Room was very small and compact comparing to facility rating. Even people with height of 6-foot plus are not fit to beds. However, rooms were managed well even in very small area

We got the room above the ground and it was a quick walk down or elevator ride. The area is full of places to eat or drink. It's relatively close to the train station. This is the only cheaper hotel that was available.
The room has the bed with about 2ft space against the wall on 3 sides and the bathroom shower and toilet is one single room that is tight. The extra door barely close fortunately, its a hot weather country so its not a problem. our first night, we encounter a couple that were doing the deed and we could hear from our room and it was still very loud even though both their room door and our room door close.

Clean, modern, small but offers everything a traveler needs. Free mini bar with the coffee machine is appreciated :)
Not soundproof, no drop off pick up point, which can be challenging in my case with many luggage’s and heavy rain.

I liked that it was fairly central to anywhere in Singapore really especially walkable distances to a lot of attractions.
Good access to MRT and bus stops and plenty food places around it
Room was pretty cramped not going to lie, but didn’t really bother me as I only slept there, rest of the time I was in the city

Stayed for 2 nights in this hotel, we are family of 3 (2 adults and kid). Location was really good, just a 7 minutes by walk to MRT station. The room was clean and comfortable, even we had a coffee machine (capsule). The price is reasonable , good offer to stay in Singapore.
There is some renovation close to the hotel. I didn’t enjoy the roof pool because of renovation noise. But in general that’s ok.

We were very pleased with our stay. The staff were very welcoming and gave us great service. They accommodated an early check in. The rooms were nice, would stay here again.

The location was pretty good and easy to find. Only 20 minutes from airport. I used the Mrt to get there. The room was small but good enough for me as I didn't spend much time there. I don't really have any complaints about the room. it was very clean and it was comfortable.
Not much to dislike really. Regarding the staff. They were polite and respectful. Oh and you had to pay 100 S $ In advance for damage deposit but it wasn't really a problem for me

Well designed bathroom for its size. Good location. Decent bed.
Rooms can be very small and feel cramped once you get your luggage in the room. Singapore prices are very high for what you get in a room. Older hotel design means few amenities.

The cleanliness was appreciated and the quality of air was good. Essentials you would need are there (water, towels, bathroom essential, small snacks, etc.) and lighting was good. The bathroom was clean and water heater is effective.
Small space (standard room), no desk or chair, and cramped living area. Entrance (lobby) is small and dim.

Very small room and no windows

- room looked very nice, clean and well lit
- complimentary minibar (cookies, tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, ice tea, cola, sprite)
- bathroom items
- shower AND bathtub
- how the building was re-done from an old colonial building (keeping the structure, but adapting it to the modern days and necessities)
- there is a mini-pool & outside lounge area
- outside view/neighbourhood (constructions sites)
- both room keys were not working (demagnetized?!) in just a few hours - very weird (and no, were not kept near a phone :D )
- nespresso machine not working :(

Small room

Clean and close to MRT station, nearby shops and bakeries.
Small rooms especially for a family of 3 seemed a little too small. Over priced for the space.

A spotlessly clean room with well-appointed bathroom (excellent water pressure) and comfortable bed. One of the few places in this price range that offers a balcony. Situated in a quiet street yet close to lots of major city attractions.

Overall, this was a comfortable stay. I booked this accommodation on very short notice due to sudden changes in my schedule, but was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfulness of the hotel. Room was not big (which was to be expected, granted its price point), but it had everything I needed and the layout was intuitive. I also appreciated the little perks such as local snacks at the lobby, postcards detailing how to speak "singlish", and posters explaining the hotel's heritage (it's a restored colonial building)! While I didn't indulge in any of the snacks, I imagine that this would be quite a unique stay for tourists.
Room felt slightly different from the pictures — there weren't any blue cushions, which wasn't a major issue but it did somewhat take away from the original vibe I expected. I kept my curtains closed most of the time because the location of the hotel was slightly dodgy (near bars), and we were on a lower floor facing another building so passers by would have been able to see into our room otherwise.
Towels were also a little worn out, but generally everything was clean.

Staff very friendly. Room was great as we were upgraded to 5th floor with pool. Always clean and well stocked with free water and drinks and snacks. Loved Nespresso machine in the room.
Wi-Fi was great and fast.
Location we found very good and easy to access train stations.
Only thing we found was TV had very limited channels for viewing when we arrived back in the evenings

Interior was clean, staff were friendly and helpful.
Exterior was dirty and horrendous e.g. balcony was not a nice place to be.
