It was nice for a one night stay

Beautiful location

The rooms were more for younger ppl, or families with kids, they were on the smaller side with not much space for two older ppl to move around each other to dress

Family friendly, Convenient

We enjoyed our stay at this family-friendly accommodation. The kitchen is bright and airy. The atmosphere is nice. Cong Village is within walking distance,, but there is no footpath. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful.

There should be facilities in the kitchen so that guests segregate compost, recyclables and other waste. Otherwise, it's impossible to figure out the system, and not send stuff to landfill. Guests are from several countries, so it would be nice to see the signs in French and German, as well as Irish, so that the place is more welcoming.

Very good

Lovely surroundings, very close to Cong village and Ashmore Castle. Good facilities, rooms are small but clean and tidy.

It’s ment to be a child friendly accommodation but this isn’t true kids couldn’t even kick a ball without been giving out to.

Stay away! Don't book!!!!!

Rude man! worst! He could have handled it in a kind manner. Very unpleasant old man! So if you are booking here, make sure you are super quiet or else he will run and knock loudly at your face and shout at your face! Believe me, the cheap price is not worth considering in booking this place. Paper thin walls😵‍💫

A good stop-over along the road through the Connemara

The room was big enough to welcome our family and its luggage. The kitchen was large enough (yet we were not many guests at the period of the year). The staff was friendly.

I would never book this place again.

Our vehicle went on fire on our way to the B&B and we had to cancel on the Sunday for a 2 night stay on Sunday and Monday. The B&B didn’t refund us any of our money, even for the second night.

The friendliest host

What an amazing host! She was super friendly and helpful and also the rest of the staff was nice. Kitchen was super spacious and well equipped.

It's also a campsite so everything was very spacious and not really easy to socialize in the common areas. Approx 30. Mins walk to the town centre

Don’t stay here

Not to much to like it’s very basic 1 star the pictures on Booking.com make it look good but the location to Cong was perfect and the amazing Ashford Castle is next door

Arrived quite late and was worried I was too late but I never felt more welcomed in any place I've stayed which was unreal considering the excellent price. The place was busy and fully booked out but excellent facilities and well set up. Can't say enough about how welcoming the owners/staff were at 10;30pm on a Saturday night.

The only negative I have is that when people get up during the night or come back late to/from any room, each door seems to slam shut due to the springs installed on them - its hard to describe howe loud this is. I originally thought it was just a rude guest doing it repeatedly but didnt seem to be the case. I understand the purpose of these is to close the doors but I'd suggest to either remove these or get the slow closing gentle ones installed. Unfortunately it made a good nights sleep impossible as this occurred at least every 30 mins which was disappointing. This is the only negative though and this place is excellent value for money with brilliant owners/staff.
