Good
We loved the views, and the look of the hut, it's all very picturesque. The host was easy to get in contact with to help with anything and provided some great suggestions on what to do and helped with directions to the hut.
The bed was a bit too much on the firm side for us, (but that's just our personal preference) There are no clear walking paths from the hut so we would feel like we had to drive to go see any views. Despite a wall around the outside bath tub, the huts opposite us would still be able to look in, which defeated any sort of privacy in the tub.

Excellent stay - just what we needed!
Fabulous amenities given that it is a shepherds hut.
Felt a little overlooked by others at times.

Exceptional
Absolutely brilliant space for a quiet get away. Fantastic quality and clearly kept to a very high standard. Nothing close enough to walk to but brilliant views in a peaceful setting.

Something different surprisingly lovely!
Lots of space from other people, big skies, quiet most of the time and fab views although some car noise due to road but a B road so not horrendous. Very clean, tidy and comfortable. Immaculate.
The onus is on peace and quiet although some noise from very fast cars which wasn't expected. Not horrendous though a cafetiere would be great! And glass dishes for heating food in microwave. .

Amazing space
The Shepherds Retreat was so cosy and well thought out and a brilliant use of space. We were only there for one night, but really enjoyed our stay and want to return for a longer stay. The two single bunk beds above the double bed make it ideal for a family and the outdoor bath was a hit with our daughter. We would thoroughly recommend the Shepherds Retreat.
