More Than Just a Stay.

We loved the comfort and the thoughtful fitting out of the cottage, the serenity and beauty of the setting and the friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts, Tim and Michelle. A special private tasting of their own wines was a bonus. (Their wines are fabulous and well worth the awards they are already receiving.)

We had a fabulous time and would love to come back again some time.

Everything. Location, facilities, views, friendliness, resident dogs very well behaved and friendly.

No screens on most windows and external doors. We had to shut up at night time because of the beetles coming inside.

Wine, walks, truffles, cheese, birds... and a cute dog to play with!

Gorgeous 1920's cottage in the heart of a working winery and close to many other great wineries. We also love that the location is so close to the walks in Girraween.

The Twisted Gum cottage was an awesome place to stay for the weekend.

We loved the accommodation and the location. It was absolutely perfect! The hosts were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Warm and welcoming cottage, gorgeous outlook and close to all local attractions.

The location was conveniently located close to local wineries and also to the heart of Stanthorpe. The actual cottage was beautifully secluded from any main roads and noise whilst overlooking a gorgeous dam and grape vines. Just so beautiful. The hosts were most helpful in suggesting local restaurants and wineries to visit during our stay.

No improvements needed. Everything was perfect.

Location was good close to vineyards and so quiet. Cottage was very comfortable and hosts friendly and helpful.

An awesome family friendly place to relax and spend quality time together.

The dog Koda was a constant companion for our little girls. We went out with the owners during their harvest and felt very welcome in doing so. The location was beautiful.

best stay ever owners wonderful koda their dog I loved

private clean had everything we wanted , plenty of firewood which having the fire was extra romantic , great showers can’t wait to stay again

Right up their with the best places we have stayed on the Granite Belt.

We are long time customers of Twisted Gum but its the first time we have stayed in their cottage. Our stay was as good and satisfying as all the wines we have purchased there over the years.

A dusting of snow would have been nice.

A very homely and comfortable cottage in gorgeous surrounds, made for a relaxing getaway.

Gorgeous location, scenic and quiet, but quite close to a cafe and some local amenities. Loved the washpool eco soaps and products.

It was a very well equipped cottage that was clean with comfy beds, I can’t really fault anything.

Excellent

The location was fantastic and the view from the deck through the grape vines to the lake was magical and captured wine country. Loved the fire place with ample firewood. Kitchen was well equipped. Gus the local dog stopped us getting lost on the walk to flat rock.

The couch in the lounge was very uncomfortable and needed new straps under the cushions. Otherwise it was great. Lovely collection of art on the walls as well.

Twisted Gum Cottage is beautiful. located on a vineyard. The hosts are thoughtful and Gus is amazing

Everything... From driving through vineyard to get to Twisted Gum Cottage. Warm friendly greeting from owners Michelle & Tim. Meeting their 4 legged guide "GUS" who took us to "Flat Rock" located on the property with incredible views. Complimentary bottle of their own wine :) The cottage is clean, tidy, cosy, with a deck that overlooked part of the property, beds were really comfortable. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk which was lovely. It was such a relaxing wine-down time we didn't want to leave. Have already recommended to friends and family. Thank you Michelle, Tim & Gus x

We were very happy with everything, perhaps a few adirondack chairs outside. At night there's a zillion stars to gaze upon it will blow your mind!!!
