Das Hotel hat alles, was man sich wünscht, Toller, tropischer Garten, sehr sauberer Pool und ein nettes und sehr hilfsbereites Team. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Man bekommt vom Team Tipps für Ausflüge und immer Hilfe bei Fragen. Die Lage ist prima. Für diesen Preis eine klare Empfehlung!

La ubicación del hotel era perfecta, se podía acudir andando a la roca de sigiriya. La habitación era amplia, cama cómoda, mosquitera, baño amplio y limpio. El trato ha sido genial. Nos ofrecieron taxi para traernos a kandy, parando en Dambulla.

Stunning

This resort is stunning, The grounds are beautiful, staff are super friendly and have great advice about the local attractions and what to do/avoid. Rooms spotless and great water pressure in the showers. Beds super comfy. Offered bug spray at dinner, and food was great. It was even better than the pictures show

Le cadre est magnifique, au milieu de la nature avec une piscine magnifique. Les chambres sont sympa. Ce lieu dégage une atmosphère paisible et on a adoré notre séjour. Personnel incroyable aux petits soins.

Everything about our stay was perfect, and I am grateful for such a memorable experience.

Location & Accessibility: Nestled in the heart of Sigiriya, this establishment boasts an excellent location that is conveniently walkable to the small town center of Sigiriya and only a 15-20 minute walk from the Lion Rock parking area. While returning from the site, note that the entrance to the gardens is a bit further, so I suggest taking a tuktuk. Its proximity to the downtown area makes dining out an easy option. However, the option to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner on-site is a delightful convenience. Accommodation & Facilities: The place is an oasis of beauty, surrounded by lush greenery and palm trees, with a stunning pool at its heart. The rooms and bathrooms are exceptionally well-appointed, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The ambiance in the evenings is enhanced by a chill and atmospheric background music playlist that really sets a relaxing mood (the playlist is really cool, hehe). Service & Dining: The service here is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel well-cared for throughout your stay. The food is delicious and generous in portion, ensuring that every meal is satisfying. The staff's efficiency in arranging transportation at very reasonable prices for various excursions (Pidurangala Rock viewpoint, Lion Rock, Dambulla, and the Golden Temple just 30 minutes away by tuktuk) was truly impressive. They also managed to find us a very friendly taxi driver for our onward journey to Kandy at the end of our stay, again at very fair prices. Overall Experience: Everything about our stay was perfect, and I am grateful for such a memorable experience. I will definitely return. The combination of excellent location, superb accommodations, outstanding service, and delightful dining options makes this establishment a must-visit for anyone traveling to Sigiriya. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

A bit expensive (one of the most expensive hotels of our trip) but the location and atmosphere are worth the price-quality ratio in my opinion.

Toller Start in Sri Lanka

Der Pool war ein absolutes Highlight. Nach den Wanderungen war dies eine willkommene Abwechslung. Frühstück mit frischem Obst, Toast, Ei und Marmelade. Man kann dort auch Abendessen oder Shakes etc bestellen.

Super sauberes und gepflegtes Hotel

Ruhige und idyllische Lage in Sigiriya. Umliegend gab es auch einige Restaurants. Saubere Zimmer und gepflegte Anlage. Extrem freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Vorallem der nette Herr mit dem Piercing am Auge (Allrounder). Riesiger Pool für nur 5 Zimmer und das Hotel hat auch ein westlich angehauchtes Restaurant. Super leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen.

Die Stühle an dem großen Tisch waren extrem unbequem. Hier wären als lieb gemeinter Tipp Sitzkissen von Vorteil.

Gewoon goed

Het was er lekker rustig, terwijl je toch heel dicht bij The Lion Rock zit. Fijn dat elke kamer een zitplaatsje heeft, en er een goed restaurant bij zit. Personeel was vriendelijk.

De kamer wordt niet elke dag schoongemaakt, maar volgens mij is dat hier gebruikelijk. Ze hebben de kamer wel 1 keer schoongemaakt en genoeg handdoeken aangevuld, maar dat zou zijn omdat we 3 nachten verbleven.

We would recommend to everyone!

We had a fantastic few nights stay at La Dolce Vita! The team were so welcoming and always on hand to help. The luscious surroundings made the place feel like a hidden paradise and chilling by the pool was so relaxing. Madu was on hand to drive us from the airport to the hotel and a tour to Pollonaruwa and to Kandy for a fair price. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and professional. The food was also great!!

Great location, good pool

Location was perfect for walking to Sigariya rock, we enjoyed the pool and breakfast was very good.

Really enjoyed the place but trying to sell us a tour as soon as we arrived was a bit much after 24 hours of travel.

A perfect homestay - book it and confirm this statement yourself!

Spacious area, very nice room and bathroom, super clean. Nice pool, long enough to actually swim. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tasty food. Walking distance to Sigiriya.

Lovely place to stay with a relaxed vibe

Very friendly staff who helped us planning all our trips. The rooms are nice, with a very big bathroom and one of the best showers we had in Sri Lanka. Also playing nice music at the restaurant.

Amazing place.

The place was amazing. Really nice people are in charge of it and they are there to help you with anything you need. The room was big and really comfortable. The pool is amazing and really makes your day when you come back to the hotel.

10/10: run, do not walk!

Comfortable rooms with amazing shower (best we’ve had in Sri Lanka)! Dolce Vita is located just off the main road, with a lovely pool as its beating heart! The staff is really nice and helpful, providing tips on everything and arranging trips/activities! Recommend everyone to stay here!

A real gem with pool next to Lions Rock

Lovely stay by all means. Room was very pleasant, clean, bathroom as well. Breakfact included in the price was very testy, so as other food in the restaurant (and reasonably priced). Staff was helpful. We loved the pool - very clean and lovely located in the garden, especially appealing after walking up Lions Rock in the heat.

All the stay in the hotel was just great. The only complaint I may have is for the taxi we ordered via hotel - I especially asked for the babyseat, but none of 2 taxis had it. Later it appeared a case everywhere in the country - even tough I receiced info that babyseat will be provided, it was never there.

Perfect spot

We loved staying here, all the staff are lovely and it was in a great location walking distance to everything we needed. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again

Only stay if you want a pool

Loved the pool Really nice bedroom Good location

The host - we asked him to book us a tuk tuk to the train station the night before - we confirmed this with him in the morning and he told us the price and we said ok… we turned up for the tuk tuk and he said he hasn’t booked it because we didn’t confirm - even though we confirmed TWO times… almost missed our train because of him. Also didn’t make it clear that the Sri Lankan breakfast had to be pre ordered (when we did have it on our second day it was very disappointing- just some potato curry with string hoppers) Ants everywhere Dog on a short lead - I know in Sri Lanka this is still normal but it was sad to see him always on such a short lead :(

Lovely accommodation with really nice staff

A wonderful place in a beautiful city with a nice swimmingpool and really kinf staff members. The breakfasts were very delicious and huge portions. The room was wide with comfortable bed.

Lovely place, food ambiance, nice location

Sura and his friends are very nice people. We had great conversations! Nice ambiance, good breakfast, even better now with a fruit juice included in the breakfast! The pool is beautiful. Room is nice with good AC. Location very good, walking distance from Sigiriya rock and Pidurangula rock!

Man hatte das Gefühl man ist im Paradies gelandet, es war sehr ruhig, Die Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Lage war super und das Frühstück sehr lecker!
