The living room was nice and big for everyone to sit and chill. The beds were also comfy.
There could be with a few things been updated such as the floor in the kitchen, and the dinning table was quite worn

The fishing is fantastic here. Theirs is 2 fishing pools on the site and a small shop to get basic food from and the the staff are fantastic very friendly and polite. We been here a few times and love it every time and if you want a good days fishing this is the place for you.. plus the dogs a free to stay there and also it’s very quite around there.
It’s not far from the town centre to get all your needs and a good place to eat is poppys cafe and dogs are welcome there and the food is home cooked and staff are amazing.

The site was clean and quiet. The cottage was lovely and comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly.

The site/location. Able to walk the dogs around the site rather than along the road.
Flies in the property. Wasps in the bathroom (2 mornings) got stung twice trying to clear them . Bit of a smell in the kitchen area.

Could do with a gate to the court yard outside as he had a dog.

The cottage has potential to be really nice. It’s in a great location for coastal towns and attractions.
Pulling up to the cottage we though it looked a lovely camp site but then when entering our cottage it smelt damp and unclean. It had just had a surface clean but with the current Covid 19 circumstances it’s not acceptable, it should be cleaned throughly. Round the edge of the shower was dirty, a nail scrubbing brush was left from previous people in the shower, the kitchen smelt the worse which I think stemmed from a dirty splash back on the cooked, it was nearly unbearable. The carpet needed a good hover, there were a lot cobwebs. I was disgusted to find two old crumped biscuits stuck to the side of the bedroom cabinet. There were flys everywhere and to top if off we had no hot water, which is unacceptable. Not good when you are travelling with a two year old who wants to keep picking up the dead flys off the floor that we managed to get with our own fly spray. Reception didn’t seem interested when we mentioned everything. We were eventually offered alternative accommodation but it was near the end of our trip and would have waited too much time to transfer belongings over so they sent cleaners in after we said we didn’t want to move but the only thing they looked to have done was moved the mouldy biscuits. We actually left a day early as it spoilt our holiday.

Site is lovely, secure and clean, about 4 miles out of ingoldmells.
No enclosed space for the dogs to go out of a night before bed and first thing in a morning. Seems to of been a fly problem, persistent flies in the property yet windows and doors were kept shut because of this. Also on arrival and throughout the week, very unpleasant smells in cottage, particularly kitchen and small bedroom. Neighbouring caravan owners were not very welcoming and made it clear they were not happy that we took dogs on the little patch of grass that was close to their caravan. Also no freezer, so we couldn't buy any ice cream.

The campsite itself was beautiful and the location was great.
The cottage was full of mould and damp in every room.
The floors were filthy, there was dust and cobwebs everywhere.
The kitchen equipment was dirty and I had to wash everything before we could use it.
The water from the hot tap was lukewarm at best so I had to boil the kettle every time I wanted to wash pots, surfaces and the floors.
There was an abnormal amount of flies everywhere in the cottage.
One of the ladies on reception was rude and extremely unhelpful.

Lovely peaceful place, everyone was so friendly. The cottage was clean and well presented. Cannot recommend this place enough. Just far enough from skegness and Ingoldmells to visit but not be in with the hussle. Perfect weekend away. Definitely visit again.

We did drive around Friskney before going back to sycamore farm to ask for directions. This should have been mentioned in the address to the cottage.
