Location on a quiet bay
Unreliable wifi

The pair running it were Kiwi in all the best ways. Location on the bay unforgettable.
All good.

Everything was super clean. As the place is a bit far from the city centre, you will definitely need a car.
If you like quiet and nature, the place is really nice. You can sleep listening to the splashes of the waves.
There is a great BBQ place next to the cabins.
The toilets are a bit far when it's raining. You will need an umbrella, a raincoat, or a car. Otherwise you might get wet on the way. If it is windy, cold and raining, it might be a hassle to go to the toilets.

We loved the location being by the water. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room and Facilities were clean. We also loved how it is a family friendly place.

Visiting from Brisbane & Stayed two nights with my partner and 3yo - amazing spot right on the water!
Cabin has everything you’d need-with clean shared amenities.
We were not advised at check-in that we needed to pay for hot showers so had cold showers on the first night which isn’t ideal with a 3yo. Fan wasn’t working in the cabin and no kettle.

front the beach
web site doesn’t have pictures of the room “chalé” and for me it is not chalé . the 2 bed are separate and was raining so hard to go another room

In one of the cabins. Had nice views and felt private. I thought the price was reasonable. liked the lovation and has nice access to walks.
No shower in cabin.

great location . close to the sea. great bush walks available around the park.

The location is beautiful
The cabin was smelly, from air freshener product and from the dirty long term unwashed bed cover. You needed to take your own sheets, and towels or hire. The water in the cabin was cold. The showers in the shower block were cold or cost $1.00 for 6 minutes. They did not inform/advertise the additional charges for hot water.

The privacy of the place. Beautiful views....

Great location with views and a nice walk.
Basic accommodation, but fine for the price

When they say right on the water, they mean it. We were treated to 2 incredible sunsets from the comfort of our room and deck outside for the 2 nights we were there. The studio is perfectly sized for 2 people, and the kitchen well equipped for any cooking. We loved the views and serenity of just sitting watching the sea and listening to the smalls waves crashing just outside.
Not their fault, but cellphone reception was a bit temperamental in the area.

We liked the cabins, it was so great and warm.
The fact that going outside in the middle of night to use the restrooms with 2 children is quite an adjustment but other than that everything was great .

Clean and the atmosphere was great...cant beat the sea right at your door.

What Beautiful little spot of paradise in the coromandel that i didn't even know existed!! Our little cabin was up the back on a hill amazing view over the bay and very private! It was perfect and comfortable inside with everything we needed. The owner was friendly easy going and accomodating. I loved it so much here I'll be bringing my kids back next time and staying longer! Thankyou.
Dont go here if u expect to be using your phone alot...Terrible reception and wifi, but hey that could also be a good thing being in such a beautiful location... also bring water bottles etc ....there was no running water in or near our cabin - a hose or outdoor tap would of been great to save the walk with torch to the kitchen block for water for the kettle etc.
