It had a very comfy bed, very good for the drive the next day.

The accommodation cost had been grossly inflated, because the Mundi Mundi Bash was to start later in the week.
Although the room was accurately described as a"Budget Double" which I would rate as 2 1/2 stars but were charged 4 star price. The toilet and shower were terribly cramped. A larger person would have great difficulty using them. The kitchenette was inadequate, no bowls were supplied and dishes had to washed up in the same basin that was intended for hand washing after using the toilet.
Also the air conditioning power GPO outlet was faulty and did not work.

Sehr Urig, aber ok
Keine Beanstandung

The room was actually how it was described and it was a good price. Car spot out the front. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and gave recommendations about the town.
The access to the bathroom/shower recess is VERY small , but the information was honest about that.

We did not have breakfast

No breakfast
The woman manager was rude when I showed up early.
It was like she didn’t want my money.

The facilities are dated and could do with a bit of upgrading

The managers were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to park our camper trailer on site.
The room was cosy.

Bed was comfortable. coffee and tea provided but milk had been opened. Clean.
Room needed a complete upgrade. Facilities well worn and out of date. Toilet light in inappropriate place. Fridge very old and wardrobe etc almost non functional. Strip the place down and start again. Trees covering sign to The Lodge Motel and making it difficult to see.

Not much!
1. Very small room
2. Shower and toilet in separate 1/4 area where the door way was so small you had to enter sideways. When you used the toilet your legs touched the walls on both sides.
3. Impossible to regulate the temperature of the shower, you either froze or got scalded
4. Dreadful water pressure, shower was a dribble
5. The air conditioner did not work The nights very hot and stuffy. In the 40+ degree heat the room was a 24 hour sauna.
6. We asked for a larger room as soon as we saw it but there were were none. We tolerated it for 4 days but had to leave. We asked for a refund for our 5th night and got told NO! Left anyway and lost our money.
7. Room tired and in urgent need of renovations or demolition!

Our welcome was sincere and the inside rooms are special. The lodge is not only a motel but those rooms make you feel like you are in a true lodge.
The accommodation is within walking distance from the centre of town and the civic centre.
This accommodation has warmth and not just because of Broken Hill heat.
Nothing.
