Location perfect
Open fire very cosy
No internet as described
Smell of damp mould on walls
Needed a refresh of bedding etc
8.0 / 10.0
Liked the lovely comfy bed loved the fire
That there was only one Tv should definitely have one more in one of the bedrooms, as we where a family of 4 with our sons being nearly 16 and 17 and would have been better for them to have another Tv

The views and the fact the beach was only a walk away
Seagulls waking me up 😂 over all we slept like babies

Within walking distance of everything
The pillow were smelly and the overall feel of the property was dirty and worn - the outside of the property was a massive let down, dark and dirty - wouldn’t stay again

Everything you needed, very well thought out. Right in the heart of Everything. Clean, comfortable home from home.

Great location.Walks from cottage exhausting but well worth doing .Amazing views .Beautiful place .Great cozy little pubs.Victoria hotel seemed very welcoming and staff were consistently friendly to all.
Very hard to find places to eat as small and mostly fully booked. Some venues staff were not particularly friendly .Happy to take your money but that's it.Even though we were childless and dogless we noticed dogs were welcome but children were not!!

Wi-Fi unreliable for the price

Great location for beach, shop, pubs cafes on doorstep, bigger towns easy drive or bus.
Property had everything needed,
A little small for 4 (largish adults, in fact of our booking did not stay as felt a little claustrophobic )
not necessary a host problem but neighbour’s security light comes on and off all through the night so illuminates bedroom , maybe a thicker curtain needed .

Too confined. Cramped with just two of us.

the location was perfect. the cottage was ideal size for a couple. lovely and clean
Having a parking permit in the car park across from the cottage would be ideal
5.0 / 10.0
The location was amazing.
The stay was marred by an infestation of moths in the top bedroom, which was upsetting for my daughter and affected her sleep. We left a night early as a result.

a really cosy property, small but cosy and welcoming
a tad enclosed
10.0 / 10.0
Great location, nice and warm to come back to after a long walk
WI-FI code wouldn’t work No parking permit for the lower car park.

A quaint and cosy cottage. Lit the log fire, due to it being cold outside hence added to the cosy feel. The location was great. Comfortable bed.
Lack of any view

Location was superb
Far too small for 4 people .. cooking was difficult as the amenities within were not great. Another group within our family at the same time as us stayed in a 4 bedroom cottage 2 baths spacious - laundry facilities and stayed for 3 nights paid less than we did. Pricing is too high for the property and facilities

Location,
Lack of flexibility on arrival and leave times. Being asked to strip beds and be out by 10am is a bit cheeky.
2.0 / 10.0
On arrival the cottage has a damp smell.
On inspection the fireplace had old used logs in it, the fireplace door was very dirty and you would not be able to see the fire till cleaned.
The lounge floor had not been swept or mopped at all very dirty and gritty.
There was only 2 towels left for 2 people ( 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel ) none in the bathroom.
The shower cubicle had hairs left i it !!
The place it self is not sunny as in the photos it looks on to a wall with bins in front of it , on a very narrow lane.
The stairs to the top bedroom are very narrow and steep and the top bedroom is very cramped with 2 single beds put in it and a very low slopping roof .
There is no DVD player there , it has been taken away by the owners.
When i eventually spoke to the caretaker they said and i quote that the cottage is tired and needs attention.
Sykes cottages are still trying to get the owners to call them back re my complaint that i had to clean the lounge and bathroom before i could use it.
Very disappointing all round ................

The throw on the sofa smelt of dog. The cottage looked abit tired.

Television not working. It would have been good to be prepared.
Shower is small especially when you are a tall slim teenager
Could do with a cheese grater and weighing scales

Location was good
Directions to the cottage. Television was poor. Shower had seen better days
9.0 / 10.0
Location in Robin hoods bay, we only had hand luggage so it was ideal for us.
We are a big and tall family of 4, it was snug but we managed fine.
Noisy neighbours on both sides. Take earplugs.
