Great value for this location, walkable to the lively Placita and also Condado Beach. Breakfasts included and air conditioning works well in the sleeping areas. *Some* of the staff were very friendly & helpful (Karla at the front desk + everyone on breakfast service)
The pool pictured is actually a hot tub which was unusable during our trip as it was 90+ degree weather everyday (and only drops to 85 at night!) The free WiFi in our second floor room was spotty for the entirety of our 3-day stay, but it worked well enough to get by.

Cozy, walkable distance to beaches and restaurants, breakfast included and it was very good. I liked the small pool, it was intimate. Very nice for couples.
The high traffic areas of the room were well cleaned, but it needed to be dusted and the bathroom tiles deep cleaned. It activated my allergies. The wifi didn't work all the time.

Loved the staff! Everyone was super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful; made to order and tasted great! The hotel is very quaint and very quiet, both inside and outside.
The pool was dirty (just leaves and sticks) the first night we came. It was cleaned the second night but it was too cool to swim. There's no parking. We ended up parking around the corner (which was fine) but we had to pull up on the curb a bit to unload luggage and pick up and drop off elderly parents.

Property is a hidden gem
It wasn’t a dresser to place our clothes or enough storage room.
8.0 / 10.0
Breakfast offered a small 3-item selection but was made-to-order so it was hot and 'homelike". Fresh fruit, coffee, and juice were served with any of the 3 main options.
I did NOT like being charged the full price of my stay 6 WEEKS BEFORE I arrived. Yes, there was a small warning on the website that they "might charge at any time" but it's unusual to have to PREPAY a booking which has been guaranteed by a credit card already.
Also, for other potential guests - just be aware that there is NO elevator or baggage assistance. If you book the best rooms (with a "view and balcony" on the second floor) you will lug your bags up a narrow stairway to get to your room.
Parking is not available on-site, you must either "street park" if you find a space or use a paid lot a few blocks away. Street parking in off-season was easy for us but in the high season it's probably not so easy.

Breakfast was provided daily, the pool was available 24 hours, it is also a good spot for luggage storage if you can't check in early or if you have a later flight.
No room service/housekeeping, walls are paper thin so of course we heard literally everything down to the boxing matches between couples. Mosquitoes bite you like piranhas, the so called "Puerto Rican Frog" croaked allllll night. Toilets can use some maintenance and accuracy of room can be provided. No knowledge of the surrounding areas or resources from the staff and no amenities. Parking is also limited(street parking, catch it if you can)

Breakfast was satisfactory. The nicest touch was having a fruit bowl every day!
We asked them one time to change the bed linen which was not done.

It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do
I stayed here 4 years ago and it was great! It was managed by a married couple. This visit, I noticed it was under a new manager whom was never present during my 7 day stay. There were random people working at the front desk 24/7. They would either say they work front desk or are security, yet, offered very little information or knowledge when asked a question about the hotel or local area. Just seemed a bit strange. They sat there on their phones during the entire shift.
As far as the room, the mattress was absolutely horrific and extremely loud. Our friends could hear us turnover during the night. We stayed in Room 10. Also, the condensation was building up from the a/c and actually leaking from the ceiling (not the unit). We made a complaint because the water drops were falling on my fiancée and I all night long each night. Furthermore, during the day, the water drops formed a softball sized wet spot down to the mattress. The person working the front desk came up and powered the a/c off, then back on. He said that would fix the issue. No expert here, but you can’t “reset” condensation. The room was clean and the a/c worked. Past the loud and extremely uncomfortable bed & leaking ceiling, it was a decent stay.

Easy walking distance to local businesses in San Juan. It was very clean, I didn’t arrive until very late and the staff was very helpful and nice when I arrived. Everything seemed to be well taken care of and maintained. There was a little wear and tear here and there but everything worked as it should and really it was a few very minor cosmetic blemishes that did not affect my comfort or stay at all, just a few scratches on some furniture is really all.
The room I had was small by American standards. Not a lot of room for a lot of luggage.

Staff was wonderful and helpful. The little pool spa was wonderful. Breakfast was great as well. The rooms were comfortable and the tv was very up to date and was easily casted to.
Sound travels through the old building.

The breakfast has some good options (ham and cheese omelette, waffles, fruit bowls etc.) and comes in a short period of time. Our room had a nice little outdoor space and good sized bathroom. Beach towels available along with some sunscreen, bug spray was also great
Our TV had the option to sign into several streaming platforms, but the wifi connection/signal was never strong enough to actually stream anything during our stay, so that was a little disappointing. The only less than ideal thing was that the beach towels were not available every day, so we re-used ours for a few days in a row.

Only the location was good. Nothing else.
The service was bad. The room was not all what was shown on the website. I asked for a better room even with paying more, still they did not give us a different room. Nor even clean the room upon request. However, the rooms were available on the specific dates in booking.com. But they told us there is no room available. Since I had to pay in advance, they did not want to take care of their guests. Instead just exploited the situation. This is cruel act and very mean. Unacceptable. I recommend not to book this guest-house. It was a big mistake!!

Great location, attractive price compared to other hotels, security/reception (safe)
Pretty old fashioned rooms (will be nice to get upgraded), I expected buffet breakfast - but you have to choose from certain items (not like on hotels photo).

Breakfast, especially the included cafecito, was fantastic! All of the people that work at Casa Wilson are friendly and accommodating.
Location was unfortunate. There is jackhammer construction happening in the building behind Casa Wilson, and our rental car’s catalytic converter was stolen overnight. This constant noise made dealing with the rental company on the phone almost impossible, and there was nowhere to go in the entire Inn that was quiet. Casa Wilson was simultaneously doing work right outside of our door. Every time someone comes in late or makes a noise in the hallway, you hear it. Someone actually shh-ed me while I was talking with my partner in my room, since the walls are so thin. I was obviously quieter once I realized I was bothering them, though the rooms should have more sound-proofing. Light from the lobby streams into the room, strong enough to get through my eye mask as I attempted to sleep the first night.
The staff seemed aware of the car-jacking problem, and knew our catalytic converter was stolen as soon as we said “our car is making loud noises.” I’m guessing this is not a first. You CAN purchase a parking spot for $15 a night, but the lot was full with double-parked Tacomas. Honestly, Condado is pretty terrible, and I wouldn’t stay there again.

For our needs, the location was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also liked the size of the property. It was easy to get in and out, and afforded an opportunity to become acquainted with other visitors.
The sofa bed in our room was not very comfortable. Also, although the bathroom was nice, the hot water in the sink did not work and the drain did not drain well at all.

No hot water, super small room had 1 small table. Had to put suitcases on floor. Did I mention NO hot water. We were there 2 days. We got 2 towels, no service. Walls dripped and I was bitten 5 times. Not sure by what. Not mosquitos. Bed bugs since feet mostly. Plus it was $250 per night total!

Clean, neatly decorated, decent breakfast. Cute room with balcony. Good price. Lovely historical home. Pretty and relaxing internal courtyard with dunking pool. Really nice day desk clerk helped us print cruise tags for our luggage the morning of the cruise. Huge walk in shower was welcome amenity.
Only one outlet across the room to plug in CPap and phones. Stairs to room and no help carrying luggage after hours when we arrived. We managed though because we brought an extension cord, just in case.....

I loved room 16, the door opened to the outside & I liked this. The building & grounds were delightful as were the owner & staff. Breakfast on the outside patio each morning was excellent. The artist's works around the building is very cool! I'd like a monthly price for room 16. I would stay longer for the right price.
I don't know, but if I had to offer something I'd say,, a couple of high quality house guitars always makes me happy !!

Breakfast was good.
Extremely loud. Could hear cars in the street playing loud music as well as receptionist and guest speaking extremely loudly and then receptionist watching movie on phone at 4am. Beds were also not fully made and duvet inners were missing covers. A bit gross.
