Our group from across the country met to complete a project. This was the perfect home for a work retreat! Comfortable, quiet, cozy. Productive and restorative! A rare combination!

The location of this property is conveniently located near downtown Albuquerque and Santa Fe which made it easy to explore and enjoy the area. Also, there are a lot of trails you can walk to. The views from the property are great, from the front of the property you see the Sandia Mountains and the back of the property you can see downtown...really nice view at night. The property owner Jay was very generous, he worked with me on rescheduling my reservation and at the last minute we decided to stay an extra day. Overall, my stay at this property was everything I could have hoped for and more. The combination of the perfect location and excellent accommodations made for a truly relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway.

This home was the perfect place for our extended family trip to ABQ. We loved the amount of space and neighborhood. The host was super responsive and we loved its central location in ABQ - it was an easy drive to the Balloon Fiesta.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and we absolutely love it. The location is great and the owners do a fantastic job responding to messages and answering questions.

My family enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and attractively furnished house while visiting with relatives who live in the area. The kitchen was well equipped. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. I would be happy to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and in a good location. There was plenty of room for 8 of us and the communication and information provided by the host was very much appreciated. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Property was very roomy, in a great location, with plenty of room inside for a group of adults to spread out and relax. If you plan on spending any time at the property, you will have to put up with 3 barking dogs whose kennel runs along the back yard. They woke us up first morning and were very annoying the small amount of time we sat outside. We never saw the dog owners to address the issue with them, as they never came out to stop the dogs from barking. In fairness to the rental property owner, we did not contact him regarding the dogs next door because we thought it would not continue each time we went outside, but it did, however; the dogs did not remain barking the entire time we were outside, they did eventually return inside their house via a doggie door. Hopefully this situation is mitigated for future renters.

Perfect place to stay while working in Moriarty! Very comfortable and clean. The first week the neighbor's dog was our alarm, at 6 or 6.15 began to bark but the second week it didn't bark anymore. . Back to the alarm clock...
A very good experience for us!

This house was perfect for four of us, but could easily have accommodated more guests. The feel of the place was so comfortable and clean, we felt right at home. The well appointed kitchen made meal prep super easy. This place has it all and it’s located in a very quiet neighborhood. The next time we play in an Albuquerque tournament, we won’t hesitate to stay here again.

Albuquerque get away
House was in a beautiful area, we enjoyed sitting on the front porch looking at
the mountains. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Comfortable beds, Plenty of towels, nice to have garage to park in. There was no shampoo, conditioner or soap for shower, we had to go buy some and left there for future renters. Just a heads up to bring your own or buy some at the store. Everyone enjoyed their stay in the house. Thank you.

Amazing time celebrating with family
We had an amazing time during our stay. Jay was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions that came up. The house was clean and neat and had plenty of extra bedding and blankets. The house is a five min walk to an amazing park that we used to spend time with our 92 yo uncle and 18 other family member. The house is close to hiking trails and is located in a safe and friendly neighborhood. And a bonus it was a ten min walk to my great uncles house! We spent almost every morning sitting on the porch admiring the mountains and the sunshine. Thank you again for helping us create amazing memories in and around your house.

Perfect location!
This house was perfect to host our wedding party. The location was excellent, extremely close to everything we needed, very safe, very clean. Jay was a huge help and extremely hospitable. Would absolutely stay again, and will recommend to friends and family in the future!

Great place
This property was perfect for our family of 5. The fenced-in yard was helpful for giving our kids a safe place to play and there is a slide in the backyard. There is also a beautiful park nearby and lots of hiking trails. The only thing I would change is that there was no soap or shampoo in the showers. We had to buy our own. Usually, when we do vrbo they are provided. Regardless, it's a beautiful place and I would recommend it.

Great location for all things Albuquerque.
Beautiful house that is 20 minutes from the airport and an hour to the Santa Fe Plaza. Comfortable for all ages and a quiet neighborhood to relax in.

Great, comfortable home
We enjoyed the spacious home, beautiful yard, and quiet neighborhood. We were grateful our dog was able to come with us as well, as it is hard to find places that allow them. We felt safe letting our kids play outside, even in the cul-de-sac.
We were surprised to find that there were plenty of blankets, towels, dishes, seasonings, Tupperware, etc. We were also pleased there were baby gates to help keep our dog confined when needed. The owner got right back to us when we messaged him which was reassuring had anything major come up (which it didn't).
Lol we did spend a lot of time trying to decide if anyone lives there, or if it is only used as a rental.

Great layout and location, could use updates
The property had a great layout, lots of space, and a big yard. There were a handful of broken or worn down fixtures and hardware, and it could have been more thoroughly cleaned between guests. The yard had lots of tall weeds, which made it harder to play in and enjoy. The house is in a great location and very close to the trails, and the host was easy to communicate with.

This home is lovely. Well decorated and appeared clean. It has everything we needed -4 bedrooms, Big yard, computer desk. Lots of thoughtful touches with fully equipped kitchen including high chair, booster chair and play pen. Owner was kind and flexible with our check in and out as we are in the process of home buying. The downside: the large yard could have been awesome but it was unkept. I’m guessing a years worth of rotting leaves and tons of old dog poop. When I asked, the owner sent someone to clean it, but it took a week for him to show. Having small children and 2 dogs myself, I couldn’t wait. It took me that whole week to clean it. Then the maintenance guy showed up right after I finished (naturally). He was nice and said he’d be back to clear away the enormous pile (think 10ftx8ftx3ft deep). Never saw or heard from him again. Then the big issue: bugs. A few days after arriving I noticed bites. I dismissed as mosquitoes. It soon became clear it was something else as I was covered with bites and no one else was. My research lead me to the conclusion it was bedbugs. I presented the issue to the owner who claimed this was a new issue and sent an exterminator (5 days later). At that visit the guy said yes, looks like bed bugs though he couldn’t find any live ones. And then he told me he treated that room for bed bugs 9 months previously. So NOT a new issue. Fine, whatever. Says he’ll come back to treat the rooms. After repeated emails from me they finally come a week later. Different guy says he can’t treat the rooms because we hadn’t cleared all the linens and clothes - which no one has told us to do!! So I begged and pleaded and he agreed to stay while I frantically bagged everything. He confirms it looks like bedbugs but also couldn’t find live ones. Says they’ll be back next week to treat again. Several emails to the company and now 10 days and no one has returned. Meanwhile I’m spending HOURS everyday stripping beds and washing all our clothes and the linens in the whole house. HOURS. Not caring for my 3 small kids. Then my son starts getting bitten badly. So we’re out of here. I can’t keep doing this indefinitely and watch my child suffer. I don’t know what the deal is. The owner appears concerned and he seems to be working to rectify it. But honestly I spent 4 weeks cleaning and butt off. So, I have very mixed feelings here. Loved the home and was prepared to enjoy our stay. Just didn’t work out that way for us.

After three visits to this home, our kids call it "our home" and love staying here! The home sleeps 8 comfortably with comfortable mattresses. One room has two twin beds which is perfect for my older boys. The master has a nice balcony that overlooks the city. This home is right at the base of the mountains with a kid's park also within walking distance. I bought hiking boots (lots of cactus) for all kids ages 5-12 and they loved hiking and climbing on the rocks. While lots of activities are a little ways away (balloon fiesta, old town, etc), the location is still great right on Tramway (556) which connects I40 and I25 around the East side of town so makes getting anywhere easy and puts you right at the moutains. Finally, this home is also great for young kids even with the stairs. There are gates for the stairs there and even a high-chair. We hosted Thanksgiving (and Christmas previously) with 25 people and only had to bring in two tables and around 10 chairs. The cul de sac is also nice to keep traffic in front of the house low. We will be back next year. Thanks!

Wonderful location & great home
Everything was fantastic! The house gave plenty of space both indoors and out. The only glitch was the code given to get in the House was not updated, but the property manager responded quickly. The only thing missing was the view of the city, which is blocked by a large tree, however, that tree gave wonderful shade and invited many birds to view.
Should we require such spacious accommodations again, we will return to to this lovely home! Thanks for everything Jay & Kevin! This house helped make our vacation perfect.

Super clean and well stocked
This house is very clean and nicely decorated. It has plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, linnens, places to relax, tables to eat at, a nice backyard and even a balcony off the master. The kitchen and bathrooms sparkle! All the appliances and doors, and electrionics work perfectly. Hiking trails are a 5 minute walk away. We have no complaints!! Thank you for a really nice and reasonably riced place for our family to stay.

Albuquerque Bliss
We stayed at this property for my mothers birthday! It has a great yard for kids to play in. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots and pans you need to make any dish. There was more than enough space for all of us to have a comfortable stay. We felt very safe in this neighborhood. Highly
Recommend.

This Place is Great with an Outstanding Owner!
This was our second stay in Jay's home and loved it again! We hosted Christmas Dinner this time with only 19 guests (we hosted 23 people for Thanksgiving here three years ago). We only had to bring in six or seven folding chairs to host the 19 of us. We got creative with the tables he had to make one long table. The space in this home and its location (and owner) make this our first choice when going back to ABQ. We have five kids (4, 6, 8, 11, and 24) and this home works perfectly to sleep us all. In fact, the kids specifically asked if were staying here again as they love the house so much.
The location is nearly perfect. We literally walked to the park and the mountains with all four of the younger kids. We hiked the mountain and explored a little cave in the boulders (including our four year old with a little assistance and mom not there to stop us). Bring hiking boots as there are lots of cactus and stickers that loved our tennis shoes. The kids wanted to hike every day - we only got to go twice.
The house is well-supplied with nearly everything you need from a high-chair and baby gates (we did not need this time) to cooking supplies and games. The enclosed backyard is great when the kids 4 and over need to be outside, but the parents need to be inside (has two levels so may need to watch younger kids). The view from the backyard, and the view from the master bedroom deck are both incredible! It is ever-so-slightly obstructed with the neighbor behind, but the elevation allows for a great view of the city and the terrific sunsets.
Finally, the owner of this home is incredibly nice. Since we were celebrating Christmas here and he was there just before us, he allowed us to ship a few large boxes earlier in the month to store for us. To our delight (especially my wife's), we arrived to find a wreath on the front door and candles (lights) in the windows. He also took the time to buy champagne and gelato for us that was in the refrigerator with a note. We found out this trip that he also has great maintenance. The heat went out during an extremely rare blizzard with 35 mph winds around 3am, snow and temps between 15-25 degrees (with wind-chills below 0). The heat/ac guy was there first thing in the morning with winds still over 30 mph to fix it! We made great use of the gas fireplace and TV in the morning. All my wife worried about is making sure he would be willing to let us stay here again!

Excellent family home
If you like hiking, a friendly neighborhood, cleanliness, and a great home layout for a family retreat, this is the house for you. A pleasant park and multiple hiking trails along the Sandia mountain base are right up the street, easy to walk to. We were visiting our UNM student and he enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood and family time in this well stocked and beautifully decorated home. The owner was extremely nice and responsive. We will definitely return. The artwork is lovely and there was plenty of room for our family of 6. We have stayed at many VRBO properties, and this one is a gem.

Balloons and More
We all enjoyed our stay at your home. It was very comfortable with plenty of room for all 6 adults and 3 children. The girls (5 and 2 yr olds) really enjoyed the rocks in the front with the glass pebbles. It was like an Easter Egg hunt for them. Engaged them for a couple of hours. All glass pebbles were returned to the rocks. We were able to see some of the balloons from the upper balcony, but had a nice trip to the balloon park. We were also able to take in the McCall Pumpkin Patch, which was very entertaining for all. The location of this home was perfect given we have family in Albuquerque and in Edgewood.
