Excellent location, friendly staff, great value for money
Some sinks for washing / shaving would be great!

Perfect place to visit the national park. Great food, vegetarian options. Attentive staff. Basic, but clean bathroom with hot shower. Wifi at communal area. And we loved meeting the Elefant at the campsite while feeling totally safe.
The matrasses in our tent were not the best.

Location
Too pricey for what you get

I stayed for one night at a cottage during my stay at QENP. The lodge is inside the park, only a 5min drive from Kazinga channel. The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom was spacious. Full board was included (two courses for lunch, three for dinner) and the quality of the food was good. Overall, I had a nice stay.
The drain of the shower wasn't working well and the shower didn't have warm water in the morning.

Everything!! The local Elephant who walks through the camp. The sounds of the bush at night, I even encountered a Hyena who walked right past me

The staff was extremely kind and helpful...food was a lot and delicious. Elefants were frequently visiting the camp grounds
4.5
Amazing service with helpful and welcoming staff. There was delicious and plentiful food, with plenty of options to cater for dietary requirements. We enjoyed the hot showers. Great location in the park, close to safari.

Everything!!!
This place is like a heaven. Food was excellent, staff super friendly and helpful. We saw many animals passing through the camp.
Nothing, everything was perfect. And the sound of the birds in the morning is unforgettable

The location of Engiri Lodge is great. Very close to the park entrance - close enough to even watch elephants while having your breakfast. The tents are simple and clean, food is very good. We enjoyed our stay a lot and found the place to charge fair prices for what is offered. We organized a guide for a game drive through the lodge which was also a great experience.
I unfortunately can't recommend the nature walk. It turned out to be a walk along the main road, trying to dodge speeding cars. No nature, no animals. Not what we had expected or booked. Everything else was a great experience though and highly recommendable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the engiri game lodge! The staff is super friendly, helping out with tour arrangements and transportation! The food was just delicious! We even had an elephant coming through the camp, which was so fun to watch!

Loved our lodge! We have been on several safaris in Kenya and this was our best experience by far!
The Wi-Fi only worked in the main lodge not in our rooms

Upon arrival we were greeted with delicious cold fruit juice.
The dining area is on an upper level, covered with open walls. A great vantage point to watch birds and free-roaming elephants. Our meals were all well prepared and tasteful. Chilled water was available upon request.
The large canvas tent was covered with a thatch roof. The beds were quite comfortable. No fan or other means to cool off in the hot evenings. We opted to leave our front tent flaps open throughout the night. It was safe enough as the grounds are patrolled by security in the event of roaming elephants through the compound.
They had a small area of souvenirs that were very reasonably priced.
Wi-Fi was only available in the main lodge.
Restrooms and showers were in a separate building but kept immaculate.
We had a few pieces of laundry which we felt we were greatly overcharged for.

A very good lodge with an excellent location between Lake Edward and Lake George. The room/cabin was very nice and clean. The food was excellent, and it was wonderful to have all meals included in the price. We got help to organize a drive in the park and a spectacular boattrip were we came close to the animals. Really good value for money!
It would have been even better if there was wifi connection in the cabin.

Friendly staff, good food and the rooms were good and comfortable
It’s somehow far from the main road

Great location and good food.

Engiri was fabulous, the lodge was terrific and had everything I needed for a perfect stay. The staff were really attentive, and there was always somebody waiting to escort me to the restaurant when needed (as the wildlife, including hippos and elephants, often pass close by). There's plenty to do nearby, a safari on Queen Elizabeth National Park, chimpanzee tracking in the rainforest, and highly recommended, a visit to the local orphanage and village where you can see demonstrations of coffee making, banana gin and vanilla production.
Highly recommended!
Nothing!

Perfect location in queen elizabeth np, we saw a hippo and an elephant on the campsite. Lovely staff.
Food is well presented, but is not tasty. Bats (and bat-dung) in the washrooms.

Best resort in Uganda. Good WIFI, warm bath water, clean bed.

This is where the backpacker gets spoiled. You book a cheap tent with full board and get welcome drinks, hot towels and overall luxury lodge treatment. For me this was the best price/value in 5 weeks East Africa.
The shared sanitary area outside would deserve some more love.

Good breakfast, friendly staff
4.5
great location for Queen Elizabeth (would recommend Judith as a guide for game drive!), good safari tents, lovely restaurant with nice views
would have liked for safari tents to have had ‘en suite’ next to tent as bugs and other wildlife made walking to the toilet a bit unpleasant

The location and staff at Engiri lodge are so amazing and provided us with an incredible experience for Queen Elizabeth Park! We stayed in the large tent and it was very comfortable, we could even hear elephants and hippos at night! The lodge itself is beautiful, the facilities are clean. Innocent was our guide for the 2 game drives we did and he was incredible! Would definitely recommend for anyone staying around QEP.
Nothing. Everything about the stay was fantastic.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PLACE TO STAY. We arrived at night so we had zero clue how the environment would look like but oh my gosh, it is BEAUTIFUL. We had one of the newer wooden huts, everything perfect, hot shower, great beds. The breakfast was really good, afterwards the park is there, i mean like there there. You are in the Queen elizabeth park, if you are scared of wild animals this place is maybe not for you, they wander around your hut at night!!!! so cool!!! The diner exist of 2 different dishes. During the breakfast/lunch/diner just look around, you will only see the park.
Nothing, hands down one of the coolest places i stayed

Amazinggg!!Best Hotel in Uganda. The staff was super nice, the room and the bathroom were big, clean and very elegant. Food gas very good and abundant. We had dinner with an elephant!!
4.5
Breakfast with view on elephants. Guards (Ben in particular) are super-friendly, they can take you on a tour of the surroundings (to scenic fishing spot on the river, while running into pumbas, elephants, buffaloes and/or antelopes (Ugandan cob) if you're lucky. Organized game drive for good price with excellent, very knowledgeable guide (Innocent) who strived to make sure we had the best possible experience, finding among other things a beautiful male lion by constant communication with other guides. At night a campfire can be lit on demand, and guards will accompany you anytime after dark, even for a few meters, to make sure you are not alone when running into hippos, elephants or buffaloes.
The coffee! (take the hot chocolate)
There are 2 types of tents (basic mattress or bigger tent with beds) but wasn't' superclear when booking (on Booking.com) that there was a difference.
4.5
Excellent location overall, animals coming through the camp, and we felt very safe with the security staff. The manager was exceptionally friendly, great people skills. The food was fairly good. Excellent dancing from the children in the evening.
The rest of the staff other than the manager were less friendly.
4.5
great location , just a short drive away from QE national park and the boat safari
Think I was over charged when I bought dinner for a colleague and for a nature walk.

I booked for a group of 17 people. We had a lodge with a private bathroom and tents. We were entertained by a group of children dancing traditional dances. The dinner and breakfast were very nice. In the tents we heard a hippo and some of us even saw one close up at night.
The bathroom in the tent area is very basic. It has one sink and two toilet for all the tents.
