Loved our stay here & would highly recommend. Only improvement would be slightly better wifi!

Really cool right on the beach, great room and great breakfast. Really helpful staff who were super nice

Couldn’t be helped but there was a lot of construction going on outside the property which slightly ruined the vibe when going out in the evening etc.

Good

Staff was very nice and helpful; they helped us organize a canoe tour and gave us a lot of advice on places to eat and things to do. The whole garden is beautiful and full of nice hammocks and benches to hang. Room was very spacious, and air conditioning was working perfectly. I also liked that there was an outdoor shower and a rack for hanging towels. It is a convenient 10 mins walk from the train station and a 30 mins work from town.

We arrived shortly before check-in time and our room was not ready. That was totally fine by us, but we asked if we could stay on the property grounds (they have a beautiful garden with plenty hammocks, and it was low season..) and they said no, that we had to come back later. We were very tired and also a bit sick, and it was incredibly how, so asked again politely, and made it clear that we just wanted to sit in the garden and did not need the room, but they were unmoved. I am sorry to say I really did not like that and did not understand why we couldn't just hang out there? We ended up just sitting at the beach in front of the property (there's nothing really right around it). I'll say aside from this incident, staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was abundant but set, no choices were offered besides coffee or milk. The garden was beautiful but sadly we couldn't enjoy it as the mosquitos were probably the most aggressive I encountered during my India trip (they were pretty bad almost everywhere for me thought). The location is right by the beach but there's little around it, so for dinner you'll want to always get a tuck-tuck to town and back. Walking is fine but it can become long and there's almost none around after dark (it felt perfectly safe during the day).

amazing location and comfortable stay !

in one word - the host Daniela was so warm and hospitable. Always smiling and took so much care of my mother and me. I had the most memorable trip. amazing location on the beach beautiful sunset - breathtakingly beautiful lovely personalised breakfast ! glad to meet Amy !

I loved my room and was sad to leave this place!

This property is a quiet little paradise right by the beach in lovely gardens. Rooms with breezy verandahs have been tastefully built in the local style. Wifi is generally OK. The owner and staff are kind and attentive with good suggestions for things to do, all easily accessible by auto rickshaw, often serviced by trusted known drivers. Station is close by. Breakfast and afternoon coffee included.

There is no restaurant on site so lunch and dinner have to be found in the town or quite a long walk away, opposite the main beach. A new motorway is currently under construction nearby so it’s not a very pleasant or scenic walk either.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay and many unforgettable moments at Alleppey Beach Garden. Daniela & Jackson welcomed us in the beautiful accommodation, were helpful at all times and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable! Thank you!

Such a lovely guest house and hosts. You are well looked after here and the hospitality is outstanding. Rooms are beautifully decorated with high standard furnishings and incredibly clean. The beach is so close and perfect for a morning swim. The breakfast is also really yummy! Daniela, Raji and Jackson are very welcoming, helpful and friendly hosts.

It's a bit of a walk to the nearest restaurant. Short tuk tuk ride for rs70.

What an amazing place

The place is quiet directly lying on the beach. You get wonderful continental or Indian breakfast. Rooms are large and very well sustained (new building). A nice garden surrounding the appartments with shadow and hammock. The lodger is introducing an authentic backwatertour with contact to local families.

We only stayed for 1 night but wish it was longer. Daniela and Jackson looked after us very well. The rooms were clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated and the garden was a peaceful haven. we would recommend and 100% stay again.Thank you!!

Gorgeous, this is the perfect place to stay for a peaceful, wholesome and fun time, wonderful hosts.

Alleppey Beach Garden, is a tranquil, beautiful place by the sea, run by Daniella and Rajji who are fantastic hosts. The room is comfortable, super clean and with everything that you need for a restful stay. There is indeed a beautiful beach garden where you can have breakfast around amazing plants and surroundings. Our hosts took time to help us with any requests and recommend places to go, so friendly and good fun. I highly recommend a stay here and the breakfasts are lush.

I wish that we could have stayed longer as we had such a fantastic time.

Alleppey beach garden is well located directly at the beach and a 10 mins walk away from the railway station. Rooms and hangout area are outstanding well maintained and cozy. You’ll love it to chill here all day!Team is incredible friendly and will help you anytime you’ll need something.

Clean, comfortable and welcoming

Clean and comfortable room, great bathroom and hot shower, lovely terrace to sit out on overlooking the beach with great view for sunset. Daniela was such a lovely host and really helpful with directions, local info and booking day trip / taxis etc. Made me feel really welcome and safe as a solo female traveller. Great breakfast - fresh fruit, omelette, toast and endless tea/coffee.

The directions to the property weren’t that accurate and I struggled to find it without getting someone to come and meet me.

Great location next to the beach. Daniella is a great host, and Jackson is very helpful and sweet. Rejith, the co-owner, is very nice; the story of how they built this project is inspiring.

Not much to dislike. Once the restaurant is up and running, this little gem will be next level.

quiet, lovely hosts, we would stay again

Everything, Lovely quiet place, breakfast was lovely, pancakes or omelette, with coffee and tea and fruit. room is huge and the wet room is bigger than my kitchen at home! we would stay again. Daniela answered all my emails prior to arrival, bearing in mind it was mid corona crisis, and Jackson is a great help on everything, we stayed an extra night (thankfully) and if we hadn't had to leave India I reckon it may have been another. Local restaurant Dreamers was ok for snacks, but for dinner we'd recommend Cafe Catamaran, a short tuk ride away, which Jackson will book for you.

You take your chances with the sea as its pretty rough most of the time we were there, you'd have to venture beyond the surf and with no lifeguards we didnt fancy it.

Lovely host, attentive informative wonderful staff ( including Emmy the dog ) best pancakes ever for breakfast. Absolutely wonderful, highly recommended, we will be back. A quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of town. Close to the train station.

Top experience in India - do not search more just book it!

It is not often that I rate the place for 10 in Booking.com but this place leaves no doubt - it is strong 10. Location is absolutely perfect if you want to stay at the beach. Just after the gate you find wide and nice beach where you can walk, swim and do whatever people can do on the beach. The city is bit distant but you can easily reach it in 15 minutes with tuk-tuk. 10 minutes beach walk you will find excellent restaurant "Dreamers" which was the best place for enjoying the Indian food we had during the whole trip. The room had a perfect ocean view - the window is wide so you feel you are almost at the beach while staying in the room. Everything was very clean and well thought. And you feel the spirit of the owner in every detail and any time of your stay. Really top experience if you are not expecting Hilton type of luxury but prefer something with human size and spirit.

Cannot find anything - me and my teenager boys were enthusiastic about the place.

Everything, from incredibly friendly hosts to a yummy traditional Kerala breakfast. Daniella is extremely helpful and will arrange everything for you according to your taste and with much appreciated practical advice.
