Every morning there is freshly baked bread. Everything is available in the communal kitchen/living room. The tranquility of the accommodation and the beautiful view of Pico were fantastic.

The localisation is amazing, view to Mount Pico, near a beach, with farm animals.

stunning sea view location on a lush eco- farm

The farm is really adorable and has an awesome view of Mt. Pico on a clear day. We came towards the end of the growing season, so there wasn’t as much produce available, but they had fresh bread and other goodies for our stay.
There isn’t very much nearby in terms of restaurants. Even though they have bikes available, it seems that it would be better to have a car while on the island.

Everything! The kitchen was gorgeous and making meals and eating them while watching the sun set over Pico was one of the highlights of our entire trip. We loved that we could borrow bikes, and we also loved the beach near by. The owners were so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and large. Everything was perfect!

your own private little “bungalow”. we loved how quiet it was.
there is not much nearby, so you’ll have to make sure you get to go to a supermarket. the supermarkets are pretty far and not too appealing.

The views to Pico island, the sunsets from the terrace, the proximity to the beach (where you are basically alone), Miguel (the owner, very helpful planning the visit around the island), the animals and the organic food you can grab in the morning for breakfast.
If you are looking for a good and reliable internet connection, you might find some issues. This was not our case so we did not have much problem with it.

Amazing view of Mount Pico.
Nothing to mention.

Amazing and cute, very relaxing! wished we would have stayed there longer. Love the possibility to pick strawberries in the morning.
Nothing! Well, you can’t order dinner or so there, but you can borrow bikes and go to a few restaurants that are about 2 km away.

It is obvious the owners put a lot of care into Make It Happen Farm. There are no words to describe the peaceful experience of being there. It’s a very worthwhile place to stay.
it’s not possible to not like this place/experience.

Fantastic setup with smaller individual room and a large kitchen and living room that was a common space. Beautiful view of Pico (when the weather is clear). Great large porch to enjoy a beverage. Breakfast provided was bread, eggs from the on-site chickens, Jorjense cheese (which is now my favorite) and jam....perfect!
No toiletries, not even hand soap. You will need to make a trip to the mini-market. There aren't any restaurants, bars, or shops within walking distance.

We loved the ever changing view of Pico, freshly made bread, picking citrus fruits & seeing Fiona the donkey with our son each morning. I also really enjoyed talking to the owner about regenerative & organic farming.
Leaving…we miss Make it Happen Farm & Açores already

Fresh bread, eggs and fruits in the morning after waking up with views of the sea and mount Pico, beautiful fields with all kinds of crops and herbs and of course the friendly owners and Pipoka (the dog, who greets you like an old friend)
Nothing at all

We liked to pick our fruit and vegetables from the farm to breakfast. The bread was delicious.
The shared spaces were really nice and designed beautifully as well as the room
The bathroom door is almost completely transparent which was weird and not very convenient.
The electric curtain was so noisy that if one of us woke up and wanted to go to out it was impossible without waking the other person up.

The place is just great! the location is very central, right in the middle of the island. The rooms are clean and with a nice view on Pico mountain, the kitchen is very spacious (and very nice looking too!). The best part was a freshly cooked bread every morning, together with butter, cheese, and jams, done by the owner. There are also a few products you can buy, and the space is fully yours to use for lunches/ dinners.
Nothing really.

Animals, homemade bread for breakfast, eggs from their hens, great combination of nature and design

The view! Good wine and snacks available. Great facilities, including good working airco and nice shower. Friendly staff.
There was nothing we did not like, though we (as morning coffee lovers) recommend a small coffee machine in the room.

We were curious about a place with such great comments. We found out why in the first minutes interacting with the owners Lénia and Miguel.
The experience it’s just an hospitality lesson that should be taught on every hospitality class.
The place, the views, the owners story and knowledge about the surroundings are exactly what you’ll need.
The common areas are impeccably decorated and extremely functional and everything is done with good taste, which is obviously hard to define, but it’s definitely there.
Although there is no oficial breakfast option the owners leave you everyday fresh baked bread, home made jams of many kinds and their own produced eggs. You are also welcome to use the kitchen and barbecue area.
The rooms are functional, fully equipped, good water pressure and wi-fi both inside the rooms and the common areas.
The view is just incredible and it’s really easy to feel at home real fast. This is also a great place to work remotely if you have that option.
We definitely have great intentions of coming back again asap.

Interesting integration between hospitality and farming. Clean and comfortable rooms. An excellent common kitchen with jams and vegetables produced on the premises.
Freshly baked bread every morning!
Highly recommended.
Nothing really.
