Property was excellent!
This was our second stay at this property, and it will not be our last!
Owners are extremely friendly, and the location could not be better.

If your looking for a place in Watkins Glen look no further as this is the place you want to stay. Centrally located in town this can be a walking vacation as for as things to do in town. You are also located on the main roads that go north for Wineries and other attractions.
The place is spotless and you have a deck off main living area that you can enjoy cup of coffee each morning and watch the sunrise. So Relaxing and peaceful. It is extremely roomy and comfortable. Everything you need is here as well as 2.5 bathrooms and washer & dryer. The owners are so friendly and pleasant to deal with. You are also stones throw away from all the lake cruises that are available to you. We did the sunset cruise one night that was so peaceful and informative about the lake and surrounding area.
We also attended the Corning museum of glass which was really fun to do. Walked around the town of corning as well. The wineries along RT 14 are so nice and friendly as well as extremely picturesque. So nice just to sit and take in the scenery. We attended Lakewood, Fulkerson & Shaw wineries.
On our last day we drove to the north end of the lake and went to Geneva. There is a state park there called Seneca Lake Park. Beautiful grounds to take nice walk as well as little beach which for people with kids there is a splash park right next to the beach.
Along our stay we had some bad weather one day and lost power for couple hours but owners gave us lanterns to use during the night.

Plenty of space on the lake near town.
Great temperature control, nice room sizes, good view + garage.
Only negatives - traffic noise in parts of the property and lots of stairs.

We had a lovely time with the kids here! Dan was a very responsive host. There were many activities to do with the kids nearby- several state parks, beautiful hikes, a boat ride, a local creamery up the road, and a swimming area at the lake (at Clute Park) right around the corner! During downtime, it was so relaxing to be right next to the water. And the view of the fireworks on the Fourth of July from the property’s patio was a fan favorite! Would definitely stay again!

The hosts were great with communication and recommendations! Although the townhouse has many flights of stairs, it was very spacious, had comfy beds and beautiful views. We were in Watkins Glen for 4 days which was just the right amount of time to hit some wineries, hike two state parks, go to a local creamery, kayak and go to Corning for glass blowing. Would recommend!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Watkins Brewery Rentals for long weekend during the 6 hours of Sahlens race at Watkins Glen. The unit is very clean and well equipped. The location is perfect and is walking distance to the village as well as Walmart and Clute Park beach if you have your walking shoes on. We plan to stay again next year.

We have stayed in these properties for several years now. Usually 4 to 8 of us. In various townhomes. This year we had 108 friends had one on the far end away from Watkins Glen. I have never had any issues but this year 108 did not seem as clean as the other units from the past. Cobwebs at bottom of kitchen cabinets, looked like blood on a pillowcase and I assume a dirty towel left on back of bathroom door.

overall excellent stay. property is really nice, great location and very well appointed

The views are amazing, the beds are comfortable, kitchen is well equipped. Location could not be more perfect. I’ve stayed at lots of local rentals in the area which were filled with uncomfortable furniture and consistently unaddressed rodent infestations.
I’ve stayed with WGBVR three times and don’t plan on ever going through the headache of staying anywhere else.

This has to be one of the best places to stay in Watkins Glen. Easy walking distance to most in-town attractions and restaurants. Plus you have a beautiful view of Seneca Lake. The property itself was clean and as advertised. Check-in was easy with passcode from owner. Use of the garage to park our car added to the security.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. It was like a second home for the few days we were there. They thought of every possible need you could have and it was at your disposal. The view was amazing even despite the bad weather we had. It was perfect for our family of three, areas we could come together but also spaces to be alone and cozy. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Love staying in these beautiful townhouses as often as I can. Property managers are very quick to respond and you will not be disappointed with the view and accommodations!

The property was immaculate, wonderful location. Thank goodness the train only came by once that was a little hairy. I had no idea that was an operating track until the train went past the window. The shower was awesome and great water pressure after a long day of hiking. Would definitely return!

Exceeded our expectations. Large, spacious, and well furnished. Gorgeous views! It was an ideal location for our itinerary. Best nights' sleep I have had in decades. We will definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay here but anyone renting should be aware that there are lots of steep stairs. It wouldn’t of been great. Had there been a full bath on the kitchen/living room area level. But the view cannot be beat! The space is nice and clean and modern furnishings. Absolutely lovely. I don’t know if it was just us, but we did have trouble keeping the sheets on the bed. Maybe they need deeper pockets. Other than that have no criticism. we appreciated the quick response whenever we did. Have a question and loved the location. It was absolutely perfect.

My husband and I, along with my brother and sister in-law like to go to the Finger Lakes every year. This year we stayed at the Sail Away Vacation Rental for a few days. The location was perfect, and the Rental Unit was very accommodating. We would definitely recommend these townhouses but for us the stairs were a little too much. Especially Sail Away since the second bedroom is in the loft.

Great location , easy to walk to local restaurants and shops. Watkins Glen State park was amazing and in walking distance . We enjoyed the lake views from the living room and balcony. We had fun playing corn hole and hanging out by the gas firepit.
The only negative thing about the property would be the Stairs ! If you are not able to walk up 2-4 flights of stairs don’t rent this property. The loft 2nd bedroom was nice but no bathroom on that floor so the track down the stairs in the middle of the night was a bit scary !
We had a great time in spite of all those stairs !

Very clean and new large condo overlooking the Watkins Glen Harbor. Beautiful views and lots of space. Total of three floors of living with a large garage to use included as well as a nice boat dock with seawall. Beds are very luxurious and comfortable and the linens are very cozy. There are a lot of steps here as the ceilings are all about 12’ tall which provides a very airy feel pit makes the steps even longer. Excellent place to stay!

We have stayed here multiple times and the condos are beautiful, clean and conveniently located. Ann and Dan are friendly and helpful. Could not recommend more highly

This was our 2nd stay at the Brewery Apartments and it will NOT be our last! Perfect location, roomy and comfortable home, amazing lakeside view. Love it! The only downside is the 10am check out time. The property is so lovely that it makes it tough to leave! And 10a is too early for a vacation! 😂😊

This place is the perfect location (right on the lake!), beautifully maintained, great view, super friendly responsive hosts. The only compliant....it is right on the main street thru Watkins Glen. Trucks and their brakes come thru all hours, very loud. Also, there are train tracks right in front of the property. Unfortunately, they picked the weekend we stayed to replace the ties beginning at 7 in the morning. But again, just bad luck. It really is a great location, walk to everything, great condo. (Lots of steps in the condo, it is 4 floors)

The property was very good.
The host was very friendly and helpful.
We had our boat with us and were able to use a dock slip at the property.
The condo was very nice and clean.
Only one issue with the ac.
It only has one thermostat on the 3rd floor that controlled the cooling and the 2and floor was much colder than the thermostat setting.
Other than that all was ok...

We loved our stay in this beautiful area! The location of the property was absolutely perfect for us. Close enough to everything in town and a short drive to everything outside of it. The views from the place were amazing and the place was spotless. Others have commented on the stairs, but it’s a small price to pay for our stay! I’m ready to go back again already.

It was truly enjoyable, especially the amount of space. And also the convenience close to the track.

The townhouse was great for my husband and I to stay in with another couple for the weekend. We enjoyed looking at the lake from the balcony and hanging out around the fire pit at night. There are a lot of stairs but that's what gets you the great view. Everything we needed was there, even things like salt and pepper, laundry detergent, and dish soap. It was a quick walk to the pier or town. I would definitely stay there again. Oh, and being able to park in the garage was an added bonus!

This was our 2nd stay at one of the units at the WG Brewery (previously was in Sail Away). Everything was clean & well stocked (paper products, cleaning products, detergents, pantry items & dish ware). Furniture was comfortable and attractive (many rentals locally are poorly decorated and threadbare). Loved that both smart tvs offered s teen mirroring, Netflix & Amazon Prime. Very comfortable & stress free. Beautiful views of the marina, lake & hills. Enjoyed the occasional sightings of the FLX train.

Signing up, communication with the house manager, instructions and access were easy. Everything was supplied and well stocked. The only this was missed, there were a few dirty glasses in the dishwasher. I would highly recommend this location for a stay near the south side of Seneca lake.
