Very nice house perfectly set in nature. Clean and comfortable. Host is very helpful and kind giving all information before you arrive. Great homemade food. Beautiful spot for walks and swim in a lake. Would recommend it to all people that like nature and quite place to spend few beautiful and relaxing days!

Good communication before arrival, exact description of location of the place (even GPS coordinates) and code to get access to the keys. Very silent surroundings in plain nature. Good kitchen equipment, nice modern dishes, nice view from the upper dormitory. Cosy chairs and fireplace in front of the house for barbecue (which we didn't use, but it was nice to have). There is an arrangement with a young lady who prepares good homemade food at reasonable prices and a rather large menu to choose from, consisting of a soup, a main dish and a side dish. She delivered all these to the place and we found that awesome, because otherwise we would have had to go by car for some fifteen minutes to find the nearest restaurant.
All in all the cottage did not come up to our expectations. It was by far the most expensive accommodation we had in our entire stay in Serbia (7 hotels/apartments in three weeks) and the one which offered the lowest standard and comfort so far. We found the pictures on booking.com extremely misleading because they suggest that there is a lake directly in front of the house which would invite for a swim or at least for a sun bath at its shores. However, at least in summer of 2022, the sight of this lake could only merely be seen at a distance of some 400 metres. Also the pictures of the interiour of the house, presumably taken with an extreme wide-angle objective, raise expectations, which are not fulfilled in reality. Since the cottage doesn't have any doors - apart from the front door - it doesn't offer much privacy and I would only recommend it to no more than four persons, a number of up to eight guests is really not realistic at all. We had several power failures, one day the whole village was affected and it only lasted for some twenty minutes. The second night only parts of the cottage were affected, but it lasted for two hours and I asked the landlord for a kind of refund due to the inconveniences. But his reply was that "Vikendica Pustelov" means "cottage for adventurers" and that this was part of the adventure somehow. Although I praised the communication with the landlord at the beginning, I found it more and more standoffish and monosyllabic towards the course of our stay which made me rather angry. The whole cottage (apart from the upper dormitory) is very dark due to the few small windows it has and we basically had to turn on the light all day long. When going to the loo, the door opens so narrowly that you better step on the shower to enter the cabin, which - at this price of the accommodation - is ridiculous.

Location. Fresh water spring. Scenery and nature. Lovely view from the top bedroom window. Liked the concept of using barrels as stools and fisherman style to the cottage. Good local food delivery. Home made and rustic but make sure you warm the oven to warm up the food when it arrives.
Very Over priced for a property in rural Serbia compared to others in the area. Price comparable with accommodation we have stayed in throughout Europe but not the same standard of fittings for well over 100 euro a night. Would be good to provide a kettle and to fix the shower to the wall so one can stand under it. Bathroom on the small side and not as big as the photo suggests. Light bulbs were not all functioning. Kitchen table area feels very sticky despite constant cleaning. I'm not sure what can be done about that. Two deep holes in the sofas and feel the cottage although pretty could do with a bit of attention.

The cabin was clean, quiet and cozy. The surroundings were serene. The breakfast prepared by Salvica was awesome, true traditional cuisine.
