This was our second stay in Port Clyde and with this host. The properties were both impeccable and well kempt. They make check-in and check-out very easy. I'd highlight that if you're traveling to Port Clyde and expect to see the historic General Store, it is no longer there. We were surprised to see it no longer standing, leaving downtown PC without a real restaurant.

Cozy and comfortable house with unbelievable views of a working Maine harbor.

We had a great time & the house was perfect for us! The 4 star is due to the fair amount of cleaning required at check out despite the high fees attached to the price. Think sweeping, washing towels & dishes, drying them & putting them away, stripping the beds & starting a load of sheets to name a few items. Not exactly how I want to end a vacation. Aside from that, the place is lovely.

Our family (two adults, three children ages 16-19) had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated. We were tucked away overlooking the ocean and the lobster co-op nearby (which was fun to watch throughout the day). We were also walking distance to the Village Ice Cream, general store, coffee, and food options (and a basketball hoop for the teens). Earlier reviews mentioned sunlight in the top floor bedroom as an issue, but shades have been added. We didn't lower them though because the views are too spectacular to miss out on. The house was cool even with the high temps outside. The outdoor areas also provided plenty of space to relax and enjoy quiet time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The home was amazing The location was wonderful
we enjoyed watching the lobstermen come and go and take care of all their business.. We had the most beautiful sunsets almost every night we were there.. We had 2 eagles that came every morning and hung out on the roof next door
The house was so clean and comfortable and so well taken care of We were so happy
Every day we took a trip to a different town and a one day trip to Acadia and did the loop drive trail and it was perfect... I would highly recommend this home and vacation rental agency

We had a wonderful stay in Port Clyde and the views were breathtaking. The house was beautifully furnished and located within walking distance of everything. We were immersed in the working life of this quiet fishing village and became accustomed to the sound of the fishing boats coming and going. We learned about the history of the Wyeth family in this area and enjoyed the art gallery. We definitely recommend a stay in Port Clyde and this house was amazing!

What a delightful week our family of 4 adults had this week! In part, it was the location of this property, with its wall of windows on the Port Clyde waterfront. We could watch the lobstermen and other fishermen go out in the mornings and bring in their hauls in the afternoon. Plus, the walkability to the General Store, the Monhegan Island Ferry, and the Marshall Point Lighthouse are a huge bonus. The house itself is well-appointed with very MAINE decor, some fun LL Bean games, and a nice kitchen. There is no bathroom on the main floor, and one of the bedrooms does not have a closet, but ample drawer space and cute furniture, a responsive property manager, and a lovely outfitted lawn (with propane fire pit, grill, and patio) made up for these minute issues. Be prepared to appropriate time for some light vacuuming and washing and drying of towels prior to departure. We will likely stay here again.

We loved our stay at 16 Rasberry. The location was great for walks to the general store and lots of ice cream. We stayed in and played monopoly several nights. Yes the lobsterman wake you up at all hours of the night. Sometimes 3:00 am sometimes 530 am but it never bothered us. It made it feel all more authentic. The sheets were great. I plan on buying some LL Bean sheets now. There is no bathroom on the main living level which was not bad. Lots of steps to walk up and down like you are in a sailboat!

this is our second september stay in the house. Beautiful view on the harbor and its lobster fleet. The inside is very bright and well equipped for lobster cuisine. We are committed to come back in 2023 .

Beautiful and restorative
This home is absolutely lovely and it is our second stay in it. We are somewhat saddened that the rental prices seem to have gone up but, since it was our first vacation in two years, we bit the bullet and went for it. We left with much gratitude in our hearts for this special place by the sea. We love Port Clyde---been going there since 1997--once of my all time favorite places. The property manager is first rate, too! Thank you for taking such great care of this sweet home and of us, too.

Accommodations Lacking
The layout and comfort of this rental is not good. There is no bathroom on main floor, you have to go upstairs or down to the basement. The master bedroom suite on 2nd floor with sitting deck is nice, but it can't be enjoyed as there are no blinds in the bedroom. The sun rises at 5am, no one wants to be forced to wake up at that time while on vacation. I can't understand a rental not having blinds in a bedroom, if for nothing but privacy? I checked reviews after getting here and many have mentioned this over and over, it still isn't corrected. One would think they didn't want the 2nd floor to be used as there are blinds in the basement and in 1st floor bedroom. My husband and I chose to sleep in twin beds in the basement for the privacy, plus there is a bathroom down there. Although, that was bad as the front door has no blinds and the 5am sun beams right down the stairs flooding one of the beds with sunlight. Also, there are no headboards on the twins downstairs, the beds can't go against the wall, our pillows fell off the back of bed. Was very uncomfortable stay. Would not recommend this rental to anyone. They appear to not consider the comfort of their guests by not listening to the many reviews that have been submitted. We will not return, we saw many rentals available in this beautiful village.

Everything we wanted.
The house and property were perfect! We celebrated our wedding anniversary along with our friends who did the same. It was perfectly decorated and exceeded our expectations. We love this part of Maine and can’t wait to return again some day.

My Perfect Piece of Heaven
We visited Port Clyde for off season for our first time. We have been going there for about 13 years in the summer and decided to go for Easter break. We could not have been happier! It is so quiet and tranquil! The perfect time and place to get away from it all! The cottage could not have been more perfect! THE VIEWS! THE VIEWS! THE VIEWS! Loved watching the harbor seals frolick while sitting at the table. The bedding was amazing. The kitchen was very well stocked. We ate in most nights because you really could not get a better view any where else. We loved walking our dogs to Marshall Point and Drift In Beach. Everything about the cottage is spot on!

The perfect cottage by the docks
We had the mostly lovely and relaxing stay over the holidays. The cottage is so cute and cozy. It is well decorated, well thought out, and had everything we needed. It was so delightful to see the boats going and coming back each day, and to see the daily catch unloaded just down the hill from the cottage. We can’t wait to come back!

Great location.
I've stayed there 4 different years, starting in 2015, and have never been disappointed. Fantastic views from all the windows, the back porch, and especially the top deck. Everyone who stayed there, including visitors, were really impressed with the place. I plan on renting the cottage again next October.

Fantastic location
Spent a great week here in August with another couple and our two dogs. It's hard to find supernice properties that allow animals! It overlooks a working dock, so endless stuff to watch-- we saw a boat crew offloading a shark they caught. Easy walk to general store, art galleries, restaurants, boat tours. Sometimes you just hate to have to get in the car to do this on vacay. Would stay again, for sure.

carefully packaged
With unlimited view on the harbor and its fishing activities the house with its very bright interior on the first and 2nd floor provides a feeling of a temporary escape into the tropics
Very clean and extremly well provided it offers the guests a sensation of personal rewards for having made the correct decision.
Of course this is an harbor with a lobster fishing fleet that brings all the human colors starting in the early early morning . However a deep quietness takes over till the early afternoons while sitting in the garden patio under the umbrella where your resting mind give the opportunity to a gentle breeze to flip the pages of your favorite readings for you. But hurry up because comes 3.30 pm the lobstermen are back to the dock where you can contribute to their livelihood with the purchasing of their harvest and after a 3 minutes walk bring theses creatures back to the house on the hill where all the pots, pans and claw crackers provided by the proprietor are waiting for a good usage. Then at night the circle starts over . There is a crew that likes to sing "Should I go or should I stay " My wife told them from the opened sun balcony on the second floor to go. Myself I have no urge to leave but to stay and enjoy this little gem on the cliffs of Port Clyde .

Perfect get-away!
We totally loved our Raspberry Cottage experience! From trips to the beach, morning walks for coffee, evening walks to get ice cream, fresh lobster off the boats for dinner…..we all enjoyed our first-ever trip to Maine. And the sunsets….AMAZING! Our only complaint was the lack of window shades in the master bedroom. But overall, it was a perfect get-away for our family.

What a Gem
We are a party of 5 including 3 teenagers. We traveled from Florida with the desire to find a cozy, yet modern home located in a quiet place that was within walking distance to a few local shops such as coffee, convenient store, and ice cream. We desired the traditional New England experience. This rental not only checked all the boxes, it exceeded our wildest expectations.
We loved meeting the locals on our walks down to the little village. Tons of small day trips to great locations. Great time at the park down the hill. Hours spent watching the local lobster man work their magic. Kids went "crabbing". Mohegan Boat ride to see the puffins is only steps away. And with all this action, it was amazingly quiet. The home had everything we needed. The views are like none other. The sunsets and stars are incredible.
A few things to consider when choosing this rental:. No restroom on the main floor was inconvenient. The home is old and that is the charm; unfortunately not so great are the ceilings, stairs, and shower heads with 3 of our travelers over 6' tall. There are no blinds which we would NEVER add and ruin the views.. but the sun does come in starting at 5 am. If you are a light sleeper, this might not be the rental for you.

Loved our stay on the coast of Maine.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this adorable cottage. It was immaculate, fully equipped and the scenery was unbelievable! We were amazed at all the hard work going on below us on the docks. Communication with Veronika was very easy and she answered all questions we had. Can’t wait to visit again.

Always something to see
Beautiful location above the lobster and fish processing dock, so there's always something going on. Just the right size for 2-3 people; 6 would be tough. If you can't do stairs, be aware there's no bathroom on the main floor. Beautiful vistas, swanky interior decor, great outside furniture. This is a favorite rental of ours.
