Unique property. So much history! Alexandra was delightful and we enjoyed chatting with her at length.

The breakfast was very Spanish cold meats and cheese toast and cereal, not what you would expect for the price that we paid?
The cost of the evening was extortionate at 30 euros a head for a half bottle of wine, butternut soup, 2 pieces of cod and for the main course 2 medallions of pork which had to be sent back because they weren't cooked enough and for desert 2 pineapple rings from a tin, very disappointing to say the least, we won't be staying there again that's for sure.
The beds were very uncomfortable like what you would get in an army barracks, no television in the room, the accommodation was not worth the money?

Breakfast was excellent, and the location, sitting on the portico enjoying the vista over the fields to the river lined by trees

The owners were lovely & very accommodating during our 5 night stay at Cortijo Santa Clara. Luis would give us tips on the best place to park our car during our daily travels which was extremely helpful & the best sights to see. Spain was experiencing a severe heat wave during our stay with average daily temperatures between 42-45C!! It was fabulous to have a nice swimming pool to come back to after our days of exploring the various locations we visited in Andalucia. It was also great to have effective air conditioning in our room to be able to sleep comfortably at night because the nightly temperatures often didn't get below 35C. Beds were really comfy too. Nice shower & linen. Breakfast was very good with a variety of nice goodies to eat; the freshly squeezed orange juice AMAZING!!! You need to realise this is a working farm & you most definitely need a car to stay here. Our car was in a secure shady garage at the farm. As a dog person I loved their very friendly dogs. There is great generational family history here (just ask Luis) & the farm displays in the outbuildings were fabulous to have a wander through. Carmona is about 10kms away & had great restaurants, supermarket, etc in the old town.
You have to realise this is a working farm & as such there were farm smells which the heat just made worse. At another time of the year this would not impact your stay. Free WIFI was available in a really interesting history filled communal room & in the courtyard but not in our room. There was no TV in our room but we actually talked to each other (!!!) & read our books. Take insect repellant if you stay in summer: I enjoyed staying outside in the courtyard at night & wished I'd had it. If the owners could improve anything it would be the arrival process & better signage of where to go & what to do & how to contact that you have arrived at their premises as it's behind a gate.

The breakfast was very good. Fresh tasty produce! Very interesting place to stay with lots of historical features. Extremely peaceful although very close to the main road. Very helpful owners who do their best to make your stay a memorable one. Really enjoyed both the plentiful books and the piano! We would have liked to stay for longer.
The smell from the drains was pretty pungent at times and ants were an issue. We do appreciate that some things are just beyond the owners' control!

The hosts Alejandra and Luiz were very kind and helpful. They arranged horse riding for us and provided tips regarding places to visit in the area. We also loved the big (2-year old) Spanish Mastiff dog that walking around the cortijo to watch over the guests.
The swimming pool was not very clean, a bit small and surrounded in a less appealing part of the cortijo.

Amazing property, high ceilings so quite cool even in June breakfast was good, selection of drinks to buy in fridge.
When we went out in the evening upon returning we'd find lamps on that we hadn't left on, made us a bit wary of leaving medication or money out. Made it feel like it wasn't our room we were only lodgers.

Beautiful location with incredibly welcoming and friendly hosts that looked after us throughout our stay. We had a bungalow that was absolutely superb, beds were comfortable, fixtures and fittings to the highest standard and nice luxury additions in the bathroom. There was a lovely selection of tasty products within the continental breakfast and the freshly squeezed orange juice was exceptional and to round it all off, sitting outside on the terrace taking in the beautiful views left you feeling very at ease with life. A truly fantastic stay.

Super hosts, an accomodation with lots of history, good beds, an outstanding breakfast and close to the beautiful town of Carmona (couple of minutes by car).

The location was secluded but within a car journey to the nearest town and within 30 minutes drive from Seville airport. The breakfast was exceptional. I wish I had more of an appetite.
The living area has a sink , well stocked fridge that you could buy drinks, free water,, kettle and dishes and cutlery but no means of simple cooking if you wished to. A cafetiere would be good too have.

The host and hostess were very nice and welcoming. If you like the feel of a real Spanish hacienda you will love it here. Carmona, the nearly village, has great places to have some genuine Spanish tapas.

Great location near Seville and 5 Km from the subbing town of Carmona with great restaurants and historical town. The owner is such a Gentelman and was helpful to in giving us a real Andalucían experience and invited us to dinner with his family.
Everything was amazing.

Not a big fan of being accused of leaving the property "damaged" and making me lose my time.
Lied friendliness. Dishonest smile.
