Amazing stay

We loved it very much.

Cozy cottage with fully and well furnished, new and clean. Surrounded by peaceful space with beautiful view of nature. Melissa was super responsive and supportive.

There was smell of dung that’s smelt from the inner bedroom at night time.

Amazing location and beautiful cabin. Everything and more was provided. The cabin was down up beautifully and was in a great location. Check in and out was simple and communication was great. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Lovely country stay perfect for a travelling family

Absolutely loved our stay here. It came complete with everything with a breakfast included. The location is beautiful, quite and gives you a warm home feel. We had a stroll around the property and were greeted with friendly cats, alpacas and a cow that loved the attention. Would absolute stay here again

If you are seeking a serene location, in a popular destination, then Drumreagh is the spot for you!

Such a peaceful spot to stay, located just 2km out of Deloraine, along the beautiful Meander River. Our 2 bedroom cottage, accessed via an arched tree lined avenue, was only one of two. These were spaced so as to provide plenty of privacy, a must when sitting on the front deck looking out across a green bush like garden to a field with slow moving dairy cows and inquisitive alpacas. There was plenty of room inside for our party of 3 adults, a couple and a single person, and the furnishings and fit out were exceptional! Linen was of the highest standard and the beds were oh so comfortable. The toiletries were top end, as were the eco friendly, Australian made, cleaning products for laundry and kitchen. Really appreciated the breakfast provisions that were left for us, and the comfortable lounge furniture for relaxing. Melissa was the consummate host, friendly in all communications with us and allowing us the flexibility to PIF after arrival. She sought a convenient time to visit us to collect payment, spent some time enquiring about our holiday before leaving us to enjoy our own agenda.

There was a fault with the plumbing in the sink in the bathroom, which was a bit of an annoyance. We let Melissa know in order for her to action repairs. These things happen. It did not impact on the overall experience we had at Drumreagh.

This is our second time staying here (last time was 4 years ago). Both times were very enjoyable!

Melissa was waiting at the entrance for us, even though we arrived after reception's opening hours. She turned on the cabin entrance light and heater for us as well. The beds in the two bedrooms are very comfortable and my wife just love the kitchen, which allowed us to cook both dinner and hot breakfast in the morning. The cabin is well furnished and have everything we need.

Nothing really. The lounge room window shades were not there when we stayed. Perhaps it was being cleaned/replaced. It did not bother us at all anyway as we feel the place is tranquil and safe.

Would stay here again and totally recommend it to family and friends.

Highlight of our trip - kids loved the space and walked down to visit the Llamas, sheep and even got a visit from the local cat for a pet. Serenity and just being able to sit on the front patio and listen to the animal and birds - perfect for a romantic getaway or a family break. Very clean, beautifully set out and with breakfast supplied. even managed to get our washing done in the machines supplied in the rooms.

Leaving the area the next day - wished we had stayed longer but planning the next trip back already.

Great cosy clean cottage that is private and very quiet.

What a wonderfully clean and cosy cottage. Very generous breakfast supplies. The bed was extremely comfortable and warm. Thankyou Melissa we will certainly book again when we are next in Tasmania.

Cute, quiet, loved it!

Decorated so thoughtfully, we really loved it! Loved the brekky provisions in the kitchen, a perfect little getaway for ladies' night in!

Nothing! We loved it! Bathroom will be updated with the rest of it in due course I am sure, it's about the only thing that is awaiting its turn for a facelift 😊

The cabin was beautifully decorated with cosy furnishings.. amazing views of the surrounding land and trees from all the windows. The facilities were perfect for what we needed. Lovely peaceful and relaxed vibe.

Lovely location and cabin but disappointed with smell in 2nd bedroom.

I have been a regular visitor to this propery over the last few years. and always enjoyed the facillities and breakfasts! I knew there was a new owner for this visit and looked forward to seeing their new take on the property. It has been updated with new furniture, fittings, curtains and decor, in neutural earthy colours. The breakfast supplied was probably not quite as homely but still adequate.( not the home made bread or muffins on arrival) There is a strong feeling of enviromentally sustainable products and foods. The cabin presents as clean and comfortable. There is some lovely fresh and comfortable outside furniture on the deck. The gardens had been tidied up and minimized.

Unfortunately we had to suffer the overwheelming smell of possibly a dogs/ animals urine in the second bedroom. It appeared there were stains on the carpet. We have reported this to the owner and was told there had only been one other visitor that had used the revampted cabin. They said the carpets had only just been recently cleaned.There is a no animal policy and we was disspointed that this problem had not been addressed before we checked in. The other cabin was not used that night so we could have been put in there. I hope this issue is addressed before anyone else checks in. It is dissapointing for the owners if a previous visitor has broken the rules and caused this problem for the new owners and next guests! There were flat batteries in the remote for the airconditioner.. luckily we had some spare ones with us so we could keep warm during our stay.

Breakfast supplies were great. Fresh eggs, fresh bread, butter, juice, milk, honey and porridge provided. Interior design of the cabin was amazing. Everything is new and beautiful. Good heating in each bedroom and a/c in the living room. Location is great - very quiet, yet just 3 minutes drive from Deloraine main street with excellent bakery, cafes, river and Deloraine Deli (a must!). Would love to stay here again!
