Location
Did not provide what was listed. Some disrepair of the accommodation like doorknobs not working or falling off.
5.0 / 10.0
Spacious tidy mostly clean
Each chalet is separated which is nice
The on site cafe/ restaurant is very good
Electric blanket was great for the very cold weather
Stayed for 4 nights. There was nobody to help check in. Knocked on every door we could.?There is no after hours method of checking in that is set up. Staff do not answer phone or emails. Supposed to have wifi but that only lasted 2 days and then tv also stopped working. Toilet bowl needs a dose of strong bleach. Bathroom floor absolutely ice cold. Needs a mat. Each chalet caters for 3 people but we had only 2 breakfast bowls and 1 teaspoon . Only 1 towel per person and 1 bath mat towel for the 4 nights stay. The mattress on the sofa bed for the 3rd person very thin and just passable .. certainly couldn’t take a heavy person.

The staff were friendly and the property was nice and private.
Some communication was missed causing some issues with the room but they were very apologetic and it worked out ok.

Beautiful surroundings and lovely staff.
The chalet is a bit run down. Nice and clean but it definitely needs a bit of winter maintaince. The bed was a little hard for my liking.

Large rooms with nice clean facilities, lots of parking and easy access. Shown to the room by the new owners, who went out of their way to help after my arrival was later than planned. Good luck to you both such a lovely setting.
It's early doors for the new owners, so don't expect perfection.

Was spacious an warm. An very private
The sofa bed,was extremely uncomfortable, with springs poking thru. I actually spent the night sleeping on the floor 😴 .also there a beehive right at the entrance door.

The location was awesome! Just off SH2, easy to find. The chalets overlooked the magnificent gardens. Entry is free for residents and well worth a visit in themselves. Take a picnic and spend time in the garden. We spent a month staying here and loved it.
Also, the cafe built next door was excellent. Try the full breakfast!

The privacy of the little cabins is nice.
The rooms are very very dated and not up kept to any modern standards.
The WiFi did not work at all. The accommodation didn't reply to my messages. The kitchen was falling apart and the bathroom looked like it was put together by children.
There was an incredible amount of spiders and some cockroaches (one was inside my pillow case).

very quiet and extremely comfortable

Clean, staff wonderful showing us around even though we were late arriving and they were preparing for a wedding! Didn’t get to experience the grounds but they sounded great- I imagine we’ll stay again, so next time.
Even though it’s right next to SH2, it’s quiet, the road noise didn’t bother us at all and the balconies face out to a beautiful bush view.

This is our 3rd holiday at Aston Norwood Chalets and we love it more and more every time. The chalets are so comfortable, clean and welcoming. We love it that we can bring our dogs. The gardens are beautiful all the year round too. We will be definitely coming back.
Nothing - everything was perfect.

Wifi is patchy - but in line with the setting

Private large chalet. Quiet and clean. Great cafe and gardens to explore.
It is about 15 to 20 minutes from any main centres. This is more of a personal preference "didn't like" more than anything. If you are looking for, "close to shops and town", then look somewhere else. If you want somewhere that is out of the way, this is the place for you.

Being able to have my dog with me is worth so much to me. And he had plenty of space to stretch out (on his bed). I would definitely stay again. The cottage was very clean and tidy.
The location is a little out of the way. However if you arrive with everything you need in advance then its fine.
