Hervorragende Möglichkeit zur kurzen Übernachtung in der beeindruckenden Bergregion

Sehr freundliche Familie mit guter Kommunikation und Hilfeleistung. Frühstück mit regionalen Spezialitäten. Der Ausblick auf die Natur ist sehr schön. Das Dachfenster und die Seitenfenster ermöglichen einen herrlichen Ausblick.

Die Heizung hätte stärker sein können. Oder das Zimmer müsste besser gedämmt sein.

Cudowny klimat

Cudowni gospodarze, pyszne, domowe jedzenie i super widoki.

Nocleg znajduje się daleko od glownej drogi, okolo 10km od centrum Mestii. Wlasciciel chetnie pomaga w znalezieniu transportu, albo sam go zapewnia, jednak bardziej polecam ten nocleg osobom posiadajacym wlasny samochod, w przeciwnym razie jest sie zaleznym od gospodarza.

Mestian lifestyle experience

David and his entire family were very warm and welcoming. It was great to meet travellers from different places. David went out of his way to arrange some trips for us too. He has a beautiful farm and an amazing family. David also helped us find the way to house without much trouble and was also available whenever we needed his help

The road to the location can be a bit confusing but you could find signboards through the narrow roads

Good village accommodation

The owner was very kind and helpful (he speaks English), the food was local, tasty and delicious. Dinner was 20, breakfast 15 laris.

The house is 5 kms from Mestia center, and it is hard to reach (recommended 4x4 car) They have 2 shared bathrooms, if the house is full, you may have to wait.

The room was very homely and comfortable. Very accommodating host, we were very grateful for the lifts sorted out for us to and from Mestia. Food was delicious, especially the dinners.

Perfect stay in Mestia!

I loooove this place! It's comfortable, it's the perfect place to chill and relax after hiking for three days and David and his family are so nice! Would happily go back at any time. It's not in central mestia so probably better if you have a car, but they can also sort a cheap taxi for you :)

Sweetest stay

This house is in a small little village away from everything. Very nice if you want to experience a place in Mestia not over crowded with tourists. The food was delicious and traditional. The family was so nice and David was so helpful.

It was a bit hard to find, and you need to hike to get there.

Beautiful & Authenic Georgian Family Home

Beautiful quiet location for a mountain farm getaway. The food provided by the family was amazing! Davit was really helpful assisting us by organising taxis into town.

It is very far from Mestia town (too far to walk) so I would recommend only staying here if you have a car/don’t mind getting taxis or if you are happy to stay away from the main Mestia town.

For the price, the rooms were good, clean beds and pillows

There is no ventilation and can get really hot in summer, The thing i hated the most was the path to the property The road is severely damaged and is very difficult with the car to go through the path to the property. The toilet was not clean The views were not great at all as mentioned

Beautiful accommodation in the countryside. The bedroom was clean and the view of the mountains and the sky made it perfect. The homemade breakfast and dinner were delicious. The owners were very nice and helpful. Pleasant family atmosphere.

It happened several times that the water did not flow in the bathroom. It was unpleasant when the water suddenly stopped flowing during the shower. There was hair in the shower drain (probably from previous guests).

The place is in a proper village. Its very calm and peaceful. It is situated 10km before Mestia. The host is super friendly and picked up from and to Mestia. The rooms were clean and nicely maintained.

The location makes it a bit difficult if you want to go to out at night.

We had the panoramic view room, and it was stunning! The views were breathtaking and the private balcony is a great spot to just sit and read a book. The property is only accessible by a 4x4 but David is able to collect you from the closet road. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, some of the best we’ve had on our trip so far. David is also super helpful and a great host!

absurdly positive experience, can‘t recommend it enough. david & his family are lovely people with amazing cooking, horse riding & chacha destillation skills who even helped us build a sauna. i can imagine that it‘s not easy to host a group of thirteen people between 18 and 26 years but they killed it. thank you!!!

Absolutely beautiful

I really liked my stay at Ecohouse ! The family is so firendly and helpful ! I stayed there for 5 nights. I was given a beautiful room all made of wood. I ordered dinner and breakfast both were absolutely incredible, so good ! They gave me a very nice spot for my meditation practices, and they helped a lot with transportation as mestia is about 30 minutes away. It is the perfect spot if you want to be a little outside of the more touristic site that is mestia. It's more quite, and the sense of community is really strong in the village !

The food is perfect, I can recommend for everyone to ask breakfast (15 lari/person) and diner (20lari/ person). It absolutely worth. David and his family are very helpful, he suggests program hiking spot etc, he can help in everything. He answer very fast via booking or Viber.

End of October the weather is cold 0-3 Celsius, so bring some very warm clothes. The road is muddy when it's raining therefore 4x4 is suggested.

Lovely local experience

Our host David and his lovley wife Miko and their family are what made this guesthouse so special. They could not do enugh for us from arranging pick up to their house to rides into town to ideas for hikes and of course delicious fresh farm food. They even surprised my husband with a cake when I said it was his birthday! It was so wonderful chatting with then and finding out more about their life and Georgia itself. Watching them and their family (David's children, parents ans grandmother) work the farm every day was also so entertaining. You feel very remote as their farmhouse is removed from town and the road and about 20 minute drive from Mestia. Makes for a real local experience which is exaclty what we were after. Accommodations are basic but very comfortable. I really appreciated them letting us do our laundry too! It was one of our fondest memories in Georgia.

It would be great to get some better lighting or maybe a window in the guest dining area.

Wonderful

David and his family are wonderful people. Here we had one of the best home cooked meals we had during our trip in Georgia. Very good value for money. Lakhushdi is a wonderful small village 10 km before Mestia. The trek to Mkheri church starts in this area.

The location can be a bit of a hit or miss. I personally loved the fact that we were not staying in busy Mestia, however it does make getting to Mestia a bit harder. David and his family will do what they can to accomodate you. Even so, having your own transportation will be easier.

David and his family are the best hosts. The guesthouse is very special and has amazing views. Great food, convenient facilities. David helped us with everything! Organized horse trip, helped us get to the beginning of the treck, allowed us to leave the car and everything in it for the time we were doing the trail. We had to make multiple changes to our booking and David was super understanding and helped with that as well.
