Beautiful boutique hotel

The included breakfast was delicious with lots of choices and they would also cook eggs for you upon request. The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated. The location is lovely and it was so easy to walk around the town and walk to restaurants.

There weren't really any problems for me. It took us a minute to figure out how to check in and where to go but once we figured it out everything was awesome. Our room was on the third floor so we had to go up a couple flights of stairs with our luggage which wasn't a problem for us but might be hard for some people.

The breakfast served at this hotel was undeniably a highlight of my stay. The staff was attentive and friendly.

we had such a great time at The Pines! The hotel is really beautiful, cozy and offers everything you need during your stay in Brasov! The stuff was so friendly and helped us with everything! we will definitely come back! thank you Anna for taking care of us! <3

Not worth RON 650/night per room. I would recommend that you pay a maximum of RON 400/night

A fair stay in Brasov

The rooms are quite spacious and nicely decorated and the villa is situated in a quiet area. The staff was really nice and helpful and breakfast had a good variety of food to choose from and very tasty too. It’s a 20 min walk to the city center which can be pretty enjoyable but note that you need to go up and down the hill.

The rooms are not very well isolated and you can hear noises from neighbors and overall the bathrooms looked a bit used (maybe with a more thorough cleaning, it would look better). There was also a problem with the hot water when (I assume) other guests were using it too, as the temperature wasn’t stable - probably the heating system doesn’t support several rooms using it simultaneously. Some of the heaters seemed not to work either, however for us it was enough that one of the 2 rooms was working as it produced quite enough heat. We did however notify the staff to have a look at them.

Great breakfast, location is quiet with nice scenery. The rooms are really nice designed. Location is very good for a visit in Brasov or for a ski vacation.

Overall it was a very nice experience. We loved the room and the view and the amenities.

The room was very nice with a great view. It had a small desk where i could work from and wifi which was great. Also there was a small kitchen with a fridge, which were both very nice and practical. The breakfast was really good and diverse and the breakfast area was very big and with a lot of light. I also worked from there for a few hours and it was a nice space. The staff was very helpful and had a great attitude.

We had one small mishap with the room when we got there, but it was fixed the following day and the staff was very helpful and resourceful.

Stylish hotel in Brasov

The room was beautiful, amazing views of the mountains. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great.

The air conditioning was really ineffective and as a result the room was extremely hot. There's a lot of glass, so the room heats up like a greenhouse during the day. That's fine if you can cool it down quickly with the air conditioning, but it just didn't really work at all and I would say they need to fix that issue ASAP. Personally, I don't like wet rooms because the bathroom floor essentially becomes a death trap for small children after anyone has a shower and I was travelling with two of them! I don't know why you wouldn't just put a shower cubicle in. Finally, it's located in a residential area. Nice enough surroundings and not far at all from the centre of Brasov (15-20 minute walk or 5 minute Uber) but if you are the kind of person who likes to be able to pop out to the shop for a cold beer or bottle of water or whatever then be aware that you can't do that. There are so many choices in the centre of Brasov that it's hard to see why you would particularly choose to stay in this one. All in all it's a really nice place but it didn't represent very good value for money for us based on the reasons above. Maybe I'd feel differently if we had stayed in the winter, it probably lends itself more to a cosy winter experience!
