Priceworthy, central location near Seodaejeon Station
The owner, who also lives in a room there, made it unpleasant from the first minute. You get taught in an unfriendly manner a long list of do’s and don’ts, of which a few (ex: don’t use the kitchen, don’t use the bed curtains, don’t turn off the bathroom lights) are unusual for a hostel.
the bed blanket and pillow are used without sheets/covers and there is a thick layer of dust, hairs and other dirt below/beside the beds.
you get what you pay for but i wouldn’t stay here again and certainly also not recommend to others.

Not clean at all. The rooms smell and the building was so dusty that I thought nobody cleaned there for years.

Just like l come back home.lt's the best hotel during my trip in Korea.

The place is clean, the facilities are complete.
The location is strategic, near seo-daejon station

The location is great, near to the traditional market and the bus station (seodaejeon)
a disastrous reception. absolutely not patient or polite (he yelled at me because the code he provided to booking.com for the door is not the right one) we are not allowed to use the TV and the air conditioning. the kitchen is only equipped with a kettle and a microwave.

Nice little apartment...looks like a student flat but OK as not a lot of people staying there
The owner had a terrible attitude...aggressive and bad tempered even at check in ( because I didn't say a rime...but it was 4pm...standard time for check in anywhere) and than told be not to move a curtain ( the rail was damaged) but virtually not possible not Went to the toilet at 5pm merely brushing the curtain and the rail fell down...it wasn't secured at all. I put the rail back , but rhe next day he was claiming I broke it when it was already broken.( and wanted to cancel my next 2 nights) he knocked it down easily as if to demonstrate...which made me realise I was right. It was already insecure but he was trying to charge me for it and chuck me out. I am a quiet traveller type and this is the 1st time I have ever had to deal with such an aggressive and angry hostel owner from the get go. He just barked instructions, never smiling...I explained he had to secure it...with tape...and he did...so why was he acting aggressively when he was the one at fault.. I have never met such an unfriendly host....been in 100 countries and 50 years old now, so I didn't let him take advantagecof the situation by getting too angry. I had read a similar review before ( of something similar happening to another person)

We really did not find any good points about this place.
The dorm was extremely dirty. There were hairs on the beds and the floor was very disgusting. The whole building is covered in a thick layer of dust and just looks very sketchy. The "low" price does not compensate ! The host seemed indifferent to us, borderline rude and we felt unwelcomed. Booking.com needs to figure out his algorithm that puts the "best" comments on top and that in this case date from more than 2 years ago. We booked this place in a hurry and did not see other comments.

Host was great and super helpful. Nice to have a living room to chill and a kitchen to make some food.
It is not clean. I do not have high standards and do not expect much for this low price however rooms were not really clean and the shower area could use an upgrade.

Good place, comfortable and fully-furnished

Our host was friendly and even waited for us before our arrival to make sure everything runs smoothly. Kitchen and common area had an extensive amount of appliances. For placement with roommates our host was accommodating and left us a free bed in our room, which was very nice.
The guesthouse is located well, in walking distance to Seodaejeon Station (KTX) and the subway station Oryong. From there it is only a little ways to Daejeon station and the intercity bus terminal.
While the photos on Booking look promising, when we arrived it was basically to a whole different accommodation (see pictures attached). The place seemed clean at first glance but let's just say it wasn't up to standard of what we came across other guesthouses during our stay in Korea and our attached pictures look a lot nicer than it was in real life. For example, one of us accidentally dropped their glasses and there was so much dirt (and other things) under the beds, it was disgusting. Another example, during our five days there our trash can in the room wasn't emptied once, even though the description clearly says daily housekeeping. Also, the towels and sheets in between guests were left in the washing machine for over a day before they were put on the drying rack. The bathroom in general was very run down, even though the shower etc worked properly, the waterproof coating from the door came off, there was toilet paper in the corner that got wet from showering so often it started getting moldy, and the anti-slip mat on the floor hasn't seen a clean day in a while.
Because of that, unfortunately, our stay was a lot less enjoyable than expected and we spent most of our time away from the place.

Everything else was good. He provided towels, a hair dryer, tooth brushes, shampoo and so on but also other things like body lotion, make up, hair straightener and so on. Free Water, a water kettle, toaster, fridge and so on. There is space to eat in the kitchen and in the common room.
The noisy guests in my room on my last day. . .
The door of the bathroom was difficult to open and close

Friendly owner who’s always so helpful and contactable. This is something very important for travelers. Value for money accommodation.
Nothing significant enough to be mentioned.
