Amazing and breathtaking
Our stay at Vale Dos Milhafres wasperfect. Henry is a very good host and has a lot of great tips regarding restaurants and activities. He even facilitated our arrival by making a reservation at a restaurant. In the house all the facilities are present and work perfectly. The main selling point here is the view which is astonishing.

Beautiful views in a charming home
There are not enough good things I can say about our time here. Henry was an extremely accommodating host. He has had a very exciting well-travelled life and seems to really love welcoming fellow travelers to his home. Whenever we had issues he would respond immediately. He also provided a large amount of information about the island and great restaurants which came to be very useful. The room is in a small separate building from Henry’s main house. Everything you need is in that space, We had a full kitchen, dining table, clothes washer, living area, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Right outside of our little house was a private terrace area with sun chairs, and a picnic area overlooking the coastline. Although we were right next to the main house it was still a perfectly private space. Our favorite aspect of the house was that one entire wall is just completely windows, so you can eat breakfast, or be in bed, and see the most stunningly beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets. The location is also perfect. In retrospect I am very happy we decided to stay slightly outside of the main town just because it felt so peaceful and beautiful, but it’s still only a 5 minute drive to Angra do Heroismo and has easy access to the main roads that take you around the island. If I could return I would, especially for a longer visit as we got very comfortable very quickly and didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay on Terceira.
Everything was wonderful

Comfortable accommodation, great location, stunning views and caring host - the best combination.
The place exceeded all of our expectations. It was comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated to ensure maximum comfort and convenience. The views of the valley and ocean that surrounded the property were stunning. But the highlight of our stay was the host Henrique. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed and that our stay was enjoyable.

Magical-relaxing-stunning-unforgettable-life changing
Henrique is the most amazing host you could wish for, always there if needed but not imposing.A true gentleman. He booked amazing restaurants,he booked taxis with people he trusts that never let us down.Always had suggestions for walks or site seeing. The property has wonderful views,it is in a very quite and safe area but only 10 min drive or 30min walk to the main town Angra. There is a small shop 5 mins walk which has amazing fresh fruit, veg, bread and the best cheese we have ever tasted.A beautiful large bathroom,a hob to cook and a washing machine to wash your clothes if on a longer stay like us(10 days).A BBQ on request. We could not of asked for more from Henrique the property the area or the amazing people of this true tropical gem in the Atlantic.Already planing our return visit in May.Thank you H our new friend.
