Great camping just beside the Seljord lake

Great location, beside the river and the lake. Hosts helpful. We stayed in a typical old cabin which we loved it was a bounce in the past. We had access to a barbecue, had our own picnic table for outside, access to a 24/7 shop.

It was clean everywhere in the house except for the kitchen dishes, we had to wash them before using them because of dust and some insects.

The cabin was small but comfortable. It was possible to park just next to cabin. It was well located in a quiet area. The communication with the host was remotely but access cards to the bathrooms were prepared for us in advance as we arrived late. There was also shop opened 24h.

There was no running water in the kitchenette.

Great shop with a lot of differnet things to buy - open 24 hours. Self serve / pay - good idea and I'm sure works very well. Friendly service when talking to host on the phone. She must get a lot of calls....

You have to pay more for bed linen (120kr?) - this is normal for 'cabins' but it did not say this on booking.com so it was not clear and i had not taken this into account when i booked. Nonetheless cheaper than a hotel room and more space / privacy than a similarly priced guesthouse.

Excellent

Clean and simple standard, well organised, excellent facilities. Quiet, beautiful surroundings. Staff is friendly.

Our specific cabin was missing chairs, would have been nice to seat the whole family around a table. I'm sure the staff would have provided, had I asked, but we mostly ate out so we didn't make a fuss.

Holiday at the dog shows

The excellent bathroom, the self-service shop was open all the time, the hostess very friendly, a fridge and a hotplate in the cabin etc. Super place with the dogs!!!
