Good value, near to Alberobello
This property was good value for money, and with only five (I think) rooms, was peaceful to stay at. The room was clean enough and the staff were friendly, although the main lady there did not speak English, limiting questions or even conversation, unfortunately.
I didn’t really like the style of it so much, and it felt a bit remote. It was very close to Alberobello, which worked for dinner. But having to drive out for lunches and dinners every day made things a little exhausting. There were no staff - or even guests! - there in the afternoons. The breakfast was not the best we’d had either - no warm or served food.

Superb
Great location, very nice rooms. Breakfast was very good but could have been better had some vegetables been added to the menu.

Very relaxing in a very beautiful countryside!
The location was fantastic! It's in the middle of the countryside of Puglia. If you want to get away from everything, this is the place to be! They currently have 5 rooms and opened up only in 2018. Since there has been a lot of rain in the spring, they hadn't many bookings and we were actually the only ones there. So swimmpingpool was all ours, breakfast was served at the time we preferred and to our likes. From the location it's easy to make trips in the area. We went to Alberobello ofcourse, Monopoli, Ostuni, Noci and also stayed 2 or 3 days at the house relaxing by the pool. At breakfast there was lots to choose from. Grazia even made special bruschetta for us and after 2 mornings she knew exactly what we liked to eat and drink and made sure we ate our fruits ;-). Every day we ate more then we planned for, but it was very good! There is only someone at the location for breakfast. Sometimes Nicole (who did reception) was there, but usualy there was no one. For us that was fine, we had a lot of privacy, but if you expect a hotel with hotelservice, you should go somewhere else. There's a minifridge in the room, so we bought some drinks and snacks at a supermarket and we were very OK with this situation. We had some car trouble the day before our departure (be very careful with all the holes in the roads, nothing the people from Vita Dorata can do anything about, but there are many of them and we got a flat tyre because of it), but they helped us very well, finding someone who could bring us (and all our luggage) to the gommista where our car was brought to. Thank you very much Grazia and Nicole for the pleasant stay! We would love to come back!
When we booked we notices some comments about the absence of aircondition last year, but they were working on it (according to the review). When we arrived there was still no aircondition and it was quite hot, so it would have been nice. At the day before our departure they finally started to install them. It would have been nice if they would have done it during winter time, when there were no guests. On Booking.com it says that there is a shared kitchen. Unfortunately we couldn't use it. Apparantly for fiscal reasons, we were not allowed to cook our own meal, so we had to go out for dinner every night. Since the location was a few kilometers from restaurants, you had to drive every night and one person couldn't drink to be able to drive back.

Spent a week here exploring the local area. It was a great base to do just that.
Great breakfast, friendly staff. Peaceful location. Great welcome. Comfortable room. All we expected.
A little tricky to find. Need an extra sign.

Exquisite property in serene location with very friendly staff!
Vita Dorata is absolutely beautiful! The room was tastefully furnished and the bed very comfortable. Nicole served a wonderful breakfast in the outside area, which is simply gorgeous! Both Giuseppe and Nicole were extremely helpful (especially with car trouble), gave us lots of tips, and always had time for a chat. This is the perfect location to visit the surrounding area, eg Matera, Monopoli, Polignano al Mare, Alberobello, etc. and then come back to enjoy a dip in the pool and the quiet and serenity that Vita Dorata has to offer.
Vita Dorata is very new and has some teething problems, which I am sure Giuseppe and Nicole are working on to resolve. The location is extremely difficult to find (no signposts/ GPS inaccurate) and air conditioning not installed yet.
