Lovely flat in an amazing location.

Amazing location and a beautifully decorated apartment. Comfy bed and The shower was also great. Communication with the owner was super easy, Ivana is so helpful.

Overall a very nice stay with a lovely host who offered us local information when requested.

The location was great. Renovations out front of the apartment made enjoying the front area impossible. The host did advise us of the issue and offered free cancellation, however, this was too close to our trip so not possible to re book. No issue with the noise as work did not start until 9am. The apartment was set up with double bed and single pull out bed so it was very small and crowded. Very cute though. Appreciated the water and condiments in kitchen.

Was too small for 3 people and the sofa bed was very narrow.

Great location Stayed in Stone House apartment. Reasonably appointed.

Not suitable for more than a single adult or couple. Quite rigid property rules. A kettle would have been nice.

It is expensive for the ratio price/ quality.

Very good location in the old part of the city. It is close to the most of the attractive places.

It is on the ground floor and you can hear every noise from the street. It feels damp and smells like stale air. The bed is not very stable.

Passable

Location wasn't too far from main parts of town.

Smell in the room, mould on the walls and in bathroom, in particular the shower. When we arrived the door to enter room which was on the street was unlocked. Lots of scaffolding outside, portable toilet outside our door. Construction rubbish and dust outside. No outdoor seating outside as per photos. Lots of strict rules by the owner.

Great experience

Great location, in the center of Ortigia, very nicely decorated studio. We stayed at the Stone House which is ideal for a family of 4. Ivana the host, suggested great places for coffee and dinner! Thank you

This venue is ideal for a longer stay

We stayed 2 nights in Ortigia of our 14 day Sicilian adventure. This old town was one of our favourites visited. The property is in a great location, but a little tricky to find initially. It is in a pedestrian only zone. Parking is not on site. We were pleasantly surprised at the modern amenities and the roominess of the space. We did not utilized the kitchen, but it was well equipped. Breakfast was not included. The street market is close by.

Great location and good value

The location was superb. Tucked down a quiet back street and although there were building improvements being made to the exterior of the property at the time of our stay, the host made us aware, giving us prior notice and this didn’t disrupt our visit. We had a studio apartment on the ground floor, which was lovely and cool after a hot morning of wandering the old town. The facilities are all very modern and the apartment was immaculately clean.

Only a minor observation, there seemed to be quite a lot of emergency lights (green, blue) that lit up the room. If like us you like to sleep in total darkness, we couldn’t find a way to cover the lights. Also, there was a good coffee machine but no electric kettle.

Nice place in center of Ortigia

Small but very comfy apartment. There was a working vinyl player in the apartment which added to the good vibe. Location was perfect. Everything was 5min walking distance, the parking, the local market and main pedestrian streets of Siracusa. Espresso machine with good coffee :)

Not much to complain about. The building in front of the balcony is under renovation so that may be a temporary issue but there was no activity during our stay so it did not bother us.

Great apartment spoiled by attitude of the owner/manager

Fantastic modern apartment with a GREAT coffee machine, terrific kitchen etc

There was an annoying intermittent squealing noise which lasted about 5 mins every time the toilet was flushed, including during the night. When we reported it, the owner initially said that was impossible because he had been there the day before and hadn't heard it. When he came and heard it himself, he said it was normal. I hope it has now been fixed, but for an owner/manager to disbelieve a client is not a good look, and was an something I have never experienced before in 50 years of travelling. Very upsetting. The apartment was also hard to find because of an incomplete address. The access streets were covered in scaffolding which made it even harder, and the owner/manager was somewhat impatient when I rang to get directions. He had sent a message with full address, which I had unfortunately not found whilst travelling.

The apartment was super clean. The inner decoration was nice and was such a great pleasure to the eyes. Very pleasant to stay in.

The bathroom door doesn't fully close, which is a bit weird. Sometimes the hot water runs out during shower.

Location provided easy access to all parts of Ortigia as well as convenient access from the parking in Siracusa (MOLO Sant’Antonio: the EasyPark app allows you to add time online without returning to the lot to purchase a ticket.) Clean contemporary design, built to a very high spec. Good sound isolation between units.

No heating in the unit, so rather chilly in March. But lots of extra blankets.

There are constructions all around which causes to noise and dirt. It was un pleasant arriving at night. The ground floor apartment suffers from unbearable noise from the upper floor because the upper floor has a thin wooden floor and you can hear each step or spoken word from up

Superb

Interesting arrangement: they have practically put a modern flat inside an old house in the historical part of Siracusa (you see above your head the old roof). Fascinating old and confortable at once. Nice bathroom, confortable beds, nicely equipped kitchen, the flat has it all.

If you are staying more than two people, hence using the sofa as bed too, keep in mind this isn't really two rooms: the bedroom is separated from the living room by a huge metal/glass door. And keep the sofa away from said door (we thought it was a good idea having it as close as possible to the door, reducing the chance that our child would fall off the bed) because if the person lying on the sofa/bed would get in contact with the door during the night, the noise made would certainly wake you up. We didn't know the first night but once we moved the sofa 10-15 cm everything was perfect.

Excellent

Very seldom does the reality of a rental unit exceed the photos.! The unit is beautifully decorated, new and modern, very well equipped for self catering, very centrally located in old town Ortigia. Exceptional value for money and highly recommended - everything worked, was new and clean. Privilege to stay there and should I every again have the pleasure of visiting Ortigia they will be first on the list. For a family of 4 you cannot go wrong

great location, very smart

fabulous location in the heart of the old town. 20 minutes walk to station. the space is well designed and finished to a high standard. Ivana was a helpful host and good communicator ( we never actually met her)

one of the pillows smelt a little musty and the hot water ran out a bit on the first night. but that didn’t detract from a very pleasant stay
