It was a pleasant stay and will come again.

Location and cleanliness. staffs are superb especially at the reception and restaurant. Very friendly. The evening complimentary tea break is awesome with plenty of food.

beautiful and serene

Amberdake is so relaxing and serene. the beds very comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and there’s some activities included , like hiking, afternoon tea, campfire and cooking demonstrations. Amberdale is located high a top the side of a hill and the Taos there is bumpy. it is out of town and there is no local shops close, also they do not serve alcoholic beverages, but you can bring and consume in your room. the food is delicious, although expensive by local prices, but expected in such a nice setting.

Calm and relaxing place, all staff where extremely gentle, helpful and attentive. Special mentions to Hilary and Visnuh who demonstrated really supportive and on the top of every aspect of our stay

Wonderful

Location was excellent. Staff especially Ayyapan at reception and Madhavan were extremely helpful. Chef in the restaurant was very accommodating to all our requests as well.

Room temperature. Air conditioning is still required even in Munnar. The fan was not enough.

Good but could have been better

Love the location on top of the hill. Decent facilities and good food. They have bonfire and tea tasting in the evening which is a good experience.

The rooms are not soundproof so if you have families living on your floor it can get very noisy and disturbing. There are no transportation facilities at night so you have to rely on Uber and rickshaw but because the property is a bit far away it gets difficult to commute After Sunset. They don’t have alcohol license so you have to arrange your own booze.

Beautiful scenery of Munnar..

The location of the hotel gives the guests a wonderful view. I would recommend this place for the view.

It is a difficult 10minutes drive to the hotel due to the location. Not possible to move around after the dark..

Ok, but could be so much better ..

View from the room balcony and restaurant was spectacular. Good sized room. Staff were very friendly. Decent WiFi and TV.

Just felt like it lacked a bit of maintenance - some of the plaster in the room was blown out, was some mould on the ceiling of the bathroom. Pillows smelled a bit damp. Bit more TLC required - all could be quite easily fixed . In the restaurant the a la carte options were pretty limited, and everything took an eternity to deliver. Slowest service we've had in our month in India. Breakfast ok, but again most other places we've stayed have done better.

The approach road leading on the property is really poor and needs a lot of work.
