Good stay

The space was absolutely incredible. We had plenty of room, and the space was really well decorated. The large windows over looking the street were so fun. And the location was perfect! We were right in the hustle and bustle. We were able to do a good walk up to the university too.

The hand soap and the shower gel were so watered down. It felt like there was barely any soap in there. Also the WiFi was only ok. We were able to connect, but we couldn't load a good number of websites or some of our favorite apps. The safe was locked when we got there, so we were unable to use it.

Fantástica ubicación y gran remodelación

Gran ubicación exactamente junto al arco de Almedina, parte de la muralla de la ciudad medieval, en medio del barrio central universitario a unos minutos de la Universidad de Coimbra y biblioteca Joanina. La remodelación es excelente, con gran decoración moderna minimalista y con buen espacio para 2 personas. Amabilidad y rápida respuesta de Gonçalo.

Un poco complicado encontrar el parking y cargar equipaje hasta el depto. No hay acceso con vehículo.

Nous avons tout aimé ! L'espace, le haut plafond, la déco, le design, le confort, l'emplacement idéal dans le Vieux Coimbra, la machine à café (avec dosettes de bienvenue), literie impeccable, chauffage OK, rideaux occultants hyper efficaces.. c est à dire qu'au premier étage de cet immeuble avec grandes fenêtres donnant sur la rue passante et lampadaires éclairés la nuit juste au niveau des portes fenêtres, nous avions eu peur d'être dérangées par le bruit et la lumière la nuit mais pas du tout ! Encore une fois isolation irréprochable. Super communication avec Goncalo qui a été arrangeant et adorable. Il a répondu à chaque demande très rapidement. Il manque juste quelques ustensiles de cuisine dans la kitchenette, un grille pain et des plaques de cuisson. Nous avons eu du mal à quitter ce logement, nous nous y sommes senties vraiment très bien !

Comme écrit précédemment le seul (petit) bémol c'est le manque d'équipement dans la kitchenette (plaque de cuisson, grille pain, ustensiles de cuisine) mais c est vraiment un détail !

Do not hesitate to stay here!!.

The room is luxurious and spacious. The bed the best we've slept on during our 2 weeks travelling around Portugal. The location could not be bettered and the bathroom newly done (previous reviewers have left some negative comments about the bathroom). There is a lift! And Goncalo the perfect host with lots of useful information. Coimbra is an amazing place to visit!

Lovely apartment right in the middle of all the action.

Perfect location--on pedestrian street, near major sites and great restaurants.. Large, clean, and very attractive apartment. Comfortable bed. Nicely furnished and decorated.

Wi-fi was erratic. Can be a little noisey, at least in the week before graduation but most of the sounds and views were pleasant.

The Orpheus, is beautifully set up in a very central location. Goncarlo was incredibly responsive and helpful.

The crockery was out of my reach, so a small step would be useful or they be relocated. The street below was very noisy due to ‘student week’, so maybe check the dates of your travel.

The host was 1h late for the check-in although we agreed on a specific time. Host didn’t answered messages or calls during this waiting time. Constant bad smell and no soap provided in the bathroom

Location of the property is in the centre of the historical and pleasant part of Coimbra with easy access to shops and restaurants, pretty much easy walking distance for everything we wanted to see and do. The apartment is spacious and clean and has most of what you need for a couple of nights stay. The bed was comfortable and good furniture.

Bathroom has a not very pleasant smell at times, generally cured by running water in shower and basin. Bathroom could do with an upgrade, particularly the shower and like many places, the disadvantage of the central location is that there is noise of people outside which seems to go on late into the night, tv channels to suit customers would be good.

not as clean & well kept. noise was a major problem. lead to believe that it would be sound proof only to kept awake by the end of university partying students. constantly yelling, singing, breaking glass all night long until 7:30 am!!

Very good

Great potion at the door of downtown. Very well decorated, very spacious. Little plus, outside in the street just under the window of the studio, a university student sang gorgeously fado songs. Very romantic atmosphere.

There was a awful smell coming out from the bathroom/ toilet. It was really bad it would spread around the flat. I would not recommend this place to stay just because of this, which is a real pity due to the great facilities mentioned above.

Great Location, studio was roomy and comfortable

Fantastic location, restaurants and cafes nearby, and a short walk to the university .Comfy room, host was very helpful, gave us some very useful local tips for parking etc.

Great place, just bring earplugs

Spacious, clean, and right in the heart of the old town. The host met us right at the door and let us check in early. Kitchenette was stocked with dishes and silverware, and the decor was bright and modern. Corner unit with great views of the main cobblestone street.

Roving bands of loud college students singing and shouting until 1:00am outside the windows. Also, a lack of power outlets in convenient spots.

Excellent springboard for exploring this fascinating city. Some great backstreet restaurants.

Everyone was really helpful. Including staff in the shop downstairs. Especially when we had a glitch with medication that had to be sent from UK and went missing. And when I left the key in the door!

Only real complaints were the shortage of towels and heavy hanging lampshades just where your head goes when getting out of bed. Ouch
