Mellow wooden hostel in calm neighborhood, but no washer, tub, lockers or stove. 17 min walk2station

Nice calm atmosphere and location, safe area, lots of places to eat nearby, friendly staff, respectful, nice common area.

No washer, no tub, have to pay for towels, no bathroom sink (use kitchen sink), no hooks in toilet room, no locks on bedroom doors, no cubbies/lockers for bags, long walk from main station.

Hostal cápsula en Tokio 10/10

Alojamiento muy cómodo y hospitalario. Cuenta con todo lo necesario para hacer de tu estadía en Tokio de lo más agradable. Daisuke, el administrador, tiene una disposición 10/10 para ayudarte en lo que necesites sobre la ciudad. Puedes comunicarte perfectamente en inglés y en cualquier momento.

A nice trip.

I like the atmosphere of everyone sharing the journey together, and the boss is very kind. But I was tired after climbing Mount Fuji, so I went to rest early.

Small space but good to have a rest.

The best thing about this hostel is that it’s smalI. Not many people going in and out. I slept very well and felt confortable my entire stay. I had a good rest at this place. The owner is kind and available 🫶🏼

It’s quite a walk from the station and with the summer weather it’s a bad side. Also the place got only one toilet & one shower , which is fine but It should be cleaned a little more often :) the bed covers could be better too.

Beautiful, safe, and peaceful!

Kagaribi is located in a perfect suburban neighborhood, just a short train ride into central Tokyo. It was so nice to spend the day working/sightseeing/spending time with friends and then retiring to a quiet neighborhood in the evening to unwind. It's so cozy it felt like an extension of my own home just a few days in. Daisuke runs the property perfectly and somehow all of the fellow guests are kind, clean, and so interesting too. I already miss the quiet morning routines I had in Adachi in and around the guesthouse and I'll probably miss it until I rebook! Truly an affordable and relaxing experience. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Worth every penny when staying in a traditional Japanese Ryokan in Tokyo.

Loved this traditional Japanese Ryokan. It was simple yet everything I could want out of my stay when I come to Japan. Host was accommodating, the place / room was clean and comfortable, the area was quaint. Would highly recommend!

Soul-nourishing and unforgettable experience

The guesthouse is nestled in a safe, quiet neighbourhood in Kita Senju. I enjoyed the peaceful and leisurely walk back to the dorm and could find my way without google maps after 2-3 nights. The host, Daisuke, is pleasant, sincere and friendly. The guesthouse is warm and cosy and feels like you’re staying in a friend’s house. The water is hot when you shower and there is a microwave to heat up food from convenience stores. Best of all are the mix of international travellers you meet during the stay here. All of us hung out in the common area for some nights and it was lovely to meet people from different countries and backgrounds. Would definitely recommend to the solo backpacker or traveller ✨

Thank you for the service!

The location is very good and convenient to enter the subway station, restaurant, mini-market, shopping store. The staff is so friendly & helpful.

The room should be cleaned everyday, I stayed 3 nights without tidying-up service and it was quite uncomfortable. They should include the towels or tissues in the room.

Superb

Kagaribi is a cozy traditional style guesthouse in a very quiet neighbourhood, around 15 min by foot to Kita-Senju station, from which you can get anywhere in Tokyo. :)) Daisuke the host is super friendly and the common area is very chill, everyone was very nice and our small group of friends enjoyed our stay here very much <3

Exceptional

Its very clean. Everything looks so stylish. The kitchen is quite modern and well equipped with all the cooking utensils. The beds are very comfortable and the common room is quite neat and cozy.

Maybe there could be more towels around the kitchen and the sinks near the bathrooms.

Not for the first time in Tokyo

The shower is good. I loved the neighborhood.

Dorm is too dark and very small size. Being a japanese wooden house you can hear everything is happening in the whole house.
