Bad experience.

Room door was not working.Anyone can open the door .Windows cannot be locked properly.Intercom phone not working.Price is very high but not worth.

Rooms doors and windows cannot be closed .

Nice and cosy

The property is absolutely unique…if you are looking for a stay in a heritage property, this is the ideal one. This property has a very old charm. The staffs are really nice and helpful.

Though the property is old but little touch up is required in the bathrooms, especially the fittings and fixtures as many of it are broken. The property needs deep cleaning as well.

Got upgrade because of mosquitoes

As my original room did have too many mosquitoes, I got a free upgrade to a room with no mosquitos at all and this room was perfect! The whole hotel area is really beautiful decorated, the pool area great for relaxing, the food great and the distance to the beach is very close. Also I want to mention the great hotel staff, who were really friendly and my driver Firoz, who drove me very confident and safe to different places such as an Elephant Park.

As they leave all unbooked rooms open the whole time, mosquitos are free to go everywhere. This should be overthinked.

The hotel seems to be an old palace. It was amazing to see the architecture. The beach was right across the road. Bathroom was clean and we were provided with toiletries. Dinner was good. For lunch, there was not much options so we went to Ramada resort which had good options. We wanted nut free food. There is a tourism police station next to this place.

Not much parking available for customers as we had to use the beach parking. Not much places to eat food around the hotel, hence had to take the car and drive to the town. Traffic was really bad as drive from hotel to ramada hotel took an hour. Suggest take an auto instead of car.

Definitely would stay there again.

We booked 3 rooms side by side and the were only 4 rooms attached to a very big hall. We felt the whole place belonged to us. The building is 175years old, very antique feeling. Beds were majestic. Staffs were the key to making our stay comfortable, they practically consented to everything we asked for. We were there exactly during the world football finals and were able to see the match at the beach across the hotel, wonderful experience.

Roads leading to the hotel were dusty. New road under construction. First day we had 3 or 4 power cuts, though short (lasted about 10min each). They said it was due to the road construction. So we assume it is a temporary thing.

Great place for couples or families wanting a different experience, with a beach and a pool nearby

Amazing venue, had a great time with family. This was the second time we went there. Staff is excellent. Food is good too. Pool and other facilities are good. beach is very close too. Has an earthy old world charm.

Breakfast could have been better. Very less options.

Excellent location, neat and spacy rooms with aesthetic decor and nice pool.

Food service is very slow and can be little better, also food taste is very average. No much options for the free breakfast provided.
