The apartment was modern and fairly clean, with a balcony looking out over Avoriaz. In good snow conditions, you can totally ski in and out - it was a little wet when we were there so this wasn’t possible. The shower in the apartment is great and it’s nice and warm.
The apartment is really poorly stocked. There was no washing up liquid, coffee filters (despite there being a coffee machine), basic cupboard items (oil, salt, pepper etc), only a single roll of toilet paper and a single sponge for cleaning. These are all things that everyone staying in the apartment will need and likely are binning after leaving - not very eco-friendly. Considering the price of the apartment this was really disappointing.
There was a sofa bed and a double bed, but only one set of sheets was provided.

It was ok situated
the kitchen was not fullt equiped- there was no knife that was sharp, glasses weee missing and the drawer were not clean.
the host claimed the apt was fully renovated very recently but it did not look as such. the walls were dirty and the sofa was very buttered.
the apt was also extremely small, even for 3 ppl

Location is great - the studio is renovated and clean.
To me, far too small for 3 or 4 persons. This is a studio for 2 I would say. I had booked for 2 Adults and two teenagers - thinking teenagers would sleep in the bunk beds - and happy than one teenager could not come as there were no bunk beds in apt 1017.

The apartment was pleasant. It is tricky to find d at first. You need to go to floor 9. Walk along the corridor and take another lift to floor 10.
But the location is great for the town and skiing.
The kitchen isn't adequately stocked. Cutting board, knives that cut and enough coffee mugs pls. :)

good location, clean
Don’t think the sheets and towels should be an extra. this should be included in the stay.
a guide to using the hob would have been useful.

Great location and value for money. Staff were friendly, easy to work with and the property is refurbished to a nice standard.
Small/cramped for 3 men, although it says sleeps 4 people. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable.

Avoriaz is a great place to ski and the apartment is quite well located. The apartment has been nicely renovated and the owner responds to questions quickly and helpfully. There is a really good bakery and supermarkets 5 minutes away.
The bedrooms are tiny given the rental cost. We also had the unfortunate experience of the toilet door handle jamming shut (fixed by us borrowing a screwdriver and getting instructions on taking the fixture apart over the phone). Two towels in the welcome pack were damp and one was mouldy although new packs were provided the next day when we reported the issue. The Alpage 1 block is a little run down and one of the up escalators was out of action the whole week.

We were a family of four with two teenagers. Instructions for collecting the key and meeting David, the person in charge of handing the keys, were very clear and the attention was professional. We had a problem with the TV and it was fixed quickly.
The apartment is a standard one. It is located uphill from Avoriaz, in a quiet neighbourhood that we like very much and have repeatedly gone over the years, but this was the first time we staid at the "Alpage" apartment complex. The building has two exits at very different floors (ground floor and 5th floor on the uphill side, which was my family's preferred option), so it's easy to walk downtown to shop for groceries or directly to the ski piste. At the same time, this means that you may need to use two different elevators if you want to go to the ground floor. It has a view to the mountain and other apartments which was ok and nice to watch the blizzard. The balcony is relatively small and we did not use it because it was snowing quite heavily.
Another very important thing to know in terms of the location is that the building is located right next to the public automatic stairs, which are an excellent shelter to move in case of bad weather. This is good when the machines work, but you will need a bit of effort if not. The typical scenario is that only some of them work but, to be fair, it is much worse for many other apartments in Avoriaz where there is no stairs or shelter at all!
The apartment is very small but well-equipped, and we had everything we needed for our stay. It was recently renovated, so you have everything you expect for this type of apartment. Beds and pillows were comfortable.
As noted by other reviews, you will either need clean at the end or pay the cleaning fee, but this is quite standard for all apartments in the region so it's not like you can avoid the issue.
Since the ski lifts were closed, we did not really ski, so I cannot give any opinion on the ski locker.
1. The apartment is very small and the aisles of the building are a bit narrow. But I think this is quite typical of the apartments in this region. If you want bigger, then be ready to pay more.
2. There are two bunk beds which are ok for children, but tall adults may struggle to use them, in particular the one at the top. The apartment also had a sofa bed, but we did not use it.
3. It would have been nice to have a proper oven. There is a combination of microwave and grill, but it doesn't really work for anything other than heating food. Also, it is located in a very high position which may make it inaccessible for shorter people.
4. The Internet is a hit and miss. It worked well for the first part of the stay, but it will occasionally stop working completely. Do yourself a favour and make sure to get a French SIM card for 10 euros and rely rather on a mobile connection.
