All great.

Super cool, super clean and refreshingly different. I love that not all elements are refurbished in a modern new vibe. Some are bit even refurbished at all . Great restaurant etc
All fabulous if you love pretend fashionable paper thin wall modern hotels you may disagree . The bathrooms are clean but might need a proper update to cater to a some clients liking. I like original with a light renovation.

Staff were excellent & loved the Summer Kitchen experience.
Rooms were old & dated but they were clean.
Shower tiles were old & needed replacing. With 8.6 rating & price we were disappointed with the rooms, everything else was good.

Location.
It was marketed as a hotel but it was a motel.

The room was arm and cosy with lights on when I opened the door. Loved the heater inthe Bathroom. It made it very comfortable and cosy to shower and use amenities overnight

All the fit out is done to a high standard and there are lots of nice little touches like fresh fruit in the room that make a great impression. The bed and linen were good quality. The staff are very helpful and friendly and know what they are doing. The restaurant is top quality too.
There are a few signs of the old original cheap motel in the rooms such as a cheap cupboard. Nothing that spoils the stay.

Everything! The concept of the Retro is brilliant, offers a point of difference, comfort but also elegant, and the rooms and hotel facilities have been tastefully renovated. We enjoyed a martini in the garden around a fire pit, then a complimentary guest drink in the Bella Vista bar followed by dinner in the Peacock Room. We could have been dining in a luxury hotel in a major city. The food was excellent and affordable European inspired, the décor was interesting and glamorous and the service was friendly. The rooms were a great size, velvet armchairs comfortable and an extension of the glamour in the Peacock room. The finer details made us feel special and welcomed. We stayed in a signature room and enjoyed daily complimentary fruit, snacks and non alcoholic drinks. The room and bathroom were clean and bright. The bed very comfortable. We were delighted to enjoy some delicious welcome cookies when we arrived with a cup of tea. Complimentary gowns, slippers, yoga mat enhanced further our guest experience. The Oriana is also central to the town, restaurants, pubs, cafes and the golf course across the road. We walked everyday. We will be back in Spring or Autumn.
nothing.

It was homely and comfortable. The bed and pillows were next level. Thoughtful touches like flowers, fruit and welcoming music and warmth plus the amazing style are well worth a visit.
I wished I could stay for longer, but I'll be back.

The friendliness and thoughtfulness of the staff steal the show. I have never felt so welcome at a hotel before and you can see why people gravitate to the restaurant and bar of an evening.
It felt like the staff like working there, and it is so much more easygoing than a large chain.
Nice little touches on arrival put me at ease and it felt a bit more like a holiday than a work trip.
It was the second time I have stayed at The Oriana and I would again.

Loved that I walked into the room and they had music going, heaters on and some water and snacks.
I stayed on a Saturday night and heard the couple in the room next door come back around midnight then the man spewing at 4am woke me up 🤣 not much you can really do but the rooms are definitely not sound proof!

Size of the room, comfortable bed. Excellent shower and lighting were adequate. Enjoyed the soft music on arrival.
Only thing I could complain about there was not milk supplied.
Very clean.

Stylish refurbishment staying true to it's mid-century origins. Rooms well back from the street so no traffic noise. Sensational dinner in the adjoining restaurant.

Very appreciative of the call on my way as I was arriving very late. Air con on and lights on a warm welcome. Checking in with me regarding a book I had left behind but had finished.
Great service
All my needs were met and issues were dealt with.

The Oriana has been renovated in a modern retro style, beautifully retaining its original mid-century style. Our room was clean, fresh and inviting and we really liked the small but very effective bathroom heater that warmed the bedroom too and the little touches like the retro-style outdoor chairs and table and complimentary welcome drinks and apples. The staff were friendly and the restaurant, The Peacock Room, was exceptional fine dining - and super convenient being on-site. The Oriana also has a large swimming pool and outdoor dining area with casual eatery complete with pizza oven. The location is also great, being close to Orange's cafes and the heart of town. We just had a regular room with queen-size bed which was a little small but we were out everyday so we didn't need a larger suite.
