Highly Recommended, thoughtfully updated, wonderfully appointed

Jacqui and Rex were extremely accomodating and hospitable hosts. The property is very well appointed and the quality of the linen is to be especially mentioned, as it was divine. The yard and outdoor area was great for our kids, and the property was an easy enough walk into town.

Period charm, central location, amazing hosts made for a very enjoyable stay.

The location of The Sampson was so handy to all that Orange and the surrounding area has to offer. Located centrally, but away from any busy roads certainly makes for a very comfortable stay. The property was well appointed with many features and inclusions that made our stay all that more enjoyable.

Perfect country home, in ideal location with so many comforts, makes this the ideal place to stay.

Located on a lovely street, easy walk to restaurants and shops. It was so cosy and the heated floors and towel rails in the bathroom added to that comfort. Sitting on the porch with a cuppa in the morning or champagne before dinner was ideal. Lots of personal touches and communication from the owners made us feel looked after.

There was nothing that I did not like about the property.

Adorable cottage in Orange. Very warm and has everything you need.

Gorgeous little cottage with a lovely backyard for the kids to run around. Very cosy and warm which was a blessing given the bitterly cold and wet weekend! The hosts were exceptionally helpful.

Bed were too firm for me but that's a very personal choice.

Beautiful home in Orange

The Sampson feels like a home-from-home - very warm and comfortable. There were lovely little touches, like the items in the pantry (we enjoyed sampling the chocolates!). We were given lots of helpful information about the property and also things to do in the area. It's located very close to central Orange (walking distance to the CBD) and a good base for exploring the whole area.

The property was on the whole very clean but a few bits had been missed on the carpets (hardly a problem though!)

House was perfect. Great for relaxing as well as being equipped with everything you need if wanting to cook. Little details that most holiday homes forget meant we didn't have to bring much with us. Even pantry items like soy milk, salt, etc. were available

Gorgeous house with plenty of room

Homely and comfortable house that has stylish interiors. Fully equipped with plenty of storage in whisper quiet location. Very good value for money. Love that face washers were provided for each guest and appreciated the chocolates and biscuits.

Needed a more thorough clean and dust.

Very clean and cosy. Love the heated towel rack and bathroom floor. The bed is comfortable. Very nice owner. Sent us so many tips and info about Orange. We had a great time. Pity that we only stayed 2 nights.

The pantry is great. However the vinegar has expired. Would be great if there is used by dates on containers.

I throughly enjoyed my stay in Orange inclement weather & all.

the dwelling was very clean and had everything you needed. the towells were lovely & soft. The host were very good at communicating and the way leading up to our stay and during checking that we were goo.

The cottage was very comfortable and well set up and very close to the main town centre. There were lots of treats from outer hosts- chocolates varieties of teas and coffee etc. The hosts were most approachable and helpful and had lots of information for us on points of interest cafes sights etc.

Our stay was too short!! Apart from that I did not dislike anything.

nothing, would only add that down the track outdoor heating would be awesome so you can use the great back yard all year around ;-)

The house is homely and comfortable and the little treats in the kitchen were a pleasant surprise. We would happily stay again and highly recommend to friends. Definitely super hosts!

A very clean, well appointed and comfortable home for a visit to Orange. It is well worth the price.

This house is beautiful and very, very clean and well appointed. It is in the better area of the town and close to all amenities, hotels, restaurants etc. The host stayed in contact with me and inside the house, there was a very detailed folder of places to visit and also personal opinions of them.

There was nothing not to like about the property or the owners. We will definitely return to this location.

All in all, disappointing. It felt like “Granny’s” house with not much natural light.

The beds were comfortable with good quality linen. The area was very quiet, which made sleeping easy.

On arrival we thought that the house smelt musty and each day on our arrival home we would sit with the front and back doors open to generate some fresh air as bedroom windows were either stuck or had loose window latches. Bathroom was not very functional- vanity was too high for my 5’3” height and shower over the bath is difficult and potentially dangerous to use. I cannot understand why you would bother putting a bath in such a small bathroom, given that the majority of people probably prefer a shower unit.
