El trato cercano y familiar del personal de recepción
El baño antiguo y poco moderno

Generally, the staff, location, historical building and common areas were very nice. The rooms were quiet, clean and good size. Included breakfast was pretty good.
The bathrooms were quite dated and could use a renovation.
4.3
Loved the historical value of the hotel, spacious rooms, quiet area, central, close to stations. Most of all loved the special attention and guidance given to us by the staff- especially the help of Joel!
A stronger wifi would be appreciated

Muito bonito
Mesa no quarto estava partida.

The 16th Century hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. They resolved an issue when my husband lost his wedding ring with extreme ease. We would return without a doubt.

The Hotel has created a characterful place to enjoy your stay. Excellent location close to the Town and the funicular railway. Lovely variety of restaurants all within easy walking distance. Amazed at just how interesting the Hospital Ship was.
A special mention must be made for Rui Braga. He helped me charge the car when the charging point outside was found to be unavailable to me. Thanks Rui, you're a star.
A little chaotic when busy, always asking for bowls or glasses. The biggest negative was how dark the breakfast room was. Perfect for intimate evening leisure but not breakfast.
Although nothing to do with the Hotel, the charging point outside is not available on an International credit card.

The property was very old and well maintained leaving you feeling like you were in a palace. The staff were incredibly helpful and positive.
Nothing to dislike

Everything! A luxurious hotel in a 500 year old building in the center of town. Just perfect for my rest and treat day, walking the Camino. And be sure to take advantage of the excellent food and attraction recommendations.
Nothing. All was fabulous!

Beautiful building in an ideal location, near to the train and bus station.
Lovely, comfortable room and a good dinner in the restaurant.
Unfortunately we felt that the breakfast offered didn't match up to the rest of the stay.

Hotel is based in a very charming and nicely renovated early 16th century building - quite a special place.
4.3
The location was perfect. It was a beautiful boutique hotel, which was the oldest house in the area.it had a lot of character.
The staff were all wonderful and friendly.
It was beside a shopping mall and the train station, but you did not hear the noise.
Parking was easy.
The bed we had was not comfortable, but other rooms had different beds, so i should have asked to change rooms.
4.3
The building, the staffs, the room, the location and the breakfast was amazing. An great experience in Viana do Castelo.
Everything is perfect, but the hotel bar there was no one to serve us. Kindly the receptionist did that.

nada
there is nothing that could be good in a room with huge amount of ants
nada pode ser bom num hotel que tem quartos com enormes quantidades de formigas
nao gostei da enorme quantidade de formigas no hotel
I hated the huge amount of ants in the hotel everywhere
4.3
The location is very good and the staff very friendly.
The historical building is also really well preserved and the breakfast is very good.
The room wasn't clean enough - dust on the tables, hairs in the bathtub and floor, small pieces of paper on the floor.
The room was a bit cold and the air conditioning was really loud and didn't warm up the room enough.
4.3
beautiful 500- year-old building. amazing staff goes out of their way to accommodate you and makes you feel like royalty - even though we came in after 26kms of walking the Camino in heavy rain looking like beggars.
