The rooms we’re beautiful, finished to a very high standard of modern but traditional interior
Remote location which has its peaks & troughs
4.5
Lovely large bedrooms, cosy log fire, excellent staff
The bar didn’t stay open in the evening so although we weren’t late back we couldn’t all sit together and have a drink.

Location, decor, cleanliness, great service & happy people.

Absolutely charming place to stay! We had two teenage children with us and were able to book one 'room' which actually turned out to be a room plus a snug for the kids which they loved. Food was great, staff were friendly and there was even a pool table and darts board that kept the kids happy whilst my husband and I enjoyed a quiet drink in the bar.
Food was delicious! Though could have been even better with a bit more fruit and veg (e.g. some berries with the porridge or yoghurt, some baked beans or more mushrooms with the cooked breakfast, bigger servings of veggies with the pies in the evening meals).

Friendly staff. Delicious food. clean comfortable room

Bedroom was modern, aesthetically pleasing, warm and large! Bed was extremely comfortable, quality bedding! Had a great night's sleep!! Everything one could need was within the room!
Breakfast: Choice of cereals, cooked breakfast, were excellent and well presented!
Nothing springs to mind!

Food was excellent. We changed from a downstairs room to a log cabin for our second night which was excellent and can thoroughly recommend. Staff were incredibly helpful and provided a great service
Our original room was ground floor in the pub and could hear the people talking above us and walking around.
4.5
Rooms and bathrooms lovely, and great size. Menu for dinner and breakfast superb and the food delicious with generous portion sizes.
Very attractive traditional setting.
All the staff friendly and professional.
Being picky, the carpet in bedroom had some stains. The ceiling and wall in the bathroom needed a little attention. Seeing past this the overall impression was super.
4.5
Principal bedroom was large and comfortable. Beer was great! Staff helpful.
Kitchen clearly in need of improvement. Evening meal with good ingredients, made poorly. Breakfast on the second morning was very slow in arriving.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left , all the staff could not be more helpful or welcoming .
Our room was superb and way better than other places we have paid double and treble the amount to stay .
The food is fantastic , especially the famous pies .
We couldn’t find a thing to dislike

The room was beautiful and clean when we arrived and the bathroom was lovely. It was a nice quiet location and the staff were all so friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to other people!
The car park was a bit difficult to enter and exit with a blind spot when exiting, but as the town is relatively quiet this wasn’t too difficult to manage.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, especially the rolled top bath. The food was great.
Nothing. All pefect.

A very nice well appointed Inn that has retained a lot of original features with a nice sized double room ( Holkem) with separate bathroom which was huge .
Nothing to dislike

The Three Horseshoes offers excellent value for money. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, as were all the staff. The breakfast was fantastic, as was our meal the evening before. Beautiful beer garden for relaxing and dining. We would highly recommend, and would definitely stay again.

It was so welcoming and they made it really special for me and my partner as it was our anniversary they had champagne in the room roses and towels as swans loved it !!
The only thing I would say is that there isn’t much else in the area , the property alone was amazing but location is only good if your able to travel outside the village.
4.5
Original interior and very comfortable
Lovely, but remote village
4.5
The friendliness of the staff, the quality and choice of dinner and excellent breakfast. Our room was very clean and welcoming. Beds very comfortable, bathroom was a good size with modern fittings but not detracting from the character. All in all, we could find no fault with our stay except next time, we will definitely stay longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Loved everything

Steak and kidney pudding was exceptional

Warm welcome, friendly staff and patrons. Room was out of this world set against the rustic setting of the Three horseshoes .
Wifi was a bit iffy if I am being picky
4.5
Loads of parking. Open fire. relaxed attititude and the breakfast
Wonderfull old building
Excellent room
During meal service there was only a very limited bar area and people were asked to leave where they were sitting so the table could be used to serve restraunt customers. It's not really a pub, its not a gastro pub either, the food is good but a bit "agricultural" so its really a restrant with rooms and a bar between meal service .
WiFi is iffy in the rooms but I was assured this is being fixed
4.5
The breakfast was very good as were the facilities provided in the room.
The single beds were really uncomfortable and there was no WiFi in the bedroom. Bedroom was also in need of redecoration.
Low beam above the beds was very dusty.

could be a bit noisy at night from guests ( if people were talking loudly or snoring/coughing) but saying that we were quite lucky.
