The bedrooms were nice and clean with a beautiful view. There were plenty of blankets for the cold night, and a nice hot shower.
The owners were unresponsive to my messages and most times there was nobody around. I had asked to change breakfast to a time that worked for us and another time had asked for some boiled water - both times I got no reply.

Las habitaciones y vista al lago.

Nice family run hostel. Beds come with plenty of blankets as it can get quite cold at night. The real highlight here is the breakfeast Pancakes
Beds not the most comfortable. Check in took some time as owners were not onsite.

Beautiful hotel with a fantastic view! Everything was clean and the staff very friendly. Prepare for a a bit of a hike to get to the hotel, it's on top of the island. But it's well worth it!

Great views, opposite a lovely cafe for juice/drinks. Very quiet and peaceful. Comfortable facilities, plenty of blankets for the colder nights. Close to the top of the hill for sunset viewing. Breakfast was an absolutely huge pancake, very filling! Kittens were wandering around too.
Nothing, it's perfect - but be aware nearly at the very top of the hill so a long-ish walk at altitude, just bring your overnight bag not a full suitcase!

The Hostal was beautiful, and the family were so kind during our stay! And the views are just amazing! What a spectacular setting close to other restaurants!

Excellent nice guest house. The owners are just the best. You can trust them and ask anything they are always keen to help. Location is perfect and the view is definitely a plus. Thanks again for the nice stay
Mattress was a bit old

I had a room with a terrace and big windows that looked over the west side of the island. The bed had a down comforter, which was really great for the very chilly night. There a lot of restaurants nearby to choose from. They provide a hot breakfast with eggs, pancakes, bread, and tea and coffee. It was very good value for money.
The electricity in the bathroom was out, so the wallmounted hairdryer didn't work. Luckily, I had a headlamp so I wouldn't need to shower in the dark.

Large room with a lovely view. Just a little chilly but warm in the bed. Super quiet at night. Breakfast was very pleasant.

The building and its stone decors, the view on the lake is amazing. Rooms are spacius and clean. Good breakfast and staff is very nice and kind.

It is a long climb up from the port and it was delightful to reach our hostel. The room was lovely, the view spectacular. And hot water, and a comfy warm bed was just what we needed! Very comfortable and well located (close to a couple of good restaurants.

Very nice, spacious room. The hostel is at the very top of the hill in Yumani - which means very good views in the afternoon/evening (but best not to take too much luggage onto the island). It’s also very close to most of the better places to eat in Yumani.

I loved this place. It has the best location of the village: high up, right next to all the restaurants with a great view. My room was also outstanding, with three windows overseeing donkeys, lake Titicaca and the village. Breakfast was very good too and the owners were very friendly
Like so many places in Bolivia, there is no heating, so prepare for the cold (I was prepared and still I was freezing)

Amazing view. Excellent rooms. Very clean and beautiful accommodation. They served pancakes our first breakfast.
The staff was half of the day absent or quite hard to reach. The place is run by a family and during the day only the teenage daughter was present at the hostal to help. If you need anything or have questions we usually had to wait until the evening until one of the parents came home. As a softening circumstance the family had a funeral that week, so our experience might have been an exception.
The worst part was that the family offered us to share a boot to the mainland (Copacabana), but they bailed on us at the very last moment (1 hour before scheduled departure). We experienced great difficulty due to their unreliability. We had a flight from la Paz and we almost missed it because we were stuck two hours longer on the island. It was extremely stressful that they broke their promise to us. In the end we had to pay a large amount of money for a private boot transfer. Unfortunately this stay left us with a sour taste. On the other hand, the rooms were impressive.

it has wifi and it works.
1. The staff give us the exchange with a broken US dollar. ( since here cannot pay with card) And disappeared since then that we cannot manage to change it back in either bolivianos and dollars. We just need to swallow the lost…😞
2. Shower water either very hoy or very cold, impossible to manage the normal temperature, and the staff is not helping at all. Besides, the water super small. I can say it is the most horrible shower I have taken in my life… 😖
3. The bed sheet is very dirty, have a lot of stains and dirty diets on it…

The rooms were clean and comfortable
The night when I stayed had no electricity, so there was no light, no hot water and no wifi
No credit card payment accepted. I had to pay 22€ in cash, instead of 19,4 USD (18,21 €). No matter what booking.com price says, they have their own price and conversion rates. So please carry Bolivian soles.

Everything, the view from the room was unbelievable, the owner was really kind and the breakfast was amazing.
Nothing, there are some complaints about the hike you have to take to reach the hostel, but either way you have to take the same hike to reach the town, and as a plus, the hostel is located 1 minute away from the best restaurants of the island.

Can be quite cold. It could be cleaner.

It was the perfect place to relax on the island, near the restaurants and few different hiking paths. The bedroom was comfortable with an amazing view as I could watch the sunset every day. Very good breakfast too. I highly recommend this place.

The location, the views, the breakfast… was great!
If I’m honest the mattress was a bit hard, I couldn’t have a good rest, but I really recommend it.

My room was super clean with a big bed and gorgeous views of the lake. The hostel was very quiet and peaceful. there are several restaurants just a few minutes walk away. if you are trekking from the north of the island, you will pass the hostel on the way.
There was no fridge to store food. I had to ask for hot water for tea and coffee during the day. I would have preferred to have access to this myself.

excellent views at sunset, the hostel is located in yamani but on the side looking west. the room was very comfortable, very healthy breakfast.
the hike is there, as you can read from all reviews, but it is the price to pay to enjoy the nicer locations. we left the heavy pieces of luggage in copacabana in a deposit. also it is difficult to find. if you get off the boar in yumani, go all the way up the stairs and when you reach the comunidad keep going up. the hotel has a view on the other side of the lake so do not get confused with any hotel on the side where you dock. if you follow the path for the palla khasa mirador you should find it.

Our stay on Isla del Sol was wonderful, we had an amazing view from our room, especially for sunset. Our room was really nice and had lots of space and even a small terrace in front, as well as a warm shower.
The breakfast was really good, with fresh orange juice, eggs and once even pancakes.
The hotel is located on the ridge of the island, with some restaurants nearby, as well as a nice viewpoint.
It’s quite a hike to the hotel, especially with luggage. We knew of it though and made it in 35 minutes. It’s well worth it though.

Very pretty and well kept. Owner was very welcoming and gave some good recommendations. Room was spacious with great views.
Not easy to meet other travelers. Room was very cold at night - bed covers were sufficient but no heating. Breakfast very basic.
It is a major hike to reach this place but I was aware of that from other reviews - once there, the location is convenient for the few restaurants etc on the island.
