Lovely guest house with amazing hosts

Lovely guest house, with two incredible hosts. We felt very welcome from the very first second of our arrival. Andre & Lorraine are very kind people who care a lot about their guests.

Very welcoming couple, providing a very good service. Lovely Guest House in a convenient location.

We received a very warm welcome fron Lorraine and Andre. There were nice touches in the room such as a fridge containing fresh milk and water. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was freshly cooked and piping hot, using very good ingredients. There was plenty of choice. Good location, very near the seafront and about 8 minutes flat walk from the railway station.

Nothing really, we were made very welcome. A comfortable guest house, just what we wanted.

Memorable for many reasons, but Lorraine and Andre made it even more special. I didn't want to leave

Lorraine and Andre were the best hosts. The room was located on the second floor and had a sea view, which was nice. The room was very clean and welcoming, tasteful decorated and facilities were of a very good standard for the price. We had travelled to get married and they accommodated everything we needed, help us with parking, getting around, places to visit and respected our privacy. They provided a full breakfast, which was of good quality and lovely and hot, earlier than advertised as requested so we did not have to worry prior to our journey to the venue. When we returned from our wedding they had made our room special with a quick tidy up and thorough clean and left us some bubbly, glasses, card and chocs to start the celebrations. They ensured that we were happy throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Always jolly and approachable. Can't wait to see them again.

A little Gem !

Lorraine & Andre have made this B&b so relaxing & welcoming, they clearly care about their guests & it shows, lovely room with great view , even had a small fridge with fresh milk & chilled water each day, breakfast was lovely & perfectly cooked. Great location for walking to town or the quay, if you’re in need of any recommendations Lorraine & Andre will help . We will definitely be returning.

Location perfect room warm and comfortable, hot shower, breakfast was lovely, I would recommend all to stay at this friendly cosy b&b The attention to detail was 100% the owners are caring and so friendly any problems they are there to help, we will definitely with out a doubt stay again. Superb

The hosts, Lorraine and Andre, were warm, friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a large double room which had a very comfortable bed, tea/coffee/hot chocolate! making facilities and an en suite shower room. Everything was spotless. We have no hesitation in recommending Braemar and would definitely stay there again.

Spotless and comfortable room, helpful, sensitive and friendly hosts, brilliant breakfasts , great position. Good cupboard and drawer space. Great place to explore both Weymouth and the nearby places of interest.

We had a really nice break at the brae mar weather was brilliant accommodation we’ll be back

Location was really good close to beach and facilities. Breakfast was really nice we had full English you could have cereal fruit juice and toast, but there were other options too

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Andre and Lorraine are so nice nothing was too much trouble for them, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the brae mar guest house again

We had an absolutely lovely time; wonderful hosts, great accommodation and we plan to return!

We loved everything. Andre and Lorraine were the perfect hosts, very friendly, warm and welcoming. The accommodation was homely and exceptionally clean and the facilities were great; we could even see the sea from our room. The breakfast was hot and delicious and everything was cooked to perfection; all the cold elements to the breakfast were lovely too.

Possibly two room keys would have been helpful but apart from that, there was nothing we didn’t like, apart from our diary, which meant we couldn’t stay longer! The hosts were very helpful with advice about parking too. Obviously being on the sea front this is always an issue, but there is ample local / overnight parking and this shouldn’t put people off coming to this venue.

Exceptional

Perfectly situated guest house, our room had a lovely sea view with little extra touches such as bottled water. Lorraine and Andre were both lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend and our expectations were exceeded. Would love to return soon!
