Cabañas confortables, con excelentes camas.
Desayuno excelente, con muy buena atención de la Sra Jeanette.
Hizo falta Wi-Fi, al menos en el area común, ya que la señal celular es muy precaria.

Such a gem! Worth the short drive outside of Chaiten. Jose took great care of us during our time. we even decided to stay a third day. We will return the next time we are in the area.

Great staff; waited for us in the middle of the night as our ferry arrived with a delay at 2am to Chaiten.
Best coffee in Patagonia! Great homemade cake for breakfast.
Lack of breakfast space (only two tables available). We were expected to schedule a time we would have breakfast at and finish it promptly so that other guests could have a turn. Being on vacation and in the jet-leg, that felt a bit inconvenient.

Breakfast was great, the cabin was big and roomie for two. Nice view and balcony on the cabin. The scenery in the area was stunning and the river was flowing wonders.
Lack of fridge in the room. The common kitchen area was dirty, and full of fruit flies. The boards that make up the counters have large gaps between them and were full of kitchen filth. For an expensive accommodation "cash only" is somewhat of a problem. There is no open or functioning ATM in the nearest town 30 minutes away. There is no cell service or wifi at the accomodations. This made sending them a cash transfer difficult. Expensive accomodations should be taking credit cards. Booking hid "cash only" in the small print and we missed it.

The cabins and common areas were really lovely - the huge live edge slab tables with sheepskins and blankets were great, we really enjoyed having a stocked kitchen available to use. Breakfast was wonderful with homemade baked goods. Our cabin had a wood stove and a view of the river - very cozy and comfortable.
There was no sign from the road that we had the right place! There was also some miscommunication about what night we were staying, so no one was waiting to check us in. We were lucky to catch an employee before he left the property to show us to our cabin.

The stay was wonderful. We appreciated above all the kind and professional service by the owner, outstanding breakfasts including perfect coffee and home-made cakes, travel and hiking advice, in 3 languages, introducing us to new trails, excellent common kitchen and living space, and not to forget the dog Daka that entertained us endlessly.
Everything was perfect

The location is superb, a few meters from the Michinmauida River, surrounded by old trees, greenery, mountains with small hanging glaciers (cerro Cascada). Only 22 km south of El Amarillo where the southern entrance to the Pumalin Park-El Amarillo has small shops and a small cocineria. Facilities at the Cabañas are clean and very well appointed. But the best are the owners. Paulina and his son Miguel Andrés took care of all details, teaching us how to light the wood stove or telling stories from the first dwellers (colonos) that open tracks through the thick forest and endured harsh winters. It is a very appropriate place to stay for many days, far away from cities, noise and pollution. A great place to meditate and to be in touch with nature.
Nothing that I can remember

Very good location. Friendly staff and good cabins if you don’t mind to to have a little fireplace in your room.
Very friendly staff but one morning we had to eat in the very cold. The breakfast is really good but if you have to eat it in an ice cold room it’s not much fun.

A great place to stay. Pretty, clean, with a great view and a great host
