Nice stay for The Camino traveler.

Nice set up for Camino Portuguese Central pilgrims after a day walking. Above average restaurant on premise. Bath tub for a hot bath after a hard day is a plus.

Some groups could be noisy at the place, specially at the restaurant.

You need to experience it!

We needed a break on our piligrim journey. We had an amazing time in Quinta do Caminho. The location and the views take your breath away. It is tranquile and peaceful. The design is rural and reminded us of English cottages. We were welcomed by staff who were eager to help and make our stay as great as it could possibly be. They really went above and beyond in service. The rooms have a personal outside area just for you. Ours had a personal hammock chair that is great to sit in and enjoy the peaceful night with a glass of wine. The room walls are made from stone and keep the rooms cool during the hot summer days. For a colder night, the warmer blanket is provided. There is a swimming pool available that has a side with a depth of over 2m, amazing refreshing option on a sunny day. Hammocks and sun loungers are also available free of charge. There is an option to hire a jacuzzi on a cute patio by the pool, if you so desire. There is a wonderful restaurant on site. The best restaurant I have ever been to. It is used by the guests of the hotel, but seems to be extremely popular with the locals as well and at no surprise. The design is charming, the service is on a very high level, but the food... it is just magnificent! The duck and the gammon just melt in your mouth. The salads are fresh, the most beautiful dessert options, and great wine. We have stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and used the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Este alojamento é magnífico. Super tranquilo, sereno e sem barulho. O Diogo é um excelente anfitrião e indicou tudo o que poderia usufruir na cidade de Valência. Um local único para pernoitar e usufruir. O pequeno almoço estava excelente e o envolvente era magnífico.

Simpatia dos funcionários. Localização muito boa, acessos fáceis e distância curta de várias cidades.

Relação qualidade preço. Pagamos 80 euros (sem pequeno almoço) por um quarto demasiado básico. Se for pela comodidade do quarto em si não compensa

Non adatto al cammino

Struttura molto bella, pulita, molto gentile il receptionist che mi ha consentito un check-in anticipato di un’ora e mezza, ma sicuramente non adatta al cammino. Gronze. com riporta dati non corretti. Non si può certo dire che il pellegrino sia il benvenuto!!!

Il menù del pellegrino previsto solo a mezzogiorno e se si è in due x 1 sola persona Peraltro fuori e non all’interno del ristorante!

I would definitely stay there again.

The room and bath were clean and spacious and located on a stunning property. The on site restaurant was excellent and the breakfast offerings were first class. Also, it’s located directly on The Camino.

There were no negatives.

Para repetir no está mal

Si nos gustó, que ya era la segunda vez que estábamos , aún que modernizar un poquito no estaría mal , sólo es una observación 😃

El jacuzzi estaba lleno de pelusas , no sé si fue de los trapos de la limpieza o del que y teníamos bastantes mosquitos en la habitación

Absolutely wonderful.

The friendliness of the staff, the room, the surrounding areas,the gardens, the restaurant although it doesn't belong to the Quinta. Excellent food for very reasonable prices. Great breakfast. I could stay there for a few days.

The rain, but that couldn't be helped.

A lovely spot on the Camino

On the Camino, lovely welcome. Excellent restaurant.

Bathroom, toilet too close to sink especially if you had long legs.

Could be better

Hot tube and toilet overall good.

Bad smell inside, probably because it's old wood construction. The decorative pillow on the bed had a very horrible smell, probably never washed. And door has hard to open. Also looks better in the photos than reality. Pool could be open for more hours.

Lovely stay on the Camino

The rural location right on the Camino was perfect, relaxing , quiet with calming views of nature yet top notch facilities. The on-site restaurant was amazing. I had both lunch and dinner there The pool was relaxing and the hotel was kind enough to schedule a massage for me while I was there. The masseuse , David, was excellent.

Rest day on the Camino

It is very pretty. Attached restaurant was excellent. A/C was strong. Shower was great. Diago (owner) was very kind and accommodating

No food options Monday when the restaurant is closed. The restaurant also wouldn’t let us have lunch at 14:45 because they close at 15:00. It’s definitely rural. Nothing within walking distance. I thought it was in Valenca when I booked it but it was 5 kms away

A welcoming stay with profession service

This was like a slice of heaven. The rooms clean and well prepared, booking was easy, and it is literally right along the camino. The pool was perfectly crisp during a heat wave and the rooms had AC if needed. Shower water was hot and had excellent water pressure. For the restaurant you were supposed to have made a reservation, I didn’t, but they still took me and I had one of the most delicious meals that I’ve had in Portugal Every staff member I encountered was welcoming, kind, usually excellent in English and seemed genuine.

Beautiful location

Nice grounds. Room was comfortable but bathroom had an odor. In our room bathroom was part of the room so limited privacy. Fine for solo or couple. Deck was nice. Adjoining restaurant was great along with breakfast. Be aware there is nobody there to check you in until 3 if you arrive early.

My favorite stay in Portugal

The grounds are impeccable and the food was done if the best I’ve had in Portugal or anywhere for that matter. my room was delightful.

The only thing I didn’t like was there wasn’t water or anything in the room and they close the restaurant from 3-7. It would have been nice to have a glass of wine on my patio in the afternoon but it was not available.

Lovely site right on the Camino Santiago de Compostela. A private club appearance. More expensive than most Albergues but worth it. Good internet. Very clean. Excellent restaurant. Staff helpful snd pleasant. Breakfast first rate.

quinta with pool and wine

The school just property had a lovely swimming pool and the room was spacious with an incredible balcony and green views. The restaurant was great and amazing wine to be had. Book the restaurant that is separate from accommodation.
