This is a small, very small house located in the beautiful neighborghood of Georgetown. The house has all the amenities except a dishwasher. It is so small that it is really convenient for one person, although it has two bedrooms. The bathroom is very small. Communication with the landlord was excellent. So, a dollhouse, but fine for a short time.

Reviewer Comments:
This house was amazing for two summer interns! We stayed for a month and the place was beautiful, well-organized, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Some particular highlights: the private patio is SO lovely, the bathroom has a skylight which is amazing for mornings, comfiest couch (we loved the throw blankets), and very fast wifi - much appreciated for remote working! The neighborhood is super safe and quiet, plus the place is conveniently located next to a bus stop which made commuting easy. The place is also only a short walk to Wisconsin Ave shops and restaurants which we loved, and just down the street from the house is a grocery store which was huge for us! Charlotte & the team were so helpful and communicative throughout our stay. Charlotte even put together a fantastic working/studying area for us - she thought of everything! Can’t emphasize enough how incredible of a host she is. Would highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting DC :)

My month in Georgetown
I had a lovely extended stay in Georgetown! I would definitely come back and stay, I highly recommend!
4.8
I highly recommend this rental, lovely place, central yet quiet. I would only add that the stairs are steep so be careful with small children or for yourself! There are excellent handrails, the steepness is normal in Georgetown. Super location, very clean

We were fortunate enough to book this place last minute after another rental had plumbing issues! Charlotte was amazing and helped facilitate check in the next day (even having the cleaner come with little notice for a new renter). The location could not be beat - easy walking distance to the water, main shopping area of Georgetown, and yet quiet and tucked away at the end of a residential street. It was small but cozy - perfect for our family!

Great location, lovely little house
Location could not be better. Property is small scale, as advertised, but was just fine for me and my two children and we were out all day. Very clean, with all the basics you could need and close to Georgetown’s main strip, lovely parks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was immaculate and well-supplied. The only two notes i would make are that it is quite small. And we had a little trouble getting the right temperature with the thermostats. But I would highly recommend the Georgetown Gem.

What a lovely house in the heart of Georgetown. It is small but that is its charm. It also has alovely little garden to sit in. Everything works well and plenty of storage space. No drawbacks. We ised for a month while looking for a permanent home in DC and it served the purpose well. Highly recommended for a longer stay.

Reviewer Comments:
The property was beautifully maintained but two small for two tall people. The bedroom with queen size bed could only accomodate one person as the bed was against the wall. The bathroom was clean, but extremely small. My husband is 6'3" inches and struggled. The skylight in the ceiling did not close
making the room quite uncomfortable. There were two napkins and one kitchen dish towel. A few paper towels did not suffice. The heating system is as loud as a jet plane.. very warm (And Loud) when on and quite cold as soon as it turns off. There is a lovely small enclosed pation which is probably lovely in the warmer months.
The most difficult issue was that the initial arrival package did not arrive. We had no key code, no internet information, no parking information, no restaurants or transportation information. After many phone calls we received the information halfway through our 4 day stay. I have been reluctant to write this review. I would not recommend this rental service.

Upon Arrival
We never received the information package for our stay. I had e-mailed the contact person a week before and did not receive the information. Upon arrival we called and receved the information to enter the home. The information package contained information on parking and internet access. After several frustrating calls and e-mails we received the information the next day. There was laundry in the washer dryer. The home and neighborhood were lovely. I would suggest a warmer welcome. There were very limited items to make for a comfortable weekend....no napkins...one dish towel....very few paper towels, no welcome information except what to do with the trash. The apartment heating system was extremely loud....like a jet plane. I'm sure it would be lovely in the spring and fall when no heat is necessary. The apartment was lovely but very small. The queen size bed in the master bedroom could only accomodate one person because the bed was against the wall. The room with the twin beds was much more comfortable. We love Washington DC but will not use this property manager again.

Georgetown Gem was a great place to stay for our (two couples) week in DC. They are serious when they say it’s small, but it was comfortable and nicely furnished with everything we needed. The neighborhood was clean and quiet, and walkable to many restaurants, shops and public transportation. We recommend Georgetown Gem.

We enjoyed our stay at the Georgetown Gem. It is tiny! Especially the bathroom! But worked just fine for our family of 4. We walked to the Dupont Circle metro every day, and down to the waterfront for dinner one night - Uber also works well when your legs are done for the day.

Everything was smooth from the start of the booking to checking out. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage in the house until the maid had finished cleaning. The house is a short walk from the Main Street in Georgetown which has a variety of shops and good restaurants. Just round the corner is a 7-11, liquor store and delicatessen and the metro bus stop is at the top of the road. The house is small and any more than 3 would be a bit of a squeeze but it is spotless with very comfy beds and fluffy towels. It was ideal for the 2 of us and in a very safe area. We were flying back to the UK on an evening flight and found we could store our bags in a locked area of the Book store new to to 4 Seasons hotel through so we’re nale to enjoy a full last day. Thank you to Luxbnb for a great stay !

Reviewer Comments:
We were visiting the East coast with a final stay in DC. The accommodations were great for us (two adults and one teenager) and it was nice and clean. Also, the central air conditioning worked like a charm for those sticky August days. There are ample stores in walking distance and a 7 Eleven just at the corner for any simple items needed.
