Resort was wonderful, condo was lacking in some amenities.

The layout, balcony and bathrooms.

The ice maker was broken, TV in bedroom didn’t work, and the mattress had an egg crate mattress on one side probably to keep the springs from popping through.

Worst Condo Ever

The beach

The tv doesn't work, the WiFi is spotty and can't stay on a station oh yes the sheets were not on the bunk beds they were folded up placed under the pillow. I pray we don't get sick because of the mold in the water heater air conditioner closet we are 55 and older and already have health issues. I myself own a cleaning company and I would fire the crew who cleaned this room and not reported the smell. I usually would keep quiet about issues but the issues here are too many. I am so disappointed in this place the room is nasty floors was dirty , dust on the tops of curtains, table chairs have dust standing on them, Then the next morning we had water all over the kitchen floor, workers have been in and out of the condo and a towel was placed between the refrigerator and wall and left there by the workers. The smell is breathtaking like musty I guess because of the leak. I have never been so disappointed in a place like I am this one.

The property location was great, our ocean view was beautiful.

The apartment was not clean in the bunk bed sheets we found blood and mold in the bedding and wood frame. One of the pillows had a very foul sour smell to it as well . We have traveled many times and experienced updated accommodations such as outlets for cell phones. This apartment appeared worn, the only update a kitchen counter. Ceiling fan was broken and we requested maintenance not come while we were there to fix it, as we did not want to have to wait on when we are on vacation. However, my most biggest disappointment and the reason why I will not be returning to this particular area and definitely not this hotel or apartment is due to the set up of umbrellas and chairs which cost $40-$50 a day to rent. They sprawled over the entire beach every day we were there and stayed set up until 5 o’clock. As a guest, you are not allowed to be in front of these chairs only in the back of the chairs so our ocean view consisted of peoples butts and backs. That was incredibly disappointing and very frustrating. Did not seem at all appropriate to set up that many chairs when half were being used. I have stayed in Florida every year for my 53 years of life and I can tell you have never experienced this type of a set up before or people were forced to be in the back of a beach. I did not like that at all, and it left a very sour taste in my mouth for this particular area.

My stay at Destin on the Beach

I loved the apartment, and the view was perfection. I enjoyed it here more than I enjoyed being on a cruise. I would love to stay here in the exact apartment for my yearly vacation. The location was perfect. Every restaurant was with walking or short driving distance from where I stayed.

The only thing I didn't like was that my trip and time there came to an end. I wish it didn't have to end.

Beautiful view!

We loved the location of the condo. The view was terrific! We also appreciated the security people. They were always polite and nice to see them there.

There were a few things at the condo that needed to be updated or repaired. The chairs on our balcony were broken, so we had to use our own chairs. The front door was missing a piece at the floor, so when we had that hard rain some water came into condo. The bed was not very comfortable. I think the mattress REALLY needs updating!

Overall we had a good time

Location was great, nice pools and access to beach. Wonderful view from balcony.

Loved the location, unit needed updating and maintenance.

We liked the location, the view was awesome, we could walk the beach to get to two good restaurants, it was very clean, it was steps to beach, we like having a front balcony, it had two bathrooms, they have several pools and a tiki bar.

All the furniture was uncomfortable, the main bathroom needed a new flapper so it leaked and ran all night and the front desk said since we did not book with them they could not help, the secondary shower had a weak output and mold starting to grow around the base, no room for your bathroom supplies, the resort charged you $50 per day for two chairs and a umbrella to sit on the beach. The tv's were small and one cable box did not work, only needed when it rained.

Good value for the money.

The location was fantastic! Easy access to everything. The building was clean and updated. Staff was super friendly. The building was still undergoing some updates but it did not affect our stay at all. We would definitely stay here again!

Our unit is in dire need of a new mattress and some updating. The decor was outdated and felt dark and heavy. However, the unit was very clean!

Loved the view and privacy. Location was great!

The weather wasn't in our favor, but having a beach front, made it easy to make a quick visit on the beach. We also had a problem getting into our condo due to wrong pin code for the lock.

Worth the money! Beautiful views and location. Bed should be replaced though.

The view was gorgeous. Staff friendly and amenities were awesome. The room was spacious. Hot tub and pool kept clean.

Overall I’d do it again.

Wasn’t any.

The condo was dirty. Glass tables looked like you used milk to wipe them off. Your socks turned black quickly. Didn’t want to go barefoot in the condo. Furniture was really outdated. Refrigerator had rust down the side. You have to pay $50 per day for an umbrella and 2 chairs. If you have your own you had to setup behind all the others. The view was spectacular.

Condo was clean, and had awesome view. Cafe made it very convenient for a great breakfast and lunch.

Plastic mattress covers are horrible! Every little move was insanely loud and made sleeping hard

On the beach and good ac, easy parking

No broom in the condo to sweep sand, only a mop and squeegee and vacuum. I used the vacuum but didn’t seem to get it all.

Awesome Place

Location was great , swimming pool was excellent , private beach was even better especially when they came around taking your food or DRINK orders and bring it back to you.

The staff at the front desk, no personality what so ever. Rude, had the I don't care attitude , thank goodness I only had to put up them at checking in.

Nothing, we didn’t get to stay there.

We had been on the road for 15 hours driving, we checked in at 11:30, we use the door code. It did not work, went downstairs spoke with Terry, which was very pleasant, she got Vacasa on the phone after about 20 minutes, they gave us a new Door code, that one did not work, the green light did not come on, so we figured that the battery was dead, by this time it was after midnight, and the Casa said there was nothing they can do. They had no maintenance man they could send out at that time of night, until the next morning. I had to find another hotel to stay in, which costed me another $200 a night on top of what I paid for you guys, by the time we got to the other hotel it was 3 o’clock in the morning. Not a good experience at All . I will be going on Google and yelp and putting a bad review on Vacasa. They are giving me a problem about refunding my money on top of it. All, I’m going to have to dispute it on my credit card.

Pleasant

Could not enjoy balcony due to maintenance for 5 days. Ceiling fan in bedroom broken and was afraid it would fall if turned on. Rust on refrigerator door.

other than the laundry issue it was an excellent stay.

view, location and space.

no personal washer and dryer. for the price there should be laundry are in each room. although there is a laundry room on each floor there is only one washer and dryer in that room and it’s $4 a load. no change machine in the laundry room. only one change machine on the first floor and it took my money.
