We had two couples stay at the home. The house location is close to everything. We were there for two games, so we were out most of the time. There are a couple of issues that should be addressed, but not anything that should keep people from renting. The Host was very responsive and we have no complaints. I know those issues will be fixed soon.

Our stay was great. The house is super cool and in a great location. The house was fully stocked with everything you would need from towels to coffee 😉. Parking was a bit tricky but once we parked we didn’t move our car the whole time (4 days) we got around by the VEO electric bikes, which had a spot very close to the house. We will definitely be back.

The listing claimed the apartment slept 7. This was not the case. There were 3 queen beds and a crib. While only 5 of us (including a 12 year old boy and 15 year old girl), we still needed to use the tattered sectional as a bed. The apartment was not well maintained. The windows and screens were filthy and at least a couple of the window sashes were broken. Opening those windows that worked exposed you to window wells that were filled with dirt and soot. I can only assume that the vents and filters in the heating/cooling system were no cleaner.
A couple of days before our arrival, we were notified that there was a roof leak that damaged the ceiling in the living room. While we could live with that, we had to deal with a management agent coming to the apartment with contractors trying to gain entry to look at the ceiling damage. At the time, the two grandchildren were at the apartment and the adults were running errands. Despite not speaking to us beforehand, they came to the apartment anyways and one of the contractors went so far as to climb on to the roof to look in the window to see the damage. Inexcusable behavior.

Perfect place for family to stay during holiday weekend.

We only stayed late Saturday through Monday morning. One full day in downtown St. Pete on Sunday. Overall the unit and property was very comfortable. Easy check in process, the beds were comfortable for me and my husband, and the room was nice and dark for sleeping in. It is historic home, so lots of floor and door creeks, but otherwise nicely updated and decorated. The backyard was a nice safe spot to relax. We had no issues parking in front of the home and we did walk 15-20min for things to do. We did not have any urgent issues that needed the hosts help, but otherwise the communication was good. Having a 2.5yr old with us, we found Paul’s Landing at The Vinoy for breakfast, The Hangar at the airport for lunch (a quick 7min drive), the Green Bench for afternoon drinks so our son could run around, and Fresco’s for dinner on the water were all great kid friendly for our family. Breakfast at Flatbread and Butter was close walk nearby.

The property was centrally located close to restaurants, bars and shopping. Very walkable. Property was very clean and comfortable. We will make this our go to place every time we come to St. Pete!

Beautiful property in historic uptown St Pete within walking distance of some great little restaurants and destinations. This was the perfect quiet neighborhood for our groomsmen to stay at. Rooms were great, loved the rear backyard area for photos. Excellent communication. Thank you so much! Highly recommend

Great stay for a family weekend
We attended our daughter's graduation from Eckerd College last weekend and housed most of our family at this property. It has great proximity to the St. Petersburg waterfront and the fun shops and restaurants. Funky Central Avenue and the lovely lake-centered parks of the 1920s neighborhoods are all close by. Property was clean, spacious and well-appointed. The owners are incredibly responsive. If you are going to St. Petersburg and do not want the logistics and crowds of the beaches, this is a great option!

Great Location for St Pete
I stayed with a few friends when in town for a wedding. Unit was clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Shaun was awesome to work with and gave clear instructions for the unit. Everything is within 5 minutes from this location. Would stay here again!

Roomy, great porch and wonderful walkable location!
Upon arrival, house needed extra tidying, but landlord very responsive. Everything else was terrific. The location feels safe and is walkable to everywhere. The house is roomy, beds comfortable and kitchen/laundry has most everything you will need. I've already re-rented for next year.

St Pete 5th on 5th
Great location in historic Uptown St Pete. Walking distance to all museums and restaurants. Safe “home” style neighborhood.
Property was very clean and well equipped. The manager, Shaun, was very communicative and concerned his guests would have a great stay.
Highly recommend.

Family time
The upstairs apartment was a cute bungalow and was just as it was described online. The beds were very comfy and the apartment was clean. We very much enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was that at the time the washing machine was broken but they were waiting for parts that had not arrived. Parking is a little tricky because it is on the street and if you have more than one car you may have to hunt a little bit for spots. It was so close to all the amenities and things to do in the area.

Great location and cute historic house.
5th on 5ths is nice place and good location. I had some difficulties messaging the host and never had my question answered as to why the night I was staying was more than double their normal booking costs. I guess shame on me for not doing more research before booking. I feel like they completely dodged the question. The place was ok, a few issues I had that the washer machine didn't work, not a huge deal for my short stay but I could see if you were staying longer that would be an issue. There was a huge piece of plaster missing from the ceiling, I get it, its an old house, but that's part of the upkeep. My biggest peeve was a plaque that was in the house where the host was trying to coerce guests into leaving 5 star reviews because anything less than 5 stars equals a terrible stay.

Summer Vacation 2021
The overall experience from renting process to check in and check out is excellent. Shaun made everything easy.
The house ambiance is great. It’s an old house with a modern appeal. The house met all our needs so I’d give it a higher rating but due to no designating parking (street parking only) it lower down a bit. I would still recommend the house to family and friends.

Good for what we needed.
Overall stay was great. Had a wonderful time with family. House was cute and clean. Door knobs to both bathrooms came off, but owner fixed the next day. There was a slight dirty diaper smell when we arrived (did end up buying a couple of candles to cover it up). Outside sitting areas in front and in back were nice. Small park and a few local businesses (including a great coffee shop) are within walking distance.

Old and not clean
First time ever renting a house and I wish I could give this place a good rating because the space (3 bed 2 bath) was a nice size and from the pics the house looks updated but it’s old, wasn’t clean when we arrived, the master bath tub filled past your ankles when showering due to a clogged drain, the floors were dirty, the tub was dirty, the furniture in the living area has multiple stains, the master and bathroom smelled of urine, the back door area smelled like dogs lived there, the auto lock door came unlocked and the door opened (safety concern)…..
Never was I offered a refund, they told me that they would send a cleaning person and plumber out “first thing in the morning” but during our stay? What if we didn’t want to get up early and leave the property so they could do what should have already been done?! There was a dirty washcloth left in the bathroom upon our arrival….just too many things wrong to be right and in these pandemic times, I would expect the place to be clean and also expect the owner to do whatever he could to make it right. We could spend our money anywhere and we chose to stay here….it was so disappointing.

nice stay
This home was well kept and inviting. Kids enjoyed it. Not too far from town yet a little longer then kids would like. Coffee and park that were a block away were excellent.

Our family enjoyed being able to spread out in the beautiful home. Every morning, we walked the path on the park around the corner and got coffee at Flat Bread and Butter.

Three week vacay - delightful
We come to St. Petersburg annually and thus far this has been the best located rental. The nearby park was great for relaxing and coffee shop and Bier Boutique were great when we wanted to run out for a,quick bite or drink. We stayed in the upstairs unit. It worked well for us. The only thing we wished we'd had was a dresser or two, a full length mirror, grilling utensils and a good knife for chopping veggies. We will definitely plan to book the rental again.

Great location and property!
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment. The location was perfect for us. It was close to the Pier and downtown and a short 20 minute drive to the beaches. The backyard and front areas were very nice outdoor options. We recommend walking to Pete’s General for awesome bagels and baked goods. The beds were comfortable and the place was nicely decorated. We had an excellent time and hope to go back soon.

Spacious historic home
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this lovely historic apartment. Beautifully decorated with a modern touch, yet maintaining the historic charm of this home. The beds are comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet for a good nights sleep. While I did not cook, the kitchen certainly had everything I needed and appeared to have everything needed to cook a family meal. Speaking of family- this apartment is gracious plenty large enough for a family to be very comfortable.
The only thing that I would mention is this is an upstairs unit and there is no landing at the door leading into the apartment. It was not a problem for me, but if anyone has an issue getting up and down stairs it could be. However, I did notice there is a downstairs unit that looks equally as lovely as the upstairs one so there are choices!
Overall I highly recommend this home. It was central to everywhere I needed to go. I did not have a chance to explore downtown this time since I was down for family matters, but when I return I will take full advantage of this GREAT location.
