何と言っても、スタッフの方々が親切で、とても癒されました。施設も清潔感があり、庭に面して朝食をいただいたのですが、その時間がとても良かった。シーギリアにも私の感覚では歩いて行ける距離で(10〜15分くらい)とても良かった。

唯一の欠点はここだけではないのですが、日が暮れると通りに街灯がないので、真っ暗になります。ライトが一つあるといいかもしれません。あと、夜10時〜朝6時くらいまでの暗い時間に歩いていると、象に襲われることもあるそうです。これはシーギリア一帯ですので、この宿の悪いところでわありませんので、悪しからず。

Simply perfect

Everything superb. Best value for money we got in 6 weeks of Sri Lanka. Awesome food, don't bother looking for anything else in Sigiriya.

Angenehme drei Nächte.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön im Grünen gelegen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich und kocht lecker. Wer in der Natur entspannen möchte ist hier richtig. Es können Roller und Fahrräder gemietet werden.

Wlan funktioniert nicht was uns nicht gestört hat. Die Zimmer sind ein wenig feucht wodurch es vielleicht leicht riechen kann.

We enjoyed staying at Danara. The room was nice and we slept very well. It's so quiet and green in the surrounding. The hosts were lovely and helped us out with the a few things. We even got a breakfast package when we were visiting the lion rock.

Jungle paradise

Amazing breakfast and dinner in the terrace infront of the house in the jungle. Really kind and helpful host. They also drive you everywhere you need. Definitely recommend this place!

Good budget place to stay in Sigiriya, very nice hostess. The location is very convenient, the place is very quiet and peaceful. We loved the pets, a very friendly white dog and a cool cat. I recommend ordering dinner at this hotel! The hostess prepared a wonderful dinner for us, the food was very tasty and cooked with love. Breakfast is also very tasty and nutritious.

It’s worth it, great family host and great room

Family host are very kindle and generous, location was convenient, the room is clean and you are surrounded by nature.

There is not good wifi, but the owner solved the problem.

Nice and friendly owners, reasonably clean. Loved the jungle vibes, very relaxing.

Plenty of ants in the room - ok ots in the jungle The neighbours guard dog doesn't like visitors. Generally the dogs in the area are quite aggressive.

Best place in Sigiriya

Very nice, clean and cozy stay. Breakfast good, complimentary tea, TASTIEST dinner for 800rupeer per person, do not be scared of vegeterian, try this home cooked meal, we just lovet it. Very quiet surroundings and beautifull garden, could even see some monkeys and fireflies there. :) It is around 5km from the rock. Cutest family running the place, host offered us taxi service with nice car and helped us to get everywhere, gave good sugestions about train to Trinco instead of bus.

It's the most lovely place I ever visited. Very very clean room, delisiouse breakfast, comfortable bed and very beatiful territory with a lot of trees and flowers. Host are very helpfull.

We love Danara homestay!!

The family of Danara homestay is super friendly and helpfull. We stayed here for 2 nights and the breakfast and dinner was awesome! really local and delicious food! It is such a nice family with 2 little children, a nice dog and a cat! we hope to see you again soon! we will deffenitly come back and book here again!

Nice little separate two room guest house on a big family property surrounded by a lush garden (which is also providing privacy). The family is super nice, they make sure you’re very comfortable. Breakfast is typical Sri Lankan, simple but nice, dinner is available if you ask for it. The room and bathroom is very clean and comfortable. The location is great, quite close to Sigiriya Lion rock, you could walk there in like 15 minutes although it’s not really recommended as there might be wild elephants around and they’re not the best to be approached on foot. :) Overall a nice and simple stay, great value for money.

Everything here is amazing! Stay here, you won’t be disappointed! for the price you get everything you need. room is clean, comfy and specious. Sabita is amazing, she makes breakfast, tea / coffee when you ask. the location is beautiful! really quiet in the middle of nature, very few mosquitos. You can rent bikes for 600 a day, which we used to cycle to both rocks and into town, although you can easy walk. for the price, we were amazed at how amazing this stay was.

The location is so dreamy, in the middle of nature. The accomodation has all you need and is way better than we expected from that low price! Breakfast is very good too and the sweet lady made us dinner too. Heartwarming people, very nice and caring. Can just reccomend!

An amazing stay in the middle of nature within walking distance of Lion Rock. The whole family went above and beyond to make my stay as good as possible, cooking both breakfast and dinner at a time that suited me and also taking me to Kandy when I moved on. Couldn’t ask for much more and would definitely recommend!
