the other rooms.

Staff was excellent. Facilities were good !

The Quinta is a fantastic little place to stay in Malinalco, secured, the staff there who attended us was nice and very serviceable. I think that the best thing of the Quinta is that even though the property might have tons of years, it feels super clean. Me and my future wife will defiantly go back for a quick romantic getaways.
4.3
The grounds are beautiful and the location is convenient for walking into the town. The staff were nice and the bed comfortable.
The cost of food and drink was astronomical! Two small coffees for 190 pesos was quite a sting at checkout. No food was offered to our toddler at the included breakfast. There was a questionable "mountain view” as we were in the ground floor looking at the driveway. The room is not well sound insulated, so we were kept awake by noisy neighbours.
