Nice place, worth the stay.

Very nice location right by the beach. A nice restaurant downstairs and a bar across the way. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants close by. The property has all the facilities you need.

Jacuzzi wasn't fully cleaned out. When used, damp came out so I had to run it a little beforehand. Sofas could do with an upgrade.

Das Einzelbett ist zu kurz für Kinder ab 164 cm Körperlänge, sodass die Füße dann raushängen.

Well equipped and maintained in a lively area

Obviously the Location is just hilarious - right at the beach and you can hear the waves coming in and going out, if you let the windows stay open. The Apartment is quite well equipped, you are able to choose your preferred temperature, the kitchen is well usable and also the bathroom lacks of almost nothing. The host obviously made his (2nd) home a home. Everything about Registration, entering the house etc. was perfect. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, WiFi did perfectly well.

Well, there are a few things that worked out somehow, but maybe weren‘t as perfect. As a first it is - from my point of view - quite important to mention (again), that there is a café u underneath, which opens quite early in the day. Whether it may be barking dogs or chatting people (guests and staff) that just come in loud - or simply look at your belly while rolling up those Rollos - it is a vivid place to stay at. People also tend to take the chance of the parking area, dark, behind the house, to make their businesses (whatsoever). Re the Apartment itself: we weren‘t too keen about the projector (too big and unclear) and obviously the Sonos Sound system, which regularly is not too keen on Apple-devices (we weren‘t able to connect, very propably our fault). The bathroom could offer some more opportunities to hang towels or clothes and the shower‘s light need a tiny refresh, but that is tiny bits. All in all it is a well-equipped and maintained apartment and we loved our stay.

Great apartment, but maintenance is necessary

Great location directly on the beach, the flat is spacious and well equipped, the beds are very comfortable and big enough, good parking and connection to public transport.

Mould on the bathroom ceiling and the ceiling plaster is falling off. the toilet seat is loose. the lamp in the shower did not work properly. The beamer is not usable in daylight (only when the room is completely darkened) and has very poor picture quality. The Wi-Fi was quite slow, so mobile data was sometimes much faster. Jacuzzi was defect.

Great location. Great beach view. Easy bus route to city centre. No problems with noise despite busy location. Nicely equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels.

Generally cleanliness was ok but could have been cleaner in more out of reach areas. Top of blinds very dusty. Crumbs along back of hob,. Shower tray fills quickly because lots of hairs in filter impedes drainage. Cutlery drawers could be cleaner too. Projector TV is probably great for film experience but a little impractical for casual TV watching whilst others in room (not least because the blinds need to be down so you lose the lovely view).

Great communication/ info & ease of picking up the keys to access the apartment & parking. Apartment was clean, well equipped & spacious for our family of 5 (3A, 2C >13yo). Well located for restaurants, supermarkets & transport. View of beach was fantastic! We loved our stay & would definitely return. Thx Kevin

Beautiful location overlooking the beach

location and communication were excellent .

Some of the furniture requires to be replaced including the double bed in the 3 bedded room . Towels also require to be replaced

Highly recommend this apartment

I liked the property being on the front of the beach. it was nice waking up listening to the sea rolling sliver the beach and watching the sun rise across the bay.

I liked everything about the property, didn’t not have anything that I did not like.

Superb

I loved walking into the lounge and seeing the sea straight ahead. It was clean and spacious with 4 adults. Have already recommended to friends and work colleagues. We found some lovely places to eat Passey's, Tge Forresters Guild and The Beach House downstairs. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. We used the bus into Edinburgh, can purchase day return tickets and use your card. We were lucky with the weather but definitely would stay again.

Not much we weren't happy with, a part from the parking Space being taken up.

Wonderful place. The beach view is amazing, two steps far away by beach, nice people arround, dog friendly and I can't wait to come back.

Few issues with the bathroom but will be fixed until next visit.

Great quality and made a little boy very happy

The location was fabulous. The size of the apartment was unexpected and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future and would highly recommend to family and friends.

This was a fantastic apartment where The views and watching the vibrant life of the beach were amazing. Great location with fantastic local restaurants and pubs …..don’t want to boost it too much as definitely want to go back.

Loved everything about the place. Apartment location is perfect for the beach. The apartment itself is gorgeous, with stunning views of Portobello beach, and the host was very helpful prior to our stay

Nothing, it was all good on the apartment's behalf. One small downside was being wakened early with the restaurant downstairs setting up outside at 7.30 most mornings

loved the location!!

location spot on,beach only yards from property,swimming baths close bye, plenty shops within walking distance,bus stops within walking distance.

apartment has wooden floors( sound) echo's,had to move single bed and underneath had not been cleaned for a while! a few extra pillow's would have been good, can be noisy early as cafe below property and people out dog walking, exercising, every morning and night on road, beach.
