Clean, comfortable, and great home base to explore Lugano

Great value. Provides what you need to explore Lugano. The bus stops going both directions are just a few steps from the front door. And it has A/C, which was awesome with the heat wave while we were there! Bed was comfortable and room was clean. They let you do your laundry for free as well!

The bathroom could have used more towel hooks to hang towels and the shower curtain could maybe be wider to keep water from wetting the floor, but these are just nitpicks and I only list them by way of suggestions for the management. The room was great otherwise.

Great staff and good location, but not worth the money.

Phenomenal staff. They were friendly, helpful, gave great recommendations and spoke English very well. Great location, easy walk to the lake.

Rooms were much smaller than the photos show. The AC was not able to keep up, and the room had an odor from the humidity it created. We were there for a couple of cooler days and it was still hot at night. The shower was also bad. It was tiny, even for European standards, but the shower head wouldn’t stay in place and the curtain was much too large so it was in the way. We mainly booked this for a place to sleep and shower, and that was the worst part about it.

Everyone from the staff were friendly, helpful and spoke perfect English. I was able to store my luggage after checking- out, which was convenient. The location was pretty good, not far from the Lake and walking distance to the Centre or around 10 minutes by bus. The room had small table and there are cooking facilities if you need them.

There was a bit of noise from the neighbour's.

Pleasant

Safe area near the city centre of Lugano! Exceptional staff who gave us tips on where to go in Lugano and gave us Ticino tickets to travel the area. Fair, budget option which has a microwave and kettle to use (other facilities require an extra payment of 15 chf). Great that we could also use the laundry room equipped with washing machines and dryers.

One downside is that the dryer did not dry our clothes well (though the staff was very kind and helped us with it). Sound proofing is not great and our neighbours were quite noisy at night. Bathroom is a tad bit small but sufficient with a good supply of hot water. Overall, a good budget option for a few days in Lugano!

Nice room very clean and calm zone

The view of the lake is not as it is in the definition. The shaded room on the lake has a very narrow view and does not allow you to see the lake. Why, as I thought, was a disappointment. I advise tourists not to book rooms with a view of the lake. As for the location, it is good and the cleanliness as well.

The guy at the reception was very very helpful and nice. The location was very convenient with the bus just in front of the building. We left our luggage there and manage to go to a congress. Once back they allow us to wait back in until our pick up was there and we could also use again the service. All in great value for money with confortables beds.

Cold and noisy room. Not value for money - I wouldn’t recommend it.

Room was spacious

Room was too cold - heating wasn’t working properly- and too noisy. There was no house keeping unless you have paid extra. Definitely not value for money.

A good location of the guest house and a beautifully decorated hall downstairs and that's where all the advantages end. There was nothing in the room except 3 glasses for cooking. In the bathroom, water gushed from a watering can. Cold! The blood runs cold in my veins. Icy floors, no batteries and even window sills.

You could do your laundry for free. And when your hotel towels didn't dry you could go down and dry them

Good overall

The location was good. About 3 stops from the train station and like all accommodations in Ticino, you get a ticket that gives you free access to all public transport (including trains!).

I booked this accommodation because of the kitchenette but to my surprise one has to pay 15 CHF to actually get pots, pans and utensils to use it. Otherwise, all you can use is the microwave.

Good value for Lugano and easy access to public transport

No breakfast as it was a self catering apartment in a good position to explore Laguna. Nice big rooms and bathroom with a few of a mountain

As a self catering apartment it had no plates,cutlery or saucepans these had to be hired for an extra 15 Swiss frances and no kettle to make tea
